This was our first stop on a 10-day trip to Italy. We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Marina Riviera and really enjoyed our stay. Our family of 4 rented two rooms and we were situated directly across from one another which was convenient and appreciated. The stay were extremely accommodating and willing to help assist us with dinner recommendations and reservations. Both rooms were updated, clean and spacious. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and small snacks the first night which were a nice touch. The complimentary breakfast and service were spectacular. Location is also great - away from the actual city center to reduce noise at night, but close enough to walk to the city center in 5 minutes. Thank you to all who made our stay memorable! Highly recommend.

We came here for our 20th wedding anniversary and the staff of this lovely hotel made it such a special celebration. I'm sure the room we booked was not as fabulous as the one we were allocated (room 62), we were given a bottle of prosecco and generally looked after beautifully. The hotel was in a great location - a five minute walk to Amalfi (on the road, so bring some light coloured clothing to be more visible) and with an amazing view from the terrace.

I can't really think of many things to find fault with - the staff were attentive, thoughtful and kind (not to mention tolerant of my Italian and happy to chat), the breakfast was fabulous (I would kill for another piece of that Amalfi Lemon Cake), the room were immaculately kept with lovely toiletries (some maintenance needed but really this did not detract from our stay), the pool was lovely and it just felt like the loveliest place to be. We had some great restaurant recommendations from the front desk staff as we didn't eat in (the menu looked great but it was very pricey). The only suggestion I would have is that a mirror in the room would be great (perhaps attached to the inside of the wardrobe door) so that I could do my hair etc when my husband was in the bathroom. And more of that cake!

There's a good hairdrier, plenty of electrical points (no USB ports but what looked like a UK plug socket), bath robes, slippers, flip flops and a very useful cloth bag, plus shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion. Topped off by the unicorn like FACE CLOTH! Which was amazing. The bed was comfy and we needed the blanket provided.

Grazie a tutti, ritornaremmo for l'anniversario d'argento! Non vedo l'ora...

Quiet, charming, classic. This historic hotel caters to sophisticated travelers and those looking for a peaceful environment to truly experience Italian culture. Staff are superior in every way (attentive, fluent, friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking) and are more like family after many years of memories here. Raffaele who has worked here for almost 20 years is the epitome of hospitality and is undeniably the heart of the hotel. The accommodations are immaculate, bright and there is a panoramic view of the sea and town. Breakfast is the best in the whole Amalfi Coast.
(This is not a suitable hotel for children, animals or party goers which are all welcome and appropriate in the Main Street)

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon while we stayed in Amalfi and it was beyond wonderful. Our room was beautiful and clean with amazing views and I was obsessed with the massive size of the bath towels! We had a wonderful breakfast every morning sitting on the outdoor patio overlooking the beach and sea. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, making us reservations and setting anything else up that we needed help with. The location is perfect, walking distance to everything you want in town, the duomo, the bus, the ferry, the beach and the best restaurants. The pool area is also very nice, never crowded and wonderful service up there. We loved the boutique aspect of the hotel but still received 5 star service. We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting amalfi.

We are 2 nights into a 4 night stay at Hotel Marina Riviera and so far it has been absolutely fantastic and one of the top hotels we’ve ever stayed in! We arrived having had some issues with the third party company we booked with and the original room we booked had been changed, we explained this to the staff on arrival and they went above and beyond to accommodate and we are staying in the most beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the bay of Amalfi- we can’t thank you enough! The staff on Reception were incredible and service has been faultless - all staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The room is just stunning as are all areas of the hotel. The breakfast is great and again the staff are very attentive. The rooftop pool is perfect with plenty sunbeds to chose from- just what you need! The location of the hotel is excellent and it’s only a short walk to the restaurants and cafes. We already don’t want to leave this amazing hotel and will definitely be back... Thank you so much!

My husband and I stayed about 2 weeks for our honeymoon! The ENTIRE staff is absolutely amazing and so courteous! The front desk helped plan multiple excursions for us, which made us feel so safe. We did a lemon tour and spent the day with Sal and his family including their adorable farm dog Pocho, a private cooking class with Sal and his family, a couples massage with their sister hotel, and even a private boat tour to Capri with Jackboats.it. Francesco was an amazing boat guide !!! The ENTIRE hotel is spotless!!! The staff works hard daily and they clean 24/7. We were provided with complimentary breakfast daily and at night the staff provided us clean towels/ robes if needed and complimentary waters and treats! They were very accommodating too and even upgraded us to a larger suite!!! We can’t thank them enough! We highly recommend their hotel ! :) :)

We visited Amalfi for 5 days in July 2021. We are a family with two children in their early 20s. What a wonderful hotel. The service and support from the front desk was perfect. The staff was made several recommendations that were all perfect for what we were looking for. The hotel was spotless-clean and beautifully decorated. The hotel rooms were spacious for Italy and beds were comfortable. We selected this hotel by reading reviews and were just so pleased with reality being even better. The food at breakfast was very nice and we had dinner and cocktails one evening with a spectacular view. Highly recommend this hotel.

A Georgeous high end Hotel in Amalfi. The location is incrdible just a 5 minute walk to the center of town this gem of a hotel that sits on a hill offers amazing views of the coast. the service is fantastic and the concierge can arrange a car for any location you need to go. The pool is a nice place to catch up from a long day of tourning before you head out to dinner.

What a view from this beautiful hotel! The staff at breakfast/bar area were fantastic! We came as a couple during the start of off season and while there was only about 18 rooms booked out of 60 or so, we still had great service and friendly smiles. We paid about $250 a night but during peak dates they said it would go up to $1k a night. Not sure hotel would be worth that, but all in all you can’t be the location or the views! Stunning!

Johnny wrote a review May 2023
We stayed at this hotel in May 2023 for 4 nights, this is a nice hotel how ever the £500 a night price is only for the view and if the hotel was not overlooking the sea it would be £200 a night, We had been in the hotel for 3 nights before a menu appeared on the table and we realised you could order a cooked breakfast, this was a little bit disappointing as the buffet breakfast is not all that. The cleaners cupboard was directly outside our room and they did not try and keep the noise at a reasonable level at 8am each day, the hotel has tiled floors and you could hear everything. The rooms are very small with small windows with no space to put your bags, stands were provided for the bags but you did not have space to put them anywhere, the bed was very hard and not the usual standard for a 4 star hotel. On the plus side the staff were polite, the hotel was clean and the maid kept the room very clean and tidy.

We took a private car service up there. The hotel can arrange one for you too! We took a taxi back. In hindsight probably would have just done a taxi both ways as it would have been cheaper.
