Hotel Victor is a gem of a place in a nicer part of South Beach. The rooms are modern and stylish as are the amenities, and the staff can’t be nicer. Zeynep, George and Jeff made the stay super pleasant. Highly recommend the Victor. I even extended by stay!

Amazing South Beach Location, Fantastic Boutique Hotel and Phenomenal Service. My husband and I booked this hotel as a treat to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. I cannot say enough about how pleased we were with this elegant historic hotel and the kind, gracious staff. Carmen, Guerdine, and Nikita went out of their way to make sure or Anniversary was special. We requested an early check-in and even though the hotel was full the night before, they did everything possible to accommodate our request. While we waited Nikita and the sweet ladies at the front desk stored our bags, directed us the changing rooms, and pool area. While we waited we found a slice of paradise: heated pool, cabanas, water, fresh fruit, warm towels and bar service to make our wait enjoyable. The desk kept us updated on the progress of our early check-in request and notified us when ready. They accommodated us much earlier than the normal 4pm check in. To our surprise they selected a very special room for us with great view and balcony and even arranged for complimentary wine to celebrate or 30th Anniversary. Oh my goodness we were thrilled!! Additionally the hotel offers discounts at restaurants on premises, towels for beach and pool and beach chairs that go over your shoulder like a back pack to make the short walk across the street to the beach easy. Bikes are also offered free to guests for 1.5 hour bike outings on first come first serve basis.( Suggestion: Bring a lock with you if you want to stop, as locks are not provided.) It is rare to experience such service and kindness. I can say hands down Carmen, Guerdine, Nikita and the pool staff made our Anniversary Exceptional! We noticed that the hotel is such a landmark that tours stop to point out the beautiful Art Deco Architecture. I highly recommend the hotel and can’t wait to come back. 5+ Stars!!!

If you never stayed here this hotel is worth the money. Everything is top of the line to me. The staff at the front desk Mikel, Dana, Nikita and Cristina are always friendly and smiling and really go out of there way to accommodate your every need. I love the housekeepers and pool attendants they too are really friendly and do a awesome job. Now for the details this is are first time getting a pool side room on the second floor and I’m in love. I’ve stood in other rooms there but this as been the best by far it’s so worth the money. Imagine just slide open the door and you can walk right into the pool or just relax on the chairs or even just have the view and chill in your room. The hotel offers free bikes to ride, free beach chairs and towels, free bottle water, gym and spa, pool has many lounge chairs and nice they offer fresh fruit and ice water there by the pool as well as fruit and coffee on the main floor. TV has many channels which I love the movies it offers for free so I can relax at night and enjoy. This room had a separate bath tub and shower also had a bench in both areas which was cool. Room equipped with a safe and separate closet with free robes and a hair dryer. Free WiFi works excellent throughout the whole hotel. Overall Hotel Victor has never disappointed me this was my fourth time here and Pool Side Room now is where I will be staying next year again. Thank you to all the staff.

The hotel itself is nice enough. Rooms are large and clean. The bathrooms were well appointed. Our main issue was that the location of our room itself was such that we couldn't open our blinds at all during our stay. The people sitting on their balcony next door could see right into our room. There was no use staying in a hotel that advertised having an ocean view if you need to have the blinds closed your whole stay. The pool area was lovely and never crowded. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and didn't really care about our experience. If we return to South Beach we would definitely find someplace else to say.

Don't get me wrong this is a "nice hotel" but they charge an additional daily Resort Fee which basically inflates substantially the already inflated price and does not provide the amenities of what a “real resort” provides. Yes, it is by the beach, and yes the staff is wonderful but that is where it all ends. There is no drink or food service by the pool. No restaurant in the hotel. Housekeeping is lacking…we had to constantly call the lobby to have our towels replenished after the room was cleaned. I understand we are in the midst a pandemic and staff is short but then it should not advertise as a resort. For the exorbitant amount paid to stay here at the Victor Hotel, we could have stayed at the larger real resorts in the area where our friends stayed, and not have the feeling of buyer’s remorse that we are feeling now.

Our daughter was married recently at the Vizcaya Museum in Miami and we had over 40 wedding guests staying at the hotel for several days. We started working with the Group Sales Manager, Derek Dessero twelve months prior to the wedding date to reserve a large block of rooms and make arrangements for a cocktail reception after our rehearsal dinner and a breakfast the morning after the wedding. Since this was a destination wedding for virtually everyone and more than half of the wedding guests were coming from outside the country, there was a significant amount of coordination with Derek to insure that reservations were booked properly with the correct group rate. In every respect, Derek was absolutely amazing in his attention to detail, his follow up and he made us feel as though we were the most important thing on his agenda. The staff at the front desk and the Sugar Factory could not be more helpful and responsive to all of the guests needs. Feedback from every one of our guests was so positive and I would highly recommend this hotel. The location, the customer service, the amenities for those wishing to go to the beach and the restaurant are all 'top shelf'.

I loved my stay so much that I extended my stay. I originally booked for 5 nights and I booked 3 nights more! I was supposed to change my hotel to a bigger 5 star hotel in hotel zone in Mid beach area but decided to stay here longer. I will tell you why.

1. Fantastic location: I love being able to walk to places and enjoy my morning coffee run to Starbucks every morning.

2. clean room: After check in, the first thing I checked was the bed sheets and I could tell the sheets were new! The white cotton sheet felt great and this is one of the major reasons why I extended my stay. The bed is really comfortable. I hate a saggy mattress and the bed was firm and not sagged. I loved it. I did not find ant dust in any surface. Great job! Maintenance team!

3. Refrigerator: Having a refrigerator that actually keeps drinks cool is a big deal for me and their refrigerator keeps drinks freezing cold! I love it and it is kept inside of a wooden cabinet so that I dont have to kneel or bend to reach for it. This is just so convenient. It is a small touch but makes a huge difference. Whoever thought this idea should get awarded. Their refrigerator is better than the ones in Ritz Carlton.

4. Big bath tub: I booked a poolside king bedroom and there was a big bath tub. Their tubs are much bigger than other hotels. I loved using the tub after my workout around the beach.

5. Employees : everyone I met was friendly and kind from the reception to maintenance. I also noticed that they work very hard. I stayed here post-Covid19 and everyone is wearing a mask in this hot weather but working very hard to do their jobs. Some guests would create a mess around pool area and the hotel staff comes in and cleans after them very quickly. So the pool area and overall property was kept very clean. I also feel very safe staying here.

I will visit here again! Lovely property that exceeded my expectations :)

I had a quick one night stay at the Hotel Victor. Despite visiting Miami Beach numerous times, I had never stayed on Ocean Drive before. I reserved a balcony room overlooking the pool area. It was a little on the small side, but had a marble bathroom with separate tub and shower. Housekeeping seemed to work very hard and the fragrance they sprayed in the room was pretty nice. Front desk staff were also friendly. At $500 a night during Miami's high season, it was pricey, but the resort fee was only $18/night (many hotels charge at least double). The resort fee also includes the use of bikes and beach chairs (didn't try them).

The pool was a good size and had a great view of the Spring Breakers on Ocean Drive. Apparently I had booked a rate with free breakfast at Cafe Americano. You could order from a small subset of the main menu, but the French Toast was tasty. The Hotel held my bag after check-out so that I could attend an Art Deco tour by the Miami Design Preservation League. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the Hotel Victor's lobby is a stop on the tour. It had great original Art Deco features, including a flamingo mural. I would return!

This was a great relaxing way to visit Miami my 2nd time I loved the front desk Dania, Guerdine, Mikel, and Nikita. They made our trip great and there were a few things the hotel offered I didnt know about. I called to see where the ice machine was located and was informed they'd bring it for me. In about 3 mins i received a nicely tied up bag of ice also when going to the beach we were informed the chairs were $20bucks each and 1 to rent a towel. Went to the hotel and received all those things free. I was lived saved $140 on beach rentals. Again wait til you meet the front desk they present the hotel really well with service.

Gorgeous room, loved the decor. Front desk personnel, especially Guerdine, Nikita, Carmen were so helpful and courteous. The hotel is in a perfect location, with so many restaurants, bars, beach, & Versace Mansion right there.
We were on the 4th floor...room had a balcony overlooking the pool, big open bathroom dressing area with a sink and mirror section, an oversized enclosed shower with bench, enclosed toilet, also roomy. Plus a spacious area both in the entryway and the bedroom area.

Hi, my stay did not include breakfast but I had breakfast at their restaurant anyway. It is a la carte, several choices and prices are reasonable. Food is good, portions also and service friendly. Enjoy.

There is a bar and restaurant next to the pool, we ordered food from there and took it to the pool. Sometimes they have private events there so it took a while to get our order but the food was really good :)
