My friend and I stayed as part of a group on a Great Rail Discoveries holiday. The hotel is a pretty traditional Swiss wooden chalet. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. There is a small terrace where you can enjoy a drink after a day out.
The staff are friendly and helpful. All the food was excellent and home cooked.
It was a very good base to explore the surrounding area and the station of Wilderswil is a 10 minute walk away with connections to Interlaken.

We stayed as part of a Rail Discovery package. The hotel is charming, and the staff really friendly and polite. The rooms vary in size and shape, due to the limitations of the chalet style accommodation, so it’s a bit pot luck as to the size of the room you may be given, and the views from the window.
Continental breakfast was excellent, as was the evening meal, which catered for vegetarian diets.
The hotel is ideally located, just a 10 minute walk to the station where frequent trains can whisk you to wonderful villages and countryside.

This hotel is an absolute gem. It is a traditional Swiss chalet which makes it very attractive before you even enter. Inside it is both cosy and quirky with lots of local antiques on display.
The rooms are very comfortable with everything you could need.
The food is exceptional with many courses and great variety.
We were very impressed with the staff who were all helpful and cheerful.
I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is well positioned in a perfect Swiss village just a 10 minute walk from Wilderswil station.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel with a Rail Discoveries group. It’s a traditional Swiss chalet. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Food and wine were excellent and there was plenty choice for everyone. Ample portions and good table service.
Breakfast was continental buffet style but always lovely fresh bread, fruit, cold meats, cheeses, boiled eggs etc.
Really nice large room in the annexe. Serviced daily and towels changed etc.
Would go back in a minute!

Excellent hotel - I would highly recommend. A lovely, traditional chalet hotel with very comfortable rooms and a homely feel. The standard of food is very high - very good food at breakfast and dinner and nice packed lunches. Fantastic and friendly staff. The setting in this pretty, peaceful village is ideal.
