The place is very cozy, but a bit small. Staff was suuuper nice and friendly. The food was very delicious and we waited overall less than 10minutes to get it. The service and prices are just perfect for the great quality of the food you get! Loved this place! 10/10

Lovely restaurant located in a quiet street near la sagrada familia. The waitress speaks French, food is tasty and nicely presented for an affordable price. A great place !

This was a nice find thanks to TA. Having visited la Sagrada familia this restaurant was a 10 minute wal away but set in an area you probably wouldn’t go to if your a tourist. Nothing wrong with the street but not en rote to anywhere you’d visit. Inside it is a nice open space. The 2 young ladies who served us spoke excellent English without prompting and were helpful with regard to menu choices and friendly as well.
The food was a pleasant variation on the more typical restaurants in the area. Tapas of tomato bread chicken wings and duck rillette (of which there was a huge amount!) were nice if not amazing. This was followed by very good main courses of candied lamb with beans and duck breast roasted on the bone with baked celeriac which was a stunning accompaniment. No room for dessert but good coffee. Thank you

On our last day in Barcelona we visited Zed. We had serveral less good experience on our vacation in Barcelona, but this was something else. The restaurant was very cosy and it was over all a nice place to sit and eat.
The food was amazing. We still talk about it sometimes. The courses saw quite simple on the menu, but it was sooo good! We took one course with mashed potatoes served with some meat. The other one was with mashed sweet potatoes served with meat. We also had a dessert that was great. Over all the experience was great. A perfect ending for our vacation! The only sad thing was that we discovered this restaurant our last night. Really would like to eat there again. We will come back next time we visit Barcelona!

This place is simply magical. It presents good old “motherly” cuisine in a way reminiscent of high gastronomy at a very reasonable price point. The dishes are simple yet elegantly presented and the taste is on point. The starters were the best part but the main dish and the dessert were both outstanding as well. If you want to eat something nice after visiting the Sagrada, this is the place to be!

What a super surprise! We just noticed this tasteful restaurant while on our way to a Thai massage parlour just opposite and decided to try it afterwards. Bistronomique food at a very reasonable price: smoked monkfish, beef tataki, tuna tartare with strawberries, carrot and lime mousse and a cappuccino mousse - an explosion of savours 🤩 And a French patronne and patron 🇫🇷 Amazing. Will be back next time for sure.

An amazing restaurant owned and run by a French couple - husband the cook and hostess the wife. Very hospitable, very nice and elegant but not formal just as we love. Lovely interior, music, everything.
We enjoyed food a lot and would be visiting the rest frequently if we lived in Barcelona.
Very good value for money, yum-yum :)
And I got some inspiration and flavor combination/ recipe ideas to try later at home which is always a huge plus for me :)

A hidden culinary diamond near Familia Sagrada! I and my better halve enjoyed a great late lunch at the Zed in Barcelona. We started off with a nice cheese plate of Catalonan cheeses and the moved onto the main courses. I had, hands down, the best ribbetts I have had in my life! It was so good that now, writing this review a week later I cant for the life of me remember what my wife had!!! :D
Great food, great service. A special little diamond.

This restaurant is definitely a place to go. The spanish waiter was really kind all the time, he speaks French English and Spanish, very convenient for foreigners 😊 the dishes were absolutely delicious, balanced, and well seasoned. I think everything is organic. The kids also enjoyed the meal, especially the tomato garlic fresh soup, very refreshing in summer 😋 we tried almost all the tapas, it was too difficult to choose !

My daughter and I visited this restaurant in 2019 and loved it so we were so happy to visit again 3 years later, post pandemic and find it equally as fabulous!
We are vegetarian and the menu offers some delicious choices. The bread with tomatoes and sweet potato croquettes were delicious.
The service was exemplary, we had such a friendly and engaging waiter and I look forward to visiting again should I return to Barcelona

It was such a cute and nice place. The waiter (Carlos) was very friendly, we had a good chat with him. We just wanted to grab a quick food, but ended up spending the whole evening there. The food was delicious and I can 100% recommend the hazelnut mousse desert. The location is very cosy but hard to see from the outside.

What a GREAT FIND! excellent quality food, tasty, wholesome and healthy 😋 service fantastic..Loreto was the best waitress..helpful, informative and very personable as were all the staff. We ate here twice during a 4 day stay and would strongly recommend 👌 thanks for the great dining and wine ING 🍷 experience 😀

As usual, we left it until the last minute to find a restaurant for our evening meal so took a stroll around our location in Barcelona. We stumbled across Zed and to our delight they managed to squeeze us in. This was the best meal we had in Barcelona and the best meal we had in quite a while, the staff were attentive without being pushy, an excellent spread of wines, including a natural option. Highly recommended but please call them to book as you might not be so lucky

We were staying near by and very jet lagged and just weren’t up to tapas/late dinner like the locals. Just a few steps away, we found this yummy place. It has a small menu which you can find on line and there were zero issues in communicating in English which was much appreciated when so tired. Everything we ordered was well prepared and quite tasty.

Charming small restaurant. Loft feel. Good food. Interesting menu tastefully decorated. Good service.
Smoked monkfish, low temperature egg, tuna pasta, side salad, lava cake and mint ice cream. All great.
