It was the most amazing stay. If you are looking for a private retreat for couples, then look no further because Villa Beach Cottages has all you need at a very competitive rate. This option is better than an all-inclusive resort because you can go out and explore/experience what the island has to offer. The rooms are clean with the amenities you need to enjoy a couple's retreat. The staff is friendly, supportive, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The small restaurant onsite serves up fresh island cuisine prepared by talented chefs. It's a great place to start off the day before exploring the island. Great team. Great management. I highly recommend this property especially if you are budget conscious. My husband and I loved our stay and we can't wait to visit again. It's family friendly too which is fantastic!

Our stay was amazing, starting with all of the staff. The chefs are family now, as well as the complete staff.
Everything was amazing from the room, the staff, the beach, Everything.
Colin is one of the best people you will ever want to meet not often do you find such amazing people.

Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back with the whole family next year or maybe sooner if we can find a house to purchase.

Oh my gosh! Where do we start! From the front desk at check-in to the desk at check-out, it was amazing! Starting with Jada our young energetic front desk clerk and our lifelong friend now, to the owner himself, we were treated like royalty!! We have traveled all around the world, including Hawaii numerous times, and this was the most special place ever. You are living right on the beach. You walk out of your room and you're either in the beautiful pools or in the ocean. We had wonderful breakfast made to order by the sweetest girl and served on the porch most mornings and a beautiful "private" dinner one night, a surprise for my new fiance! The rooms were so quaint and comfortable. They were so good to arrange excursions and help in any way possible. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay here booked 2 cottages for our family of 7 felt like we had our own pool and beach, though others were staying people go out and about and sit on the lovely balconies so never seems busy. We used the kayaks and paddle boards and they lent us snorkelling gear as well.
The cottages are very spacious well equipped and comfortable. We had a car so could drive to the supermarket for food difficult without a car the road is busy and not nice to walk on.
For going out we recommend spinnakers for happy hour cocktails, pink plantation for a beautiful restaurant in a lovely garden, Ledera for amazing food and stunning views and the Naked fisherman at Smugglers cove for friendly service and good food, get there early book lunch and you can use their quirky sunbeds all day, the snorkelling is fab there too. Definitely the Friday street party in Gros Islet shouldn’t be missed the fish bbq from Dukes and dancing in the street is a great experience.
We took the minibus trip the resort suggested south to the volcano botanical gardens, waterfall, mud baths, hike on the Pitons and sugar beach with Claudius. Definitely recommend not doing it in your own car, Claudius showed us the best viewpoints, places to stop etc and listened to what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. Some of the roads are very windy and steep.
Thanks Dexter for all recommendations and the friendly reception staff

This place was exactly what we were looking for as our little getaway from the kids. We celebrated our 15-yr anniversary here and the staff went above & beyond to make us feel appreciated. We rented a car from Sixt at the airport so we'd have the flexibility. There are two Massy Stores, the island's supermarket, near Villa Beach Cottages that we visited for breakfast foods, snacks, and drinks. Having the full kitchen in the unit was great. The bed and shower were spacious & comfortable. The best feature was the proximity to the beautiful beach for perfect walks, wading, and lounging. The size of this property is ideal as the pool, parking lot, and common areas never felt crowded. There were some families with children, the restaurant food wasn't special, and there is definitely road noise since it's right by the busy main road, so do not expect this to be a luxury resort, but for the price to be right on a perfect beach, this place is a home run. Every staff member was very friendly plus they thankfully recommended we go on a private day-trip down to Soufriere with Bicette guiding us to a waterfall, botanical gardens, mineral bath, mud bath / sulfur springs at the volcano, easy hike to see the Pitons, and A+ lunch at Bamboo Restaurant. We were so glad we had Bicette take us instead of me try to navigate that driving ourselves. Driving those roads is tiring... Anyways, if you're not looking for luxury amenities, don't mind some road noise, and know having a unit right on the beach has very small negatives like humidity, a few bugs, sand/salt, and people, this is a great place!! We absolutely loved it!

Room tip: Stop at the Massy Store for food & beverages (do not expect to walk). The patio/balcony is great for an evening netflix on your laptop.

This quant, well kept family owned waterfront cottages was a hidden gem and a very pleasant surprise! I traveled here with my fiancé for her birthday late March 2024.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Once they discovered it was my wife-to-be birthday, the staff decorated our room with tasteful birthday confetti and balloons. The on premises chief baked a cake and presented it in our room as a surprise when we returned from a full day excursion exploring the island on a Catamaran. It was a perfect ending to a very special and memorable day!

The beach front location is superior to more expensive resorts on the island, just steps from our cottage. This will be the first of many trips we plan to make to this intimate, friendly getaway.
