This place is perfect! Is not the fanciest but is perfect!! Went with my husband and had all we needed to have a perfect weekend. We went for a baseball game but had the time to chill by the pool/beach area. Staff was super nice and making sure their guests have what they need! Will be back!

We had the pleasure staying at this family owned Resort. I cant express on how much we enjoyed staying at this resort. The staff makes you feel like your family once you step through the door at check in. They have 3 resorts all right next to each other and all offer different ammedeties at each which you can use when you stay at anyone of the 3 resorts. My kids loved fishing off the docks (they have rods you can use), playing at the very clean and well maintained beach/sand area, the cotton candy machine and playing with all the family friendly activities. What really stands out is when you enter the lobby of the resort you get blown away by the 1950's theme. We will definitely be back.

Best check-in ever! Sheldon's outgoing personality and sense of humor set the bar high for welcoming guests to the Plaza Beach Resorts, or any resort for that matter. All the staff, from the maintenance man cleaning the grounds, the housekeepers cleaning the rooms, and the other office staff were eager to greet you everyday, making you feel like an ol' friend and a regular customer at their resort. Your needs were their main concern and they want you to have the best stay possible! We absolutely loved staying by the bay. During the mornings and evenings watching the wildlife, especially all the different birds, was a nice addition to a relaxing weekend. The amenities; happy hour, beach bar, volleyball, ping pong, shuffleboard, corn hole, and other games around the resort are a very nice touch. We're glad we chose this resort from all the other choices we had for this last minute getaway, and we look forward to staying there again on our next trip to St. Pete Beach.

My wife and I stayed only 1 night and didn’t partake in any of the resorts offerings other than our room. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and clean. The curtain rod for the shower was covered in rust, but other than that we were very happy.
The service at the resort was top notch. We arrived earlier than expected and called ahead to let the front desk know. They worked with the housekeeping team to get our room ready before the official check in time.
More impressively, upon departing we headed to downtown St Pete only to realize we had forgotten items behind in fridge. A quick call to front desk was all it took for them to contact housekeeping and collect the items. We were able to pick them up at the front desk on our timeframe later that day!

Terrific. What a gem! Our stay was wonderful and part of what made it wonderful was the welcoming friendliness of all the staff members. Their attention to detail and their anticipation of guests' needs and wants were obvious. We stayed in an efficiency room in the Bayview just steps from the marina and boat docks. The wildlife watching right from our private deck was so relaxing. I think I enjoyed this more than being on the beachside because of our relaxing view and ground floor view of the bay so close up. We had easy access to the beach at one of the three other properties, but I don't think we got the best accomodations being on the marina side. Something else that I admire about this resort is their commitment to water conservation and recycling. Their efforts are commendable.

Room was clean and had a cooktop stove, sink, full-size refrigerator, kitchen table and 2 chairs. The beds were extremely comfortable and both had 3 pillows. Our room was on the bottom floor and we literally walked right out to the water. Our view was the exact view that is on the website photo. The office is located just up the street on the other side of the road. There is a tiki bar on the beach that was so fun and the bartender was great. Volleyball was being played on the beach daily . Everything on the grounds were clean and well-kept. The bathroom in the actual resort office is something everyone needs to see all the walls the floor and the ceiling are done in pennies and it’s absolutely beautiful the staff were amazing and easy to work with check in and out extremely easy. I will definitely be back to this resort! There is also a washer and dryer for all guests to use right on site. One of the highlights was a gentleman that lived across the bay came up to our pier picked us up on his boat and took us out for a cruise for several hours it was absolutely amazing.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay this week. The staff all the way from the folks in the front office to the staff maintenance team have all been EXTREMELY attentive and friendly. Our group occupied 4 rooms this week and we never felt like we were far apart. My only request would be to have a wheelchair on site in case there is an emergency. My best friend broke her ankle in the sand on Wednesday afternoon and a wheelchair would have been a lifesaver. Nonetheless, we couldn't say enough nice things about our stay this week. Our kids all had a great time and we felt safe with them here. Thank you to everyone on staff for taking care of us this week. ❤❤❤

I stayed for one night and got to the hotel to check in right after noon. All of the front desk staff were extremely friendly and our room was ready right away. You get one parking pass which can be used at all three properties. This also gives all-day parking access on the day you check out so you can continue enjoying the beach. They had a happy hour in the lobby from 4-5 pm with free beer and wine which was a great perk! Room was clean and well-appointed. You can also receive a free welcome gift if you post about your reservation on social media. You can either get 2 free drinks at the bar or a noon check out. We opted for the latter since the bar was closed due to weather. All in all I would definitely consider staying here again considering the ease of everything and the great staff!

I chose this hotel because it has the best of both worlds, the bay & the Gulf. Boy did I make a great choice! We lucked out and got a beautiful ground floor room on the bay with a fenced in patio off the well appointed kitchenette. Waking up to see that bay every morning was breathtaking! Nearby was a swimming pool & huge tiki themed deck where you can fish or watch for dolphins & manatees, dog playground, laundry facilities, giant chess game, and cute cut outs for family picture taking. A short walk aross Gulf Blvd takes you to the Check- In Desk with its 50s themed lobby & daily free beer & wine happy hour! The staff were great & made you feel like family with their "Welcome Home " greetings. I hated to leave & can't wait to go back!

I’ll start by saying this is a MOTEL and not a hotel!!
I’ll start with the good and there are two, location and space of the two bedroom unit I stayed (826)
And the rate was $400 a night !!! This is a two star MOTEL at best.
First you have to walk the length of two football fields to check in
The furniture inside the needs to be burned, not donated but burned. The couch or live seat was dirty and so uncomfortable, very little support. Is better than sitting on the floor but good lord ! How about you guys update it.
The beds squeezed like cheap beds do in a BT the hour motels
If you want coffee in the morning, put on your hiking gear again because you have to go back to check in (2 football fields ) to get it ! And they call it coffee but it’s more like dirty water than coffee.
Yeah it’s safe to say that I would never stay here again !!!

Thank you for your question. Truthfully, all three resorts our of the exact same excellent quality and standards. What you are paying for is the room types and location.
The beachside property, Plaza Beach Hotel rates are a bit higher because it is directly on the beach.
Bayview and Bay Palms Waterfront Resorts are equally compared to the Plaza Beach, however, you have to cross the street to go to the beach. However, those two properties are on the intercoastal water, offing a pool, great waterfront piers, excellent fishing, boat docking etc..
Insider secret: The best value of all three resorts is a Bayfront with Balcony at the Bayview Plaza Waterfront Resort. This room is very similar to the beachside Gulf Front with Balcony but for about half the price. You get a room with a beautiful view and private outside sitting area, without the higher beachside cost. You can enjoy breakfast in the morning on your balcony since the room offers a kitchen, and enjoy watching the sunrise.
