Ample space for family of 4-5. Kids liked the bunk beds and sofa bed. Our ground floor unit was handicap accessible, so big bathroom and kitchen spaces but we lost some dining and living space compared to friends who had an upstairs unit. A bar of hand soap, roll of paper towels, a few trash bags, a dishwasher pod and a bit of dish soap were all provided as well as dishes, flatware, and utensils. Fridge had ice and filtered H2O on the door which was a welcome surprise.

When we went to check in our unit was not ready (check-in is stated as 1700) and they could not estimate when it would be; it hadn’t yet been cleaned. We were able to get in to ours around 1830 or 1900.

Check out is stated to be 1100, but when I went to grab my last bag at 1055, the key card had already been deactivated, as was our friends’. A call to check in staff resulted in being told cards are tuned off promptly at 1100 and we’d have to go all the way to them to them to get them reactivated. After noting it wasn’t yet 1100, they agreed to have security come by to swipe me in. The gentleman was very pleasant, apologizing for the 15 minute delay (it was cold out!), opened my door, and I was able to grab my bag and get out of there. I wonder how many times he has to do that in a morning. A warning at check-in that cards are turned off promptly at 1100 or even earlier, would have alleviated some frustration.

We took advantage of a great deal for Vermonters to stay and ski. Amazing price includes lift tickets for family of 4 for three days. The condo was lovely and comfortable. We had our own entrance and no one else was in the whole building unit, so it felt completely Covid safe. Timberline 1-bedroom condo was two levels, and a great space for a family of 4. Kids can share the pull-out couch, and we also brought a camping mattress just in case and there was room for that. Nice little deck, kitchen had most of what we needed including a dishwasher (although not a wine opener! But we got one from the hotel).
Our unit was not quite close enough to walk to the slopes, but it was an easy 2-minute drive.
We already booked another weeked to head back, so fun!

We stayed in a one bedroom Timberline Condo (Number 4743). Initially, we were pretty impressed with the decor and the finishings around the unit. However, once we settled in, we noticed some things that were a little odd. The condo is on 2 levels with the bedroom downstairs. The only bath is up on the main floor so not very convenient if you need it in the middle of the night. The lower level was roughed in for a bath but that was never finished. Also the bed was 2 twins pushed together instead of a King. We still thought it was nice but we own condos ourselves and wonder what the owners were thinking?

We stayed 2 years ago in Timberline condos and loved our 2 bedroom condo. It was all on one level, perfect for families with young kids. So we were eager to stay again but this time they gave us a 2 bedroom townhouse style. There’s one bedroom on the ground floor and the other is on the third floor and my kids are afraid to sleep 2 floors above us. So we are all going to sleep in one room with no one getting any sleep. Perfect set up for adults staying together or older kids/teenagers. Also all the kitchen cabinets in the townhouse unit are very high. So none of my kids can reach them. The other unit had a lot of lower cabinets. And the other one I think had a tv in at least one of the bedrooms. This unit does not. There one in the living room and another in a hallway almost so it’s very awkward. They should really put thought into how they assign these condos. Very disappointed.

Disappointing - condo has very little basics for having meals in the condo. No pot holders, dish towels, measuring cups, salt/pepper, coffee filters. The bathroom smells like sewage and we will be letting management know (they have been unresponsive so far, we also asked for towels). This is our third time here and the condo is not a charm.

We travel a lot so I look for helpful tips in these reviews and thought I'd pass on what I learned staying here this weekend. This is our 2nd family trip to jay peak. The 1st was 3yrs ago and we stayed at Hotel Jay which we loved being a family of 4 traveling with my in laws we each had private bedrooms and bathrooms with huge kitchen and living area. Bedrooms had tvs too. Kitchen fully stocked including keurig. Loved the convenience of being in the same building as the Waterpark because locker rentals are $14 per day and having to change wet kids to take them in the cold to drive back to our condo just took a little fun out of the experience. This time we're staying at timberline cottages. We have a 2 story place with 3rd floor queen bedroom, 2nd floor main living area, kitchen, bath, basement king bedroom with bath. It's brand new in amenities ( flat screen, granite kitchen, fireplace, balcony ) but wish we knew ahead of time there are no tvs in bedrooms, no keurig, and whoever chooses the king room in basement should be prepared for noise as anyone walking above you in main living area sounds like they are going to fall through ceiling. It's a loud cracking sound with every foot step. On good note there is full size washer and dryer so we liked being able to throw wet bathing suits in to dry since there is nowhere to hang them. Saw a prior rewiew about WiFi and not being able to connect but 4 of us have had no trouble at all connecting on the first try. Pizza in hotel jay was great and even had gluten free which we tried and loved.

We stayed at Jay Peak in a Timberline Condo for two nights with a group of 4 adults and 3 kids in late April. The condo was spacious enough except for the fact that 1 child did not have a bed, it in my opinion would make more sense to have bunk beds in one of the bedrooms. Overall it was a decent stay I will list pros and cons below.

Pros:
Very close to the Pumphouse.
Kitchen was nice, so we didn't have to eat every meal out.
Beds were comfortable.
Quiet.

Cons:
In my opinion overpriced.
Condo was very hot we actually had to open windows to cool it down.
Not enough seating in the living room and seating was uncomfortable.
Check out was 10 am which is too early in my opinion, so 2 nights is really more like 42 hours.

We arrived at 1300 and we were advised that check in was at 1700. Room was not ready well past 1700 and staff cannot tell us when the condo will be available. Not very proactive in solving our problem.

Recently stayed in the condos with my husband and three kids. We stayed in the 1 bedroom and there was plenty of room for all of us. We were disappointed that check-in was two hours late, we had three hungry and grumpy kids by the time our condo was ready. No apology or compensation was offered. The condo has lots of storage and is very clean. Important to note that there is no coffee, toiletries or laundry pods. Dish soap is provided. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed all that the resort has to offer for kids of all ages.
