The views of the Amstel River and the accommodations are so lovely that you may never want to leave. Staying incredible 4-star Eden Hotel Amsterdam, renovated in 2021, is a guarantee of happiness. All of the attractions for which you came to Amsterdam may be found in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. However, with such a wide range of restaurants, a 24-hour food market, and a true Tokyo-style listen bar, you would not need to leave the hotel to enjoy Amsterdam’s vibrant city life.

Eden Hotel Amsterdam's prime central location is a highlight for guests, providing easy access to attractions, yet it comes with a caveat of noise disturbances that some reviewers find disruptive. While the hotel's modern atmosphere and stylish decor are well-received, opinions on room quality and cleanliness are mixed, with occasional inconsistencies noted. The staff at Eden Hotel Amsterdam receives accolades for their friendliness and efficiency, but the value proposition is questioned by many travelers due to the perceived high cost of rooms and amenities.

What a great hotel this was. A very nice find in the heart of Amsterdam. Fronts onto the Amstel river with a second entrance that leads to the lively (especially on a Saturday night) Rembrandt square. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room (we stayed in an executive room) was spacious, well decorated, clean and had opening windows; even a small balcony to stand on.
The hotel has it's own mini supermarket which was great for picking up drinks and breakfast items. There's a bar and a pool table for those who have some time to kill.
Complimentary water, an ice machine on the floor, a Nespresso machine in the room and extra pods (including decaf) available on request were all bonuses. We also requested an iron & ironing board, which we were able to keep in our room for the duration of our stay. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom complete with soft towels and shampoo, body wash and body lotion.
Close to some great restaurants just out of the Rembrandt square. We tried Tia Rose Tapas, Ponte Arcari (great home cooked Italian food) and Klein Breda. All great food and lovely staff.
We had a wonderful four nights in Amsterdam and would definitely rebook at the Eden Hotel should we find ourselves in Amsterdam again.

The hotel is in the middle of the city, right next to Rembrandt Square which has a bustling nightlife and plenty of cafes/ bars. The room was a good size although the bathroom is fairly small. The shower and bath were good! We were disappointed to be paying over €200 and the room was only cleaned once during our stay (we were there Friday - Monday). It seemed a rather pricey hotel especially considering they wanted an extra €25 per person, per night for breakfast! Although the location was amazing, this did mean it was a bit loud at night due to the tram line and the busy square.

We spent four nights here, while enjoying the sights of Amsterdam and taking a day trip to The Hague. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, holding luggage until our room was ready, arranging taxis and bringing us extra towels very quickly. The location of the hotel is good as it makes nearly all of the important sightseeing within a 30 minute walk. The Rembrantplein Square is just behind the hotel with many dining options and access to the tram. Breakfast was served in the hotel and was very good. Overall, a really nice experience.

The hotel itself was lovely and clean. The check in/out was super quick and easy - I loved that you can do this yourself on a screen so you don’t have to wait for someone. Our rooms electric wasn’t working with the key card when we arrive so we had to get this checked but they sorted this out whilst we was out exploring. The only downside was cleaning of the room. The cleaners came very late in the day (whilst we was getting ready for dinner) so we didn’t get our room cleaned the whole stay! (3 nights) we had to ask for more toilet roll but the cleaners did give us one set of fresh towels and some more coffee for the room.

We were delighted, that the room was already available from noon as we arrived early in Amsterdam.
When we first arrived at our room, we found a cap of a razer on the bathroom floor, a safety pin on the carpet, a spider web from ceiling to the wooden tiles and an empty box of condoms under the mattress (only found it, as the mattress was always slipping of the bed). The wooden shelf besides the bed was rather dusty. We informed the reception, that our room has not been cleaned properly, and they promised to inform the housekeeping, but nothing changed. We left the hotel at 11 o’clock on the second day and the room had not been cleaned when we returned at 17 o’clock. Housekeeping arrived at 17.30 but as we wanted to rest for an hour before going out again, we asked him to come back in 1 hour. He did not return, and the room had not been cleaned when we returned later.
There were at least two elevators in the hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor. The elevator B closest to our room broke on the first day of our stay and was not fixed during the whole 5 day stay. The second elevator A broke also on the first day and was fixed 2 days later.
Breakfast was served until 11 o’clock. On our first day of stay (Sunday) we wanted to have a late breakfast, but at 10 o’clock several items were not available anymore. There was no flavored yogurt, no bowls for cereals and all tables were either occupied or full of dirty dishes. We waited for several minutes, to get a clean table but as no one cleaned the tables in the second breakfast room. At the end we moved the dishes ourselves and brushed the table, to start breakfast. After that someone arrived and started cleaning the tables very slowly.
Altogether, the experience was unfortunately not what we expect from a four-star hotel.

I am obsessed with this hotel. My friend and I traveled to Europe and did many different in two weeks. We wanted to stay near De Wallen/the train station because we thought that was best for young people and close to everything... but those hotels were too expensive.

We were WRONG! This hotel is in the most perfect location. Steps from a whole strip of clubs, bars and restaurants. Adorable quirky, fun rooms. A big lobby area and very clean and safe. The doors have a front and back entrance, both lock at night for safety. We felt so safe and were close to everything. Never had to use transportation late at night because of how close we were! (Literally 10 steps to our favorite club)

Amsterdam is super walkable and no tourist spot was too far. This hotel was just 10-15 minute walk to the Red Light District, Anne Frank House, etc.

It is also steps away from the Amsterdam Ice Bar. This location was just perfect and it's so funny because on the map when booking I thought it was too far/out of the way.

No free breakfast, but tons of shops and things nearby. If you're young, want to be near the nightlife and tons of fun, and want a super unique, colorful room... then book this hotel!

We also arrived late at night and someone was very helpful when we checked in. It's all on iPad systems but there are still people at a front desk if you need. They also stored our luggage on our last day which was great to explore.

The hotel is in a great location for everything, the check in is very impersonal, use a machine for everything even print your door keys.
The room is ok , nothing special with weird paper on the walls
Our room over looked Wagamama on the street and the windows are not sound proof so not much sleep with crows of blokes singing and shouting in the early hours of the morning, not very impressed as had to get up early for a flight home.
Once again check out is a machine

We had reserved two small double rooms for a couple of nights. I would say they are fine for one person but there is not enough room for two people. You have to climb over one another a lot! Cleanliness was an issue in one the rooms, very dusty, then one room had a few extra touches that were not available in the second room but should have been. Location is great, very close to everything and super easy to find. The breakfast was fab and there's a free water fountain to refill your bottle before a day's wandering, which was welcomed. Pillow order is a nice touch for people who need a different firmness to be able to sleep well.

We had a lovely stay here at Eden Hotel. Unfortunately our flight on the way out was cancelled and the staff were brilliant checking us in when we eventually arrived. The room was very clean, modern, and had a nice coffee machine too. We travelled for a birthday and our room was given a special touch of balloons and confetti which was incredibly thoughtful. The location was really good: there's a tram stop right outside the hotel which made getting back and forth from the airport very easy, lots of restaurants surrounding the area, and lots of things to do within walking distance. We ate out for all meals so can't comment on the hotel food, but did have a nice drink at the bar before heading out. There's also a small shop, toastie machine, and pizza oven on offer if you're after a quick snack/meal. The staff were very friendly too, always helping out if needed, and giving us a helpful tour on arrival. Overall, we had a really great stay and would definitely stay here again.

My 18yo daughter and I spent 3 nights in the Eden Hotel - we booked an apartment, rather than sharing a twin room. €1000+ for 3 nights, so we were expecting something special. The apartment itself is in a separate building a few doors down from the hotel, which is fine (if you are okay with very steep stairs) but it seemed to be a case of "out of sight, out of mind". Housekeeping only came once in the 3 days (despite me leaving signs on the door asking for service); there were no details of how to contact the hotel, copies of menus etc. The only time we actually went into the hotel itself was to check in and then check out! So you are paying a huge sum of money for what is effectively an AirBnB - I assumed it would be a combination of apartment facilities/space, plus hotel service. So my advice would be: if you want an apartment & space - book an AirBnb; if you want hotel service, stay in the main building.

The room I stayed in did not. But the 24hour shop in the hotel means you can pop down and buy a cold drink. I hope this helps

The tram from Rembrandt square takes you to Amsterdam Central. Not far at all, tram tickets can be bought on the tram and are nor expensive.
