Nice little find just round the corner from Sagrada Família, very traditionally Italian, nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. It offers a set 3 course menu for a decent price. The pasta dishes were to die for, the ravioli was gorgeous. The mains although still tasty could not match the pasta. We had chocolate cake to finish which was light and yummy. The only thing I’d say is my husband had the ravioli starter and veal main which were both quite small dishes for a man especially as the veal had no accompaniment. Our children were offered a shared main menu was perfect.

A MUST GO!!!! This is the best place ever. Just round the corner from Sagrada Família, the owners offer amazing authentic Italian pizza and pasta at fantastic prices. Their customer service is amazing - so friendly - it’s like eating with family. The pizza is simply delicious!

Needed to find somewhere local upon arriving and luckily found this tiny perfect little restaurant not to far away and it turned out to be one of the best nights in Barcelona. Great wine, perfect pizza and brilliant staff. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area (and much better than many in the area).

We had the set menu. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was amazing. We had the salad and risotto starters and pizza for main. It was all delicious and great value. Our best meal in our one week trip to Barcelona.

We kept walking past this place in our travels and every time we called for reservations for lunch or dinner they were closed. ( They are closed on Sunday and Monday it turns out)
We are sorry we finally got into this welcoming place the day before we left the country because it was a treat. The many positive reviewers did not lie.
My wife and I each started with a plate of five artichoke filled home made raviolis served in a tomato sauce with diced eggplant that was from heaven. Then we split a cheese yellow pepper and sausage pizza that was perfect. Very thin crust, our favorite. Then came tiramisu and pannacotta with caramel sauce to die for, for desert. All this with two very generous glasses of a very nice red wine EACH and a espresso. 27 Euros!!!! And we were made to feel like family!
I told my wife on the way out, it makes no sense to cook at home in Barcelona with establishments like this!
Great spot. Oh, Get reservations, by the time we left at 3:00PM every table was full.

Simply the best pizza I have ever eaten and at 67 I have eaten a lot of pizza!
The couple who run the restaurant are a great team and everything is made by hand with love and care. I eat here a couple of times a week it is that good. So, when in the Sagrada Familia area stop by and enjoy their pizza or other great Italian food.

The staff were amazing, very hospitable from the moment we walked in, and were very attentive to our needs which made the dining experience very enjoyable, with a personal touch. The food was incredible, I couldn’t recommended it more.

Don't get fooled by the exterior, this place is much more than a simple pizza restaurant (although I'm sure the pizzas are very good). The non-pizza menu is short but offers & delivers fantastic quality food. We had a smoked-salmon starter and two different types of steaks and all was fantastic. Service is very friendly & helpful & the wine very good.

The restaurant is very cozy, and the Italian chef was very welcoming. He tailored my pizza and suggested the salad with his own spin. I had a tiramisu afterwards. He insisted to offer a drink at the end on the house.

We were in Barcelona for a rew days and wanted an evening meal not too far from our hotel. We found restaurante Don Angelo, checked the comments and ratings and were not disappointed in any way. Mozzarella and tomato salad to share for starters, absolutely delicious! Fresh bread and house white wine to accompany it. We have always found the house wines in Spain to be good and this was no exception..
For the main course risotto with green asparagus and parmesan ... superb, as was the chicken with pine nuts and raisins that my wife chose. This was followed with ice cream with hot raspberries ... yummy. All this for 60 euros for the two of us! The owners are very nice, helpful and took great care with a nut allergy problem that my wife has. Would we go again? Absolutely as it was so good.

On our last night in Barcelona, our daughters were craving Italian cuisine. The chef came to our table to make sure our food was made to order. The homemade ravioli filled with veal accompanied with a pesto sauce was exquisite. For dessert we had homemade tiramisu, the best we have ever had. It’s like having a piece of Italy while in Spain. We highly recommend the small family restaurant. We loved it!

We were originally on the search for a Spanish restaurant but as it was getting late we ended up down a street and came across this nice little restaurant! The staff were all lovely and food was fantastic. We shared the caprese, my husband had a pizza and I had a beef ravioli with pesto and it was really good, we also had 2 soft drinks and the bill came to €38.50 which we were very happy with. If you are after a little and lovely Italian then give it a go! 😊
