Villa Beach Cottages is a family run resort with lots of interesting history and an incredible welcoming staff. We rented a car from their car rental company called Coconut Car Rental and they arranged for a pick up at the airport due to us renting the car. We were met by a friendly man named Austin who safely got us to the north of island before dark.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable although you can hear the noises from the road that is close by. The noise in no way impacted our enjoyment of the property but every now and then the motorcycles can be heard.
The beach is literally in front of the resort and this is a major plus. The property is clean and well maintained and plenty of beach chairs for all. We fell asleep to the sound of the crashing waves each night. Air conditioning was great and newly installed.
The little restaurant on the property is great and the women who cook the food are amazing and so friendly.
Colin Hunte is the owner and he spent time with us giving history of the island, resort and its special connection to Canada. He also gave us tips on what to see, how to see it and the staff were able to make reservations for us at the best restaurants on the island and also insured we got the best tables.
The rooms are cleaned daily and the resort is close to a Massys grocery store for supplies. Groceries are expensive as everything is basically imported to the island.
The property arranges taxis for guests and they will drop you off and pick you up at the various restaurants. Taxis are cheap so make sure you discuss price first.
They also arranged a day long private tour of the south area of the island which was amazing. I would not drive to Soufriere from Rodney Bay for any amount of money.
The villas are located right next door to Sandals so you get the same beach views for half the price.

Room Tip: Near a busy road but also near shopping for groceries and Rodney Bay.

It was a wonderful spot. Rooms were clean, the people working there were pleasant, the restaurant had two lovely women cooking every day and the cab service was excellent. Colin was very informative when we arrived and gave us some good advice on restaurants and things to do. The beach was very nice and private and the water was clean and exceptionally nice to swim in. It was a nice get away.

Dear Team-

In a name of my family I would like to say thank you to everyone. As a world traveller, I can say that that was my best family holiday. 5 STARS + .

and...

Feedback from 11 years old guest who stayed for a week / seven days.

I never knew people could be so kind until I went to St . Lucia.
Remember that one person on the plane who helped you out? Or that one man which picked up a item of yours? Do you remember the happiness you felt in your heart? Well, you can experience that in the Villa Beach Cottages.
With staff who will help you out with everything you need. Shout outs to the people in the kitchen, the gardeners, cleaners, to everyone. Also, not only the people but the rooms they are a chef kiss. They look so beautiful at first glance and also the second or in other words every glance. Also, the cleaning of the room is so good. It looked like everything in the room was brought a few minutes ago and it was sitting there for ten minutes. Also, forget all of that for a second! Do you want to do something, but you don’t know what? Well, don’t worry, they will help you out. If you ever go there, go ask for the manager he will give you such great advice so that each person is happy with the activities. Not only the manager but also the reception desk can help you get stuff. The hotel offers for, example snorkelling gear– yes, will give you that. Also don’t worry about taxis or renting a car, the reception will help you find that out. Also, if only you seen the beach and plants all around they look like they were made from photoshop. So unreal! So pretty! Also the cooks, they make such good food that it might have been one of the best food I ate.
I really I mean like really, really recommend you to go and visit this place of heaven. Also known as St Lucia.

Villa Beach Cottages is absolutely spectacular!!! Our 2 bedroom villa was superb. The grounds and cottages are meticulously cared for. The team on-sight is amazing and I can't say enough about how well they cared for us. We had drivers to take us wherever we wanted to go - thankfully! The roads are difficult to maneuver, narrow and deep potholes. The drivers were all very informative and helpful. Their team helped us plan our days and provided insight to wherever we wanted to go. The ladies in the kitchen were wonderful and provided great meals. A massage on the beach really topped off the trip. I will certainly go back!!

Room tip: Be sure to carry water with you.

What a gorgeous spot this is. The location on the beach is spectacular. The rooms are charming and the terrace overlooking the sea is a definite highlight. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Colin, the owner, was a charming host and it was fascinating to hear his story, the history of the resort and gain some insight into St Lucia and its rich history. The restaurants he recommended - The Pink Plantation and The Coal Pot- are definitely worth a visit.
