The best vacation I ever had! This hotel is more for people who are introvert and the vibes here are amazing. The hotel service was great thank you to Jennifer and her amazing team was very friendly.
I would say the food not that great but around the area they have some amazing Jamaican food. The bar service was okay they did have a little attitude with us but the drinks there was great. Overall I would go there again to have a good experience again!

My husband and I went to Negril in January and March of 2022 and stayed on the 7-Mile beach and we were planning a trip for May and decided we wanted to stay on the cliffs and stay somewhere we had never stayed...we decided on Samsara. This is a beautiful property on the cliffs with view of ocean from every room on cliff side of hotel...they do have a garden side across the street. The property has a 4 building side which is the original buildings there which is The Classic side and has 2 pools...the new building just recently built is called the Sea Vuz and has a beautiful infinity pool...there is a building which has a upstairs dining room with views of the ocean while eating and downstairs there is a covered open-air bar. There is also a new covered area with sitting for staying out of the sun and upstairs sitting for those that want sun.
My husband and I decided to stay on the Classic side and do the all inclusive plan which allows you to eat all three meals, drink Red Stripe beer and cocktails from the bar from 10am to 10pm. Each day with started our day with eggs cooked by Elorine and she always got them perfect...she also served your choice from the buffet that included a variety of foods such as bacon, corned beef hash and always their Jamaican dishes...fried plantains, festivals and salt fish and ackee. Lunch was order from the menu that had so many choices that we ate 8 lunches and didn't try all the things we wanted. At night there was a buffet outside under the stars. All the food was very good along with the cooks and wait staff making sure you were satisfied.
Samsara has a sister property called "Legends" that is located on the 7-Mile beach that each day at 10am they give you a free shuttle ride there and pick you up at 4pm...if you don't want to stay that long you can get the short ride back to cliffs by taxi for only $5. While you are there you use this property just like you would if you were at Samsara...if you have the all inclusive plan you eat and drink all you want while you are there. Here you have a beautiful beach that you can walk down and check out all the quaint bars and restaurants.
We were amazed by the fabulous staff at Samsara. When planning our trip we called the Reservation Center at Samsara and Merlene was so very helpful. She sent us quotes on staying on Classic side and Sea Vuz with room only, room and breakfast and room and all inclusive. Anytime I sent her an email she responded quickly. When we arrived at Samsara we met Jennifer at the front desk....she was so accommodating. You know she loves her job because anytime of the day you see her she is smiling. She showed us rooms...answered all our questions...set up massages....Anything you need ask Jennifer. And a shout out to Rochelle at front desk...didn't see her as often but was also great. Then you had your wait staff....Tina, Marcia, Chontelle, Kim, Felicia, Ashanti and Millie....their service was 5-star. Tina, Marcia and Millie also were bartenders after breakfast hour and started making drinks at 10am. Awesome job girls. Kendrick is manager of food and staff and he goes way beyond his job title...Satisfaction is his goal. I can't leave out the maid staff that keeps the rooms really clean. Melvin keeps the pools sparkling and Melvin keeps the gardens and grounds clean and beautiful....they also ask you each day how your day is going. GREAT JOB STAFF !!!! Also thanks to Ariel for the warm welcome and taking time out of his day to make sure everything was good...Ariel and his brother Nestor were always present on the grounds which is unusual to see owners on a daily basis.
This is a wonderful resort...it may not get a 5-star rating but it is 5-star to us....you need nothing more...if you are planning a trip to Negril give Samsara a try...you have the best of both worlds...cliffs and beach....where you can have peace and quiet on the cliffs or go to beach take a swim and see lots of tourists walking the beach. You have beautiful sunsets while watching catamarans go by on cliffs or can go down to beach on shuttle at 4pm and watch the sunset... If you aren't doing the all inclusive plan you have so many options of food on the cliffs and on the beach..(Go on Trip Advisor and get top restaurants in Negril...very helpful) Options are great at Samsara and we will be back for our 64th trip to Jamaica very soon.

My fiancé and I had an amazing night at this resort. It is secluded, clean and modern with amazing views. Rochelle and Jennifer made this last minute getaway easy from the calls to checkin. Would recommend for a quiet getaway.
Definitely going back !
