Our visit to Little London was nothing short of spectacular. In was our first night in Munchen so we were not looking for anything too involved. We walked in to Little London without a reservation and despite the restaurant being fully booked a little later in the evening, they were able to seat us anyway. Our servers were all extremely friendly. We ordered a couple of meat dishes, including the Pichana steak and a couple of sides. All the food was excellent. The steak was one of the better that I've ever had (which is saying something for a Chicagoan!) and the jus sauce that came with it was a perfect pairing. The truffle mashed potatoes were very rich and very delicious. Special thanks to our server Matthias for making out visit pleasant and recommending good wine with our meal. If you're looking for a great steak in Munchen, this is the place.

Top quality - highly recommendable

I booked online, table for three without a problem. It was my son‘s 18th birthday to celebrate and the restaurant staff assigned us an extra private table deep inside the Restaurant (doesn‘t look big frontier outside). Service was absolutely excellent. We had combination starters, then Porterhouse 1,5kg for three with three sides. Drinks: three different Gin Tonics from the extensive choice. Spanisch wine (by the glass) to go with the meat. Desert was a special for the new adult. I eat out exquisitely quite bit - all good was absolutely perfect in quality, spice and preparation. Lot‘s of attention to little detail. Porterhouse has two types of meat on the same bone (filet and Roastbeef) - we had it prepared medium rare. Taste, spice and texture perfect for both. Sides yummy. Positively surprised by the truffle fries - really good. Desert highlight was the Haselnuss ice cream: one of the best, I‘ve ever had. Tall bill, but absolutely like with experience, quality and service. I highly recommend this.

Exceptional service, wine selection and atmosphere

I rarely eat at steakhouses outside of the US, the atmosphere and bar drew us in for a visit. The service, particularly Manolis and Sebastian, was incredible. Will be returning just to spend time with them again talking cocktails and wine. The meat was good and after the first dish was slightly over cooked, they replaced the entire dish and it was the perfect temperature. Highly recommend a stop in to see Manolis at the bar for his cocktail creations!!

Plus Service good, but artificially friendly Food Large wine list Minus Very noisy. Measured 70-80 decibel. Communication almost impossible, bad effect on being able to enjoy. Sitting there is stressful Interior in pub style with low ceilings No WLAN Wine list made up for show with some bottles in the many thousands. Little choice in reasonable price range Meat appears to be grain fed only. No grass fed alternatives Customers rather middle class, and some tourists. Was there three times over some years, nithing changed. Merits 3.0-3.5 points

This is not your usual monthly visit steakhouse. This is your special occasion, celebratory location. Treat yourself to some exquisite & mouth watering steaks & some refreshing & sizzling drinks. Pamper yourself to some 1st class service & enjoy the food & drinks at most probably the best steakhouse in Germany & maybe even in western mainland Europe. With regard to the food, they do quality over quantity, which you can see from the fact that they don't have a long menu. But they definitely know what they're doing & they do it extremely well. They have pages & pages of choices of whisky & gin, which they specialise in, as well as other alcohols & multiple different cocktails & mocktails. They could add a few more vegetarian/vegan appetiser options to the menu as a change of taste, preceding the mouth watering steaks. My tip for you: If it's the 1st time you're going there, plan for around 3hrs & tell your server that it's your 1st time. This way, the server will explain to you the different food & drink options & help you with the selection. They have fabulous service, so you won't regret it :)

Was good, bad development of this location

Can make it short or quick. We like(d) this location. Food is usually nice, exclusive, slightly changing menu over time, a good recommendation for beverages as well as food, the presentation is fine and they waiters take care of their guests... until... you leave. The negative aspects hit me, when I received a cold lamb, the untaxable bill, that is "information only and not a qualified bill" and staff that does not appreciate your visit when leaving. Especially when you have been there with a bunch of people, spent a lot of time and money, everything is doing smooth, except for the cold beef, that was as cold as the the staff when leaving the location. I am not mentioning that a non-qualified (informative only) bill might not be taken as taxable at all and the restaurant would like to not pass the taxes to the tax office. Will the tip be also without taxes then? Also showing more gratitude for the visit is not a high expectation by the customer. Not saying that the staff does not seem to be very happy about their own location, when asking some special questions... Since these aspects overweigh my impressions, the rating is chosen accordingly and our favourite location will not be replaced by a new one. Sad but true. Competition is alive and we say farewell to Little London as this is very poor according to our expectations. Seen better habits and education by other locations already, which are less doubtful.

Confession time When our supplier reserved this restaurant for after our day long meeting, all the Brits sighed with disbelief That’s because we had never heard of this place before and the name didn’t excite us much We had visions of pie, mash and liquor or fish and chips for the mains Never judge a book by its cover…or title, in this case From the outside, this doesn’t look much - in fact probably a dingy cafe at best Once you enter, you realise you’ve just stepped into the Tardis as the place simply continue to expand the further inside you walk It’s huge! OK, there are various depictions of London life on the walls, but that’s where the link with the place ends The service was super on point all evening I felt we were being serviced by twenty different waiting staff - it was amazing Because we were a large group, we were given a set menu to which our table paid no attention to the waiter who was explaining what was being served That actually made it better as we didn’t know what the next dish would be and by dessert time, we were excitedly placing sweepstakes on what it could be - I won by the way 😊 So, for our starters we had a flavoursome leafy salad, melted goats cheese and a succulent steak tartare The mains were two types of steak, cooked to perfection (the rib eye was the most popular), with spinach, thick cut chips, root veg and a variety of side sauces And dessert was a panne cotta topped with a ginger crumb and well needed sorbet Would i come back? Rave! Staff was lovely. I don’t speak any German and they were very accommodating. I asked them to suggest some gin beverages and my server Ilyas gave me his two favourites which soon became mine. I started with a Strawberry dessert. The berries were in season the icecream paired nicely. The goat cheese cream brûlée was EPIC! I have never had something like that and the sugar crust with the fig and cheese was amazing. Finally I had the duck. The mushrooms were full of flavour and the duck was cooked perfectly. Five start are given to the amazing staff. It’s never fun to struggle with languages but they were so kind. Ilyas made great suggestions and provided the information for the peach Gin in case I want to bring some home with me. Finally travelling alone and eating alone can be mixed, but this was lovely safe and friendly.

We visited Little London after being recommended the restaurant pre trip and were so happy we chose to eat here. The restaurant and service was great from start to finish. The food was amazing too. We had smoked Ora king salmon and oysters to start and fillet mignon and fish and chips as mains followed by apple strudel. I would go back here if visiting Munich again.

We just returned from an outstanding dinner at Little London. I'm originally from Chicago and know a thing or two about steaks, and let me tell you, these guys are second to none. We had the surf and turf, filet and ribeye served with HUGE prawns, respectively, and were blown away! Our steaks were cooked to perfection with an assortment of tasty side dishes including truffle mashed potatoes, green beans and french fries. Service was top notch. Emelie and Marc were fabulous and Flo provided a wonderful french chardonnay recommendation. If you are visiting Munich, Little London is a must stop destination for outstanding food and attentive friendly service!

I typically like to eat local foods when I travel, but I made an exception with this british steakhouse in Munich. The service is excellent. My waiter was Theo. He was very polite and attentive. I ordered the filet mignon medium-rare with a side of fries and seasonal vegetables. The meat was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The fries were crispy and not overly salted. The vegetables were seasoned just right. I will definitely be back before my stay is over and everytime I'm in Munich! P.S.: They also have a nice selection of single malt scotch whiskys.

Dinner here was the highlight of our time in Munich. We loved everything, from the service to the atmosphere to the food. The staff was helpful in suggesting cocktails for us to try, and the food was SO good. We got the Royal Choice appetizer and split the Gentleman’s Cut. The steak was sliced table side for us. Everything was prepared beautifully, and they had gluten free bread to go along with the beef tartare in the appetizer.

Truly amazing - goes beyond the delicious food, the service was sublime. Dined here with my family and we all left with smiles and great reviews. Incredible steak and the salad was out of this world - we ended up ordering another. Great martinis and an amazing Moscow Mule. Quite the cute and cozy atmosphere! My mom and I loved it so much we went back on our last night to sit at the bar and have a drink. Managed to talk to every staff member — the best part…half of them are greek (we’re greek)! One waiter even grew up in Chicago and it felt like we were just at home. The manager was so friendly, a welcoming smile and a great conversationalist. Definitely a MUST! Everyone here was personable and made the enjoyable food and drink that much more special. We will definitely be back! 6 out of 5 stars for sure.

Visited this restaurant on New Year’s Eve. From the outside it looks very narrow and small, however once you enter the restaurant goes back a long way. The service cannot be faulted, our waiter was very attentive. I had a 325gm steak which was the smallest but to much for me. Dinner, Dessert & Wine for two €100

5 star service and food. The staff were extremely friendly and gave great service. I had the rack of lamb which was beautifully cooked accompanied by truffle mash and beans. The presentation was great and the portions plentiful. Friends were more than impressed with the steaks. Regretfully we did not have room for desert. I would definitely return.
