Hi have been to this restaurant a number of times as it is close to my office. They offer take-out meals and you can also sit and have breakfast or lunch (or both). The food has always been delicious. The service has always been excellent and attentive. Great place to try if you are in Old Montreal.

Worth a bit of a walk to get to from the Metro in an historic part of the city worth exploring afterwards. We had the Sante and the Nordique, both delicious. Poached eggs on a bagel, one with fruit, the other with smoked salmon. Cappuccinos were terrific too. Very attractive place with superb staff.

Great menu and excellent simple food in a very nice modern casual and hipster setting. I'd stop here for any first half of the day meal or a coffee and snack or a prepackaged meal or bar of chocolate. Simply a winner.

We've been here countless times and have always loved it. But the last two times have really been disappointing. The prices are way up, and the food quality is down. 25$ brunches (much more expensive than they used to be) with a far lower quality of food than they used to have. And, what really bothered me, they charged extra for honey for my granola. Come on!!

Brunch was fantastic! We had a reservation and were seated without wait. Small menu with a good mix of options. My partner had the avocado toast with a poached egg and I had the Lac Brom. Both were delicious! We enjoyed our coffee as well. There is a shop where you can purchase gift items, so we also purchased Quebec maple syrup and some candies.

We loved this spot so much, we came twice for breakfast on our weekend trip. Truly gracious and kind service. Wonderful Coffee. If you love smoked salmon, the smoked salmon bagel is divine. The salad that comes with it is dressed to perfection. We managed to arrive before the lines formed so be prepared to wait if you arrive past Noon. Service is not rushed either. They kindly held our bags at the front. Wish I purchased some coffee to take home. We hope to come back- thank you!!

Le Cartet Resto Boutique was buy far one of the most memorable "brunch" dining experiences. Wonderful play on classic breakfast. We enjoyed poached eggs, orange hollandaise and duck confit with a large bowl of Cafe au Lait. Fast, Friendly, Efficient. Wonderful spot in old Montréal for breakfast/brunch and more. Their boutique has all sorts of wonderful food items.

Came as a group of 7 and the guy serving us was incredibly rude. We were visiting from Ottawa and he kept making snide comments like how French must just be too hard for us english (he made this comment to a woman who was born and raised in Montreal not realizing that she was in fact French). Ignored us when the restaurant was empty. Made comments to his coworkers about us not thinking that we could understand French. We had a diverse group so unsure if that had something to do with it but he ruined the meal. If looking for a brunch in Montreal I suggest going elsewhere.

We loved this place! Great breakfast options, very nice staff and they also have prepared food to go. There’s also a pretty little store with chocolate from all over the world and maple products. We had to go back!

I thought this place was going to be excellent after seeing so many good reviews but my experience was underwhelming. The food was just so plain tasteless. The dish was pretty but that's about it. Go somewhere else for good food.

We went to this cafe for brunch . It was recommended to us by our hotel . I had the lovely granola and Berry bowl it was delicious . My husband ordered the salmon bagel he said it was very nice . Lovely coffee too . The prices are a little high but the food is very good .

I found Le Cartet in a Youtube video by vagabrothers. Based on their recommendation, we tried Le Cartet for brunch our first day in Montreal. We ended up having brunch there four days in a row! Great service & AMAZING food. We'll definitely be back.

We found out about Le Cartet on YouTube, back in 2018. On that trip we ended up having brunch there four days in a row. We’re back in Montreal and we have had brunch there two out of the past three days. Going again tomorrow. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Great service and AMAZING food. If you’re ever in Montreal you must give this place a try.

Le Cartet is our favorite spot in Montreal. Wait a minute, it's one of our favorite spots in the world! Everything is spot on perfect from the minute you walk in the door. Food, service, and value are all exceptional. Well done, Le Cartet, well done!

Love. Love. Love. This place! Had breakfast/brunch here 3 out of 4 days spent in Montreal. ( should have been 4) Quality, consistency, great service, fresh and creative food. Nice selection of culinary gifts for friends. Best of Montreal!
