It traveling with a mixed group, be aware that the glass divider between the toilet and the room is not opaque. In fact, the room we stayed in had roller blinds with holes designed into it so you definitely do not have much privacy. Plus the glass divider gives you a jolt of light when someone uses the toilet in the middle of the night. To be fair, the Remm is really catered for solo business travelers so just be aware before booking.
Pros: right next to Akihabara station and easy to find. Decent breakfast. The Japanese set meal is good value
Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. we were checked in quite quickly. This hotel is by no means big, each floor is basically a hallway with maybe about 20 rooms or so.
We booked a Twin double room which was quite spacious and modern looking. It had comfortable beds and pillows, a nice rainfall shower and decent Bidet toilet. House keeping and front desk was kind enough to knock and call our room to ask if we needed our room cleaned when we were starting our day late.
This location is Prime for a night out in Akihabara. its really close to the station with really good food options nearby and has both the Yamanote Line and JR chuo line to get to Shinjuku in 30 minutes or less. And Tokyo station and Ueno station is only 2 stops away for quick access to the Shinkansen.

The room was clean, well furnished (even had a massage chair) and spacious (by Tokyo standards). The toilet areas were surprisingly large with 3 separate areas for shower, toilet as well as sink. There is a rain shower as well. My small gripe would be that there are no hooks at all in the bathroom. The shower mechanism, though works well in remembering your ideal temperature setting, but you may accidentally turn on the rain shower when turning off the normal shower mode.
As we were focused on just touring Akihabara, this couldn't be a better location. It is right at the most happening part of the place, as well as literally on top of the train station. It was easy for us to get from (and back to) Narita airport. There are several convenience stores around so no shortage of supplies. Also, there is a Starbucks just below. The breakfast is package is actually a tie up with the Portal Cafe below the hotel. You could actually just skip the package and just get the breakfast directly from the cafe itself if you choose to. This would give you more options.
One thing though, is that taxis have a problem stopping right in front of the hotel as it is a single 1-way road. This hotel is definitely intended more for train travelling. If you need to take a cab, the station below has 2 taxi stands conveniently located. Taxis come very frequently.
Note that we were very focused on just touring Akihabara. We did not look for lavish hotel facilities, nor did we expect any 5 star service. We just wanted to have a comfortable base and move in and out conveniently.
We will definitely stay here again when we next visit.
Would definitely stay here again!

This room offers a massage chair in the room so that was a nice touch. There was a set of robes, desk, small fridge with free water, a TV, a phone, a window with shades, and a full sized bed. The bed was comfortable. The shower had a rain shower and hand held showerhead. The air conditioner worked well. The elevators were quick but a bit weird as they always stopped on the 6th floor, whether you wanted it to or not. The staff was pleasant. We had an uneventful stay.
I used to stay here more than 7 times. This hotel is my first choice for business hotel in Tokyo. Just less than 1 minute from Akihabara station exit, you will be able to sit back, relax, take a shower immediately after your long day.
The staffs are always nice.
You can find convenient store, restaurant and coffee shop around this.
A massage chair is also good.
Standard size for room in Tokyo.
And the most important thing is adjustable air condition in the room.

I’ve stayed at this hotel 5 times since 2015 and as I keep coming back it’s obvious it’s perks are great but a few watch outs
1 - this hotel is a business hotel so the rooms are quite small. This is expected of both hotel rooms in Tokyo and more so of business hotels so don’t be shocked when you turn up and there’s not lots of room for activities. I will say as business hotels go, they use the space really well.
2 - being small it means you will hear what’s going on when your travel buddy is in the bathroom.
3 - the beds are Japanese hard, which is a lot harder than western hard. You’ll find this in almost all business hotels.
My biggest issue is that time hadn’t been kind and the wear and tear is starting to show. In our room we had both ripped and stained carpet as well as a big stain behind the mirror. I’m guessing Covid slowed them down and hoping over time they’ll put money back into the hotel but for now I have to admit I was a little disappointed and kept thinking the 2015 staff from my first trip wouldn’t have been happy with where the hotel was at in 2023.
I’ll absolutely stay again and would recommend it based on location but I really hope when I get back in the future the wear and tear has been sorted.

The room was compact but had everything I needed as a solo traveller. The massage chair was a nice touch, and I enjoyed the provided breakfasts.
While there is often a delay waiting for an elevator to travel to and from your room, it was a negligible inconvenience.
I visited the hotel in March 2023.
