About
Filaga, an authentic Sicilian Pizzeria by Sicilian natives. We are located inside Chelsea Market and we offer authentic Sicilian pizza. Our pizza is freshly made daily. The main components of our pizza are: dough, tomatoes, mozzarella and oil. Our dough is only made of Italian 00 flour, fresh yeast, salt and water... and time. In fact, we mix the dough in small batches using a little known artisan proofing process which can last up to 48 hours. This process achieves a very light, digestible, and tasty dough. Our flour is directly imported from Italy from stone ground producers, just the way it used to be.

Fresh and tasty pizza in the Chelsea Market. Not a lot of space to sit and eat but the pizza is so amazing, worth standing up and eating. I have been in town a few days and tried a lot of other pizza and Filaga is top notch.
Stopped in around 2 on a Wednesday during the year end holiday season and wandered around for a bit before settling in on a few fresh slices of their Margherita pizza.
The crust is thin and tasty, the sauce is perfect with just enough spice and tons of fresh cheese to enjoy. At $5 a slice it's perfect. Service is super friendly too!

Great pizza! They had great “regular” pizza for the kids and fun Sicilian pizza options. Highly recommend. Pizza slices were big and shareable. Limited seating but outdoor seating if weather permits.

This is now our GO-TO spot for quick & delicious bite if anywhere on this end of the island when in NYC! Never disappoints and the Sicilian slices here are now both my favorite and my comparison for all others. The San Gennaro is perfect but so are all their offerings. Wine pours are generous; service is always friendly and authentic.

Wow. What a slice. Visited Chelsea Market not with any intention of eating but decided to have a slice of pizza. Absolutely delicious. So nice we decided to have another. I had Pepperoni and my husband had the mushroom. Lovely heated seating area outside

This was the best pizza we had during our time in New York!
100% recommend to try the calzone from here and all at reasonable prices for the amount of food you get in one slice!

I visited Chelsea Market in March 2022 and found a huge queue and glad I waited. Being English never knew what the fuss was about for Pizza in American dramas like Billions etc.
So I sat down order 2 slices and a beer. Oh my god it was heaven, after the 2nd mouthful I now know what it's about. BEST TASTING PIZZA EVER

$6 for a slice of margarita. But was fast and quality and taste amazing!! Lots of toppings to pick from and they put your slice in the oven for you!

Ordered two slices from here while at Chelsea Market. Not cheap ($5 and $6 each) and to be honest were just OK. Not worth the hype but also not bad. I’m sure I’ll find better pizza in NY
