My husband and I were at the Goldwyn in May 2024 celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary. We wanted a resort that was smaller and quieter as we were looking to relax, the Goldwyn was the place to be. Beautiful place, our room was incredibly spacious, ocean facing. The front desk staff including Augestin and Koreo were welcoming and gave us a great tip of where to eat at Fish Fry. Housekeeping checked on our room twice per day. The pool and beach area was full of lounge chairs and umbrellas. The staff was attentive and took food and drink orders if you wanted. There were kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling gear to use at the beach. For dining there are two restaurants, Amara which is more casual and is open for lunch. Oia is open for breakfast and dinner. We ate dinner here 3 of the 4 nights we were at the resort. They serve Mediterranean and Asian cuisine, the sushi was freshly prepared and melted in our mouths. For our last night, I had the lamb chops and my husband had filet which we also enjoyed. They do room service too, which we indulged on one evening. The Atria is their coffee bar where we went in the mornings and they service delicious pastries as well. We did book an excursion through the onsite company - Tarzan Tours and had a great experience with Born Free Charters. We do not like to go back to the same place twice so that we can explore what is out there however we will certainly be back to the Goldwynn. You can see Breezes and Baha Mar from the Goldwynn and we kept reminding ourselves of the perfect choice we made.
