Elk + Ave has a stylish and upscale aesthetic, helpful and friendly staff, nice on-site restaurant and cafe and is located right in the center of Banff. The room was comfortable with nice amenities (the Nespresso machine was appreciated), good heat/ac, and nice service.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, bed was very comfortable, room was nice, no complaints. If you're taking the free shuttle buses for skiing (Lake Louise, Sunshine, Norquay), the bus stop is right next door which is very convenient. I'd stay there again.

Booked this based on a Big Three package and picked it for its location. Didn't have a lot of expectations, particularly given the reasonable price. Hotel exceeded all expectations. Great lobby, super helpful staff, nice spa and jacuzzi and nice sized room. THe hot water was great, the beds comfortable and, again, the staff was super accommodating and helpful. Really thought it was a home run value.

Would highly recommend, staff are very friendly and helpful! Nice hotel rooms, decent amount of space for four adults to stay. Only downsides are no continental breakfast, no underground truck parking and no pool. On the upside, very close to downtown which is nice when it is very cold out.
Thank you for the recommendation and the positive comments on the staff and rooms. We are always looing for ways to improve our oversized vehicle parking. Banff has such limited parking space but we are always seeking solutions such as high school parking across the street.
