One of the busiest area in New York. Also probably the most crowded tourist spot. Home to major restaurants, hotels, stores, and the best theater district in the world. Definitely a happening place which is great for people watching.

As a tourist you MUST go to Times Square when visiting NYC, I mean it when I say it! I have to say is better in person than in pictures, I just felt amazed by the leds of the giant screens. Of course as it is a very touristic place, there will be a lot of people, like, ALWAYS, even more when you go visit in the night (but you must go in the night to see the led screens) You will also find a lot of marvelous stores, like the M&M’s and Disney’s Stores, or the Hard Rock Cafe NYC. You can also see some people in costumes trying to take a picture with you, Don’t do it! they will only take a photo with your own camera and it will cost you 20 dollars!!! At the end, I wouldn’t recommend going more than once or twice to Times Square during your trip, otherwise you’ll have to pass through all the people. You can take very aesthetic photos there! just WOW!

I’ve always loved Times Square. But travelling with young kids can be difficult here because of the severe lack of public washrooms. This problem completed derailed our plans and put a major damper on our experience. We wound up having to stand in line at Krispy Kreme for about 10 minutes, just to make a purchase so that we could use 1 of their 2 washrooms. Then we stood in the washroom line for another 25 mins. NOT a good experience when you have someone with a little bladder that’s about to explode. Other than that major flaw, it’s a great time!

Times Square is the busiest place we've ever been! So much to see and hear and do. We went a few times at different times of the day. Craziest was 9.30pm on the Friday night. So many people! The Times Square lights made it feel like the middle of the day. Amazing.

Times Square is always entertaining whether its for meeting the characters, eating, drinking or just soaking in the sights, sounds and lights. No NYC trip is complete without it. Its actually the first place to visit.

As a native New Yorker, I always avoided Times Square (except on New Years). Was delighted to see the road blocked off, seating and plenty of room to move. Great place to take photos. Beware of the roaming cartoon characters that want money to take a photo with them.

Times Square is definitely worth a visit if visiting NYC. The vibrant atmosphere and overall experience was priceless. Lots to see and do there and also felt very safe even though the streets were massively overcrowded. Times Square comes alive at night! Highly recommended!

Yes it is busy, touristy and dirty but this is New York. Iconic and a must on a trip to New York. Night is best with the billboards illuminated but even in the day it is busy. Just walk, buy junk souvenirs, shop, get a bite to eat and enjoy one of the most famous places in the world.

We walked around Time Square on our visit to New York City. The place was booming with visitors. It was interesting to see where the ball drops on New Years Eve. Did some shopping at the M&M store and Hershey’s

There is nothing quite like Time square. Great people watching and interesting high calorie food. Lol. The subway is close and you have to visit the Stardust dinner. It was the best meal and entertainment i experienced.
