We stayed here for three weeks in January
Staff are pleasant. Site was clean. They are very close together
Enjoyed the pools. We spent most of our time at the family pool as the adult pool is very busy. Park, showers and pools are clean. After rain most of the roads are flooded for days so walking is a challenge. Frustrated with parking at the washrooms by people parking their work trucks days on end. Difficult to back out of our space and meant golf carts parked on lawns as no where to park. Spoke to office twice but nothing was done to stop this. Everyone else follows the rules! Paid for our elderly family to stay over night and they parked in lot as instructed. Don’t know why nothing was done as the truck owners are in their 20s and quite able to walk to parking lot

Robert S wrote a review Dec 2022
The location of this RV Park is great and in general the park is nice. The sites are not the biggest ones and kind of narrow, not much space between sites. Parking can be challenging if the park is more full and if you have a longer vehicle. The worst part is really the concrete where you park your RV. Almost every site has broken concrete, and they are not levelled either. I read in a previous answer to a review, that there would be work done to improve sites, but I can tell you, there is nobody working on sites! We have stayed here about one year ago and we liked it, so we came back. The park hasn't been repaired since last year. Bathrooms are very old but clean, a general face lift would not hurt.

Another issue we have discovered is the laundry part. One place there are three washers and 4 dryers, but only two washers and one dryer were working, the rest had a sign up for days that they are out of service. We do like, that they have front loader LG washing machines but please, maintain them not just collecting money. It would be convenient if there is a money changer in the laundry as the washers/dryers need quarters, you have to go to the front desk and ask for change (was not a problem, just not convenient).

We own a small motel and we know customer service and maintenance of a facility firsthand, this place is not on top of everything and that makes them only average. We hope, the management will see the need of upkeeping the park before everything goes to crumbles.

Depending upon what you are looking for, this KOA can be very pleasant. We stayed in a golf course cabin, which was very nice, however, a little bit pricey. We enjoyed golfing on site, and having a full liquor bar at the shanty. The other campers were over the top friendly. The staff on duty while we were there, was very welcoming as well. We will definitely plan on staying here again

KOA are suppose to be family friendly. This Koa was advertised as such. We took our grandchildren here. The family pool was excluded from all activities very cold.
adult pool is heated very comfortable. with activities no kids allowed there
Staff up front are rude. The park model people are rude. It is like you are staying in a war zone the park models Vs the RV travelers. Will not go back with grandkids

First of all, it was not what was advertised. Upon arrival we were told that the francize was bought out in February and that should have told us something. The advertised "Shanty" was not open 7 days a week and not at all. The golf course was under repair, the adult pool breakfast menu had been reduced to pre-prepare sandwiches, the miniature golf course was pitiful, as were the bocce ball and petanque courts.
On our 1st night it rained, so we decided not to buy the $5.99 bundle of firewood. The next morning the bundle was increased to $10.00. Everytime we asked about the shortfalls, we were told "New Management".
The 3rd morning I had a flat on my bicycle and went over to the store to rent one, only to be told they couldn't be rented (. . . New Management). We never even got a chance to see Lake "O".
In their defense, the showers and restroom facilities were top notch. Rinna and Wendy very patiently listened to our misgivings and were very polite and courteous. Oh, yeah, the shuffleboard courts were the best I've very seen at any campground.
Bottomline: For a KOA the expected standards were just not there. We were very disappointed and left 4 days early. The potential is there, but the "New Management" better step up the pace or the reputation will be ruined for a long time.

The most unprofessional registration process we have experienced. I can't believe KOA allows such behavior from its employee. She even denied us an escort to our site.

Sites are built on a camel's hump, are broken concrete, unlevel and on tight streets. Most ridiculous sight we have had.

Wifi does not exist though advertised falsely as it turns out. Cable is lousy too and you get to pay for both!

The campground is like rush hour with all the golf carts racing around.

Expensive too. Avoid this scam at all costs.

I think it's ridiculous to charge someone 10.70 to visit a friend at the pool for 20 minutes. I informed I was not swimming just visiting. Still same price. The old grouch had the customer service of a hungry hungry badger. I hear from the other locals, this place is going to crap. Whoever bought the Koa are some money grabbing scammers.

We came to this KOA in February 2023 and lived it so much that we had to come back in November.

This is one of the best KOA's that i have stayed at hand down. The staff are friendly. The ground are kept VERY neat. The golf course is beautiful. The driving range is well maintained. The people we've met are all very friendly. The RV services are reliable (water, elec., cable, sewer). The bar (the shanty) is great place to grab a drink. There is live entertainment by the pool (on selected days). There are plenty of activities to join. There are several courts for pickleball, tennis, lawd bowling and some other activities. The bathhouses are clean. It's very quiet at night. You can receive Amazon packages in the mailroom.

Anyway, i could go on and on but i think what says the most is that we are already planning our trip back here next year.

As some of the other reviewers mentioned, it is not perfect but what place is? They do so much here and work so hard to make their customers happy that, to me, this overshadows any small imperfections .

As I said, we are definitely coming back next year which will be our third visit to this KOA. I highly recommend it.

We stop here every year on our way home from KW…..looks like they have cleaned up the palms and grass/weeds compared to our stay in 2021, but was a little disappointed when we requested a deluxe pull through site, compared to a regular site, to find the concrete completely crumbling around the edges…..site was not clean and ready for anyones arrival. Staff in office are a little on the rude side with a bit of an attitude to say the least. Just smile!! I promise you it won’t hurt or give you any ailments.

This KOA requires a phone call for stays over 27 days. There are multiple locations in this park. Each area such as golf course view, fence line, by pool etc has a different rate. The facilities are very nice and each area has a laundry facility.

Have you checked out the KOA website specifically for this location? They usually have all the information you would be looking for about services. Most KOAs we have been to have laundry as this one did. On the site, you can enter potential dates to find out accommodation rates. When we were there last March, there were a lot of long term RVers. Good luck.
