This is a very well managed inn which is rather deceptive from the outside. Our room was immaculate and very well appointed with microwave and fridge. Breakfast was served in the large clean kitchen area and was excellent with choice of hot or cold cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt and hard boiled eggs. Juice and coffee too and I like that they use real dishes not disposable. I would recommend to anyone travelling to this part of Manitoba.

Having stayed at the Royal York (Toronto) in January, staying at the Wilderness Inn was an adventure.
One floor motel, with only 5 other guests. Fairly new place so nothing was outdated. Complimentary continental breakfast was decent considering there was only one restaurant in town.
Surprisingly I would stay here again.

I spent two nights at the Wilderness Inn in Deloraine. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory. Great place to stay when in the south western Manitoba area.

Modular motel, similar to work camps. This is now called the Morningstar Inn. There is only someone there from 7am to noon. Otherwise you have to call a number to get a lockbox code for a room key. The room was basic and clean. They say there is a hot breakfast but this was not the case. Got a stale cinnamon bun. Wifi worked well. Very basic tv channels on a 28” tv. Shower was good. Overpriced.
