Hotel is located with very easy walking access to downtown. We booked a Lodge Suite for two nights at a total cost of $1226.00. For that price, I expect something a little bit special. The room was spacious, but had two Murphy beds (website description reads two queens) that were not comfortable. Rooms are in need of renovations - pretty dated. Parking was an issue and comes with a $14 per day extra charge. I drive a truck that does not fit in the parkade. I was left to find my own street parking outside the hotel (which is not easy on a weekend) and is all by-the-hour hour paid parking. Reception's response at check-in was very unhelpful. They simply stated "parking restrictions are listed on our website". True statement...but you have to look very hard to find it. Pool area was small and so crowded my pre-teen kids wanted no part of it. I fully regret paying the extra money for a suite that was completely not worth it and the lack of help on the parking issue at check-in was enough to encourage me to look for alternate accommodations on my next visit to Banff
