Nestled near Times Square and Broadway, Radio City Apartments garners praise for its stellar location, putting guests at the heart of New York's vibrancy with easy subway access. While the hotel offers a good value stay with appreciated kitchenette amenities, some guests have remarked on the compactness and dated style of the rooms.
The staff's warm service contributes to the hotel's charming atmosphere, though service inconsistencies have been noted. Cleanliness is generally acclaimed, yet occasional complaints of noise and pests in rooms surface.

Apartment is a bit dated decoration wise but when in New York you're really never in it but location is everything....
We had a 2 bedroom apartment and the sofa bed for 5 of us which was great a full double and 2 queen size beds. Beds very comfortable, plenty of towels and a small but brilliant little kitchen with full 4 ring cooker, microwave, large fridge freezer, kettle, toaster cutlery
the location here is everything just around the corner from time square. Subway at your doorstep . Deli on the doorstep. Bar and restraint on the doorstep 5 minute walk to Rockefeller 5 minutes to 5th Ave Just around the corner from the bus tours could not fault this place for location, price and room facilities. staff were friendly and very helpful.

We arrived early to the Radio City Apartments, and Javier told us our apartment was not ready, which we completely understood. He offered to store our luggage so that we could get on with our day, which we did.
When we got back after 3 PM, we checked in and were given keys to an apartment. When we arrived at the apartment, we realized it was a handicap-equipped apartment. We immediately went back downstairs to request another apartment. Javier was wonderful. He did not have another apartment with a king bed, but he did have one with two queen beds, which was fine with us.
We were impressed when we stepped into the apartment. The living room had a double sofa bed, two end tables, side chair, round tall cube, round table, and 4 chairs. There is only one closet in the apartment, which is in the living room (without a door). The kitchen is compact and in the living room. There was an apartment-size refrigerator, microwave, toaster (in the cabinet), 4-burner gas stove, oven, and sink. There were enough plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, etc. for four people. We had two minor issues – one was a wobbly dining table and the other was a clogged toilet. Within minutes of us calling the front desk, Alex from maintenance was knocking on our door and fixed us right up. Now, that is real service! There is construction going on around the building, so you do hear some noise. It was not a problem for us, as I had my sound machine with us. The location is perfect to visit nearby sites as well the fact that there are two different subway stops (for different subway lines) close by. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back again.

We caught a great deal and booked 3 nights (Sunday to Wednesday) here for $130 a night. At this price it was a great bargain. We added a night at $280 a night which was a little steep. Location is amazing. We had a large one bedroom with two double beds that were reasonably comfortable , TV and dresser in the bedroom. Living room, kitchen area had a sofa bed with a TV. Sofa bed would be fine for kids but not adults cause Mattress was pretty thin. They have daily room cleaning available we did not use it. Apartment was equipped with stove, microwave, fridge and small dining room table. Had a nice walk in shower. They arranged for a car service to Newark airport. Cost is steep at $100 but worth it if you have limited mobility. Time to airport was 30 minutes but could take as long as 1 hour. We flew out at 1:15 PM to avoid travel during rush hour. Great breakfast place called Toasties is 2 doors down

It's an okay property if you know what you're going into, but the pictures do not match the rooms. I booked the room with the kitchenette. Instead, I got a small dresser with some dishware on it, a fridge with some garbage still in it (expired soy sauce maybe?), a sponge, and some previously opened dish soap.
The bathroom was a bit cramped, but the best part of the room. There was no stove, only a minifridge (a full fridge was pictured), and no microwave. If you planned on staying here and getting groceries, call ahead to ensure your room has all of the amenities you expect as the pictures don't represent the truth.
When trying to resolve all of these issues, they offered to move me into a larger room, however, when I went to work out the logistics, they told me that the room would still not match what I was offered.
For similar pricing, better hotels are available for what I received. If you can get what they promised, stay here.

First of all, my advice is do not book the studio with two double beds. Its a shoe box. Book the deluxe studio or the one bedroom apartment. Even if you book the deluxe studio, be aware there is no closet or place for you to store your suitcases. You will have to keep them standing next to your bed because there is no place for them. We booked a room for a couple and a twelve years old child and we thought it was too small for the three of us in the room. The beds were not spacious. The apartment was clean and the location is right by Times Square and the deluxe studio has a kitchenette with refrigerator, stove and a small round table with two chairs, which can be very useful.

My wife and I stayed for about two weeks in April-May and got upgraded to a a two bedroom apartment from the one bedroom that we had booked (we also got an early check-in too). The apartment was clean, had a decent kitchenette (could do with more utensils and cutlery like wine glasses though) and while the rooms were small, there was ample space to move around. The staff was quite pleasant. There’s also a laundromat in the basement though we didn’t use it. It is a bit noisy given the location and construction activity that was going on next door. The rooms look a bit aged as well. But the location is super convenient and the rate that we got in April was great value for money. And that was the best part!

We are a family of 4 with 2 teens and stayed in a two bed apartment. The children were happy to share a double room and the adults shared the 'single' which has a bed big enough for two! Having our own kitchen and sitting room was ideal as we could save money by making our own meals. There is also a good takeaway breakfast place next door called Toasties and plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and although older than some, has been recently renovated so the facilities were modern. I would put it at the 3/4 star level. The location is close to Times Square and a lot of the main sights were within walking distance for us. Top of the Rock is literally 5.minutes away. The staff are very friendly and helpful plus they stored our luggage for free on checkout day which not all hotels do. There were no hidden 'resort fees' and checkout was easy. One minor issue was that the Aircon was loud but I give this place 5 stars as that seems to be normal wherever we have been!

A great value, especially considering the location. The appearance and decor of the rooms may be somewhat dated, but the property is quite clean and one typically visits NYC they don't spend a ton of time just hanging in their hotel room and to enjoy its ambience. Budget hotel rooms in Manhattan usually leave much to be desired, but considering that you're practically in the heart of Times Square, I can't imagine there's a better value to be had. Good wifi, full kitchenettes (standard-sized fridge/freezer, microwave, sink, stove) in each room, comfortable beds, the only negative I can really think of is that their two elevators are a bit slow.

I booked this room on Priceline and the room they gave me was incredibly small. Besides that, it was definitely old and run down. Bed was not comfortable either. This is a 2.5 star hotel at best. At the very least it was clean and in a good location but I would never stay there again. How this got a certificate of excellence is beyond me. I have stayed at dozens of hotels in New York and this is one of the worst considering the supposed star rating.

Really impressed with location, staff and cleanliness of these apartments. Cleaning staff were meticulous with freshly made beds and towels every single day. Front of house guys really helpful and a real friendly vibe throughout. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else whilst in New York! Thanks for a really memorable stay.
