This is a well-run spot with nary a thing to complain about. Front desk fellow was knowledgeable ,room was large and clean and the breakfast was excellent. The one thing I might do if I was the boss is put a night light in the washroom.

We stayed here again while visiting family. This is the only place we'll stay even though its a bit expensive. The staff just make it such a nice experience every time we've been here. Despite covid and the breakfast buffet being closed we still got a very good breakfast. The room is clean and a good touch was after it was cleaned they put a seal on the door to ensure you that no one has entered your room. It really is a nice casual place to relax. We will always stay here when visiting our family.

Somewhat hesitated before booking Hampton Inn Napanee because of some negative reviews regarding this hotel. Decided to give it a try because it is located between Kingston and Prince Edward County, the two places we would visit. Check in can be done through mobile phone and also enter the room by mobile phone which means totally no contact with front desk staff. In percon check in and traditional room card still available though. Room looks little bit dated, probably due to it's color scheme. The free breakfast is very basic (bread, oatmeal, ham, eggs, fruit...) and they tried to make some changes every day which is appreciated. Wifi fast and no problem. Walmart is next door so it is very convenient in case need to buy something. This is a good hotel for a few day's stay

The staff are very friendly, the room very comfortable, the breakfast buffet is excellent and the price is reasonable. We'll stay there again. Also, the location is handy to get to from the 401 yet there was no noise to be heard when we were in the room.

The hotel staff, both manager/front desk and housekeeping and breakfast employees regularly greeted us with a smile and a great attitude. The room was clean and the housekeeping level was flexible accommodating the guest's requirements with Covid cases still around. We would not hesitate to return for another visit. There are restaurants in the immediate area, one just across a private road.

This location is convieniney to the 401 with many eateries nearby. The town of Napanee is nice with many places to shop or just browse downtown.
We stay here for work purposes that limit an otherwise longer commute daily. The staff at this location is excellent and is always eager to make sure the stay is hassle free and accommodating as possible. Nothing extraordinary but it’s the people that make it the place.

We chose hotel based on name figuring quality would be great. We encouraged other family to stay at the same hotel as us. We were quickly disappointed. Mold in shower grout and bathroom sink, amenities provided in the room were not consistent in every room (we had things in our room my mother in-law didn't have). Our cousins closet door broke as soon as he opened it when we arrived, the hot tub jets didn't work the entire time (every staff acted like it was a shock and they didn't know about it- over 3 days still not fixed), the pool chemicals were so strong a few of us actually got chemical burns.
100% satisfaction guaranteed is crap. When we told the front desk about the issues we got well they are just starting renovations. - no heads up of renovations prior to arrival. We were in town for a funeral and we wanted something nice. We were embarrassed to recommend it.
We heard a guy telling the front desk he had been there a week and his room has never been cleaned. (Sign in rooms they clean every other day). He asked several days in a row for extra towels and his room to be cleaned and still not been done. He was told it was on the housekeeping list yesterday. But still not done.
On the positive the breakfast was good and the hotel was quiet at night.

>30 people were stranded in the Christmas storm. The Hampton Inn opened its doors to all of us to sit in safety in the lobby as it had no rooms was full during the declared State of Emergency. They provided us with hot drinks, toast and peanut butter etc. Karen, the front desk staff couldn’t have been nicer!

Even with the Covid regulations more effort could have been made here for the breakfast. It was just cereals and fruit and boiled eggs. There was no reason there couldn’t have been some hot food (as we took it back to our room) or even the waffle maker switched on. This just felt like laziness rather than safety.

We have stayed at this hotel at least 7 times for hockey tournaments. The rooms are a good size, clean and comfortable. Staff is very nice and the breakfast was great. Only issue we have had every time we’ve stayed is either there isn’t the proper ventilation in the pool area or too much chemicals in the pool and hot tub. We have had sick kids with coughing issues and throwing up even kids that went to the hospital with the respiratory issue from the pool. I don’t get to choose where we stay with the team or I would choose another location for this issue. I have contact the hotel and the chain and it has never changed. If your not worried about using the pool area I would highly recommend the hotel but if a pool is important I’d look elsewhere

Thank you for taking the time to fill out a review! I'm sorry to hear you have had issues with the pool area, by going from our records all tests that are done have showed the correct levels in both the spa and the pool, actually show low at times as that space is not used very often. We are checked regularly by the local health department and all records are available to the public and can be seen online at kflaph.ca/inspections. Again thank you for your kind words about rooms, breakfast and staff I will make sure to pass them on!
