- Hussain BEast Brunswick, NJ7 contributionsgood experience, but bad conduct of a specific employee who left a bad taste of the whole experienceWe booked this activity online prior to our visit? we had a car emergency, so we went to the pursuit counter in elks hotel. We were helped by a young lady, Claudia who wasn’t friendly and helpful at all, we left like she treated us like fairly. She was just rude and not friendly at all, she gave us all wrong information: we wanted to walk away, but then we realized that this is the only company which sells tickets to a few activities here, so we were left at her mercy. She also sold us some addl packages but later we realized that she could have given us discounts as a bundle. One of her colleagues said from the background, but she told her shh she was handling it. We realized this only when we reached the gandola, that we were treated this way. We spoke to the manager Gandi, who made is right for us, he went above and beyond to fix it and only because of him I am rating it 4 stars. The small group size made the tour feel very personal and special. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Calgary and Canmore. - Guide7296553 contributionsCam was the greatest! He was knowledgeable, friendly and a lot of fun! I would highly recommend this tour. He got us to Lake Louise before it was crowded so if you wanted to rent a canoe you could walk right up. He suggested a wonderful hike and offered to take pictures of each group. He then continued to Lake Moraine. We never felt rushed and enjoyed both locations. This well thought out tour takes you to some of the most breathtaking places I have ever seen. I will be back for sure because it is just that incredible. Book the tour, buy the tickets to the gondola, and take the leap because it is absolutely worth it! - Matt01911 contributionsThis was excellent in every way. I was not aware until a few days before arriving in Banff that it is almost impossible to visit Lake Louse or Moraine Lake by private car.
Our driver, Rita, provided informed and interesting commentary and was very helpful with our questions.
The sites are stunning. Lake Louise can be a bit crowded but Moraine Lake was more peaceful.
Rita also stopped on the way to the lakes at Castle Mountain which is also very picturesque for a quick photo stop.

He was knowledgeable about the area, and gave us lots of information throughout the day! We customized our tour, since we were staying if Banff! We visited 4 beautiful lakes, a waterfall, and Natural Bridge….also stopping in Lake Louise Village for lunch! Rahul also is a great photographer…and took great family pictures for us! - coffj511 contributionsWhat a fun trip seeing Lake Louise, Lake Moriane, hiking Johnston Canyon. Jackson our tour guide shared interesting information throughout the trip and lead us to all the spot to go. This trip will save you time searching for parking spaces. We only had one full day in Banff and this allowed us to see and do all the things we wanted to see. Plus I felt like this gave my husband a break from driving everywhere. He entertained us with stories throughout the trip and taught us about the history, culture and environment. It was great to be taken directly to each beautiful site and not to have to worry about parking. The scenery was spectacular, especially Moraine Lake. - DubtravelerDublin, Ireland114 contributionsThis is an amazing day out. The tour runs from 2 iconic yellow American school busses.
From the moment we started, the vibe from our hosts set the scene.
We were met at the meeting spot by Dominique, who it turned out was one of the owners. Before we even stepped on the bus, Dominique talked us through each stop the bus takes, and explained what was there to do. There are 4 main stops and you can choose to do as many or as little as you want at each stop.
We wanted as active and complete a day as possible so Dominique planned our bus times for us.
Our bus trip started at 7.40am and we got to hike the full length of Johnstons Canyon up to the Upper Falls, a return hike of about 2 hours. We just had time to do this and meet the next bus Dominique had suggested for us.
We then were brought to the Lake Louise Gondola and had plenty of time to do the Gondola trip and explore at the top, and have lunch there.
We then hopped back on the bus and went to Morraine Lake where we climbed to the top of the rock pile and got awesome views of the beautiful water of the lake and surrounding mountains
Then we were brought to Lake Louise with still plenty of time to explore the trails there and take a rest just admiring the views. We were still in plenty of time for the drive back to Banff for 6.00pm. Oh, and did I mention that we saw a bear on the drive back to town? Our driver Bobby did an amazing job of driving very slowly amongst other traffic that had stopped on the mountain road to view the bear, thus helping us get some great photos.
Our thanks to our two wonderful friendly and fun drivers, Jeff and Bobby. Thanks also to Dominique - you went out of your way to ensure that our day was personalised so that we were able to see and do so much. You really made this trip so unique for us. And thanks also to our other guide, Lewis - your enthusiasm and love for this area are truly infectious. Your happy outlook and in depth knowledge of the area really enhanced our enjoyment of the day.

We highly recommend it. Denise was a great tour guide and told us all about the area. Definitely do the extended time at Moraine lake so you can canoe (it was $160/hr/boat but worth it!). - Tim L2 contributionsSuch a good tour, we did the 60 minute. The guide in the captain were great - Kirsti(sp?) and McKenzie? I think those were the two that lead our cruise.
