Hotel Regina is a brand new hotel located in the heart of Sorrento. Recentely renewd it offers all comforts and an amazing view on the Gulf of Naples. All the rooms are tastefully decorated and offer free wi fi internet connection, ensuite bathroom with shower and some are equipped with jacuzzi bath. The reception is open 24/24 and a buffet breakfast is served every morning in our panoramic breakfast room.

This is is a lovely hotel in a great location overlooking the sea. In a quiet location though only a short stroll from the historical centre of Sorrento. Comfortable beds in nicely decorated/furnished room - we also booked a sea view with a balcony - though imagine the other rooms were just as nice! Nice buffet breakfast with selection of cereals & plentiful selection of cakes/pastries meats/cheese & fruit. There was also hot bacon & scrambled eggs each morning. The breakfast room had the most amazing view of the coast & also overlooked Vesuvius. We didn’t get round to using the pool area but was quite small so imagine it could be quite busy in the height of the season & may not be enough sun beds for everyone but was a very attractive area. The hotel also arranged a private return transfer from & to Naples airport at a cost of 100 euros each way, which made the journey hassle free & the hotel collected payment in cash for this service. I would personally recommend this hotel over one of the larger properties in the area.

Wonderful hotel with beautiful views. Make sure you get a room with a view of the water. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating and especially helpful in arranging drivers to and from Naples and for a wonderful drive along the Amalfi Coast. They have a nice casual Happy Hour every evening and their breakfast on the hotel top floor with amazing views is a great way to start each day. The rooms are very nice and clean. We loved the location since it is an easy and nice walk down to the water and is in a quiet location that is only a short walk into the heart of Sorrento with all the restaurants and shops.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the hotel and its staff are great! The room is nice with a view of the water. The bathroom shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Hairdryer and magnify mirror and toiletries. Bed was comfortable. And wifi was fast. The staff I have to say were very helpful. The gentleman called around for best options for a rental car for us to return it in Bari. Had them transport the car to the hotel and they took care of it with we sightsee. We also asked about hiring a car to drive us to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello and that was great too! If we have a chance to come back to Sorrento we will definitely stay here again!

If you are seeking a boutique hotel in Sorrento, look no further - the Hotel Regina is THE best place to stay. Open nearly year-round (a plus in this resort town) and located on a quiet street just steps from the historic center, this chic property offers bright, clean, and comfortable rooms, most of which have balconies with direct views of the Bay of Naples. The lobby is lovely and adjacent to a bar and two seating areas. Just off the reception area is a small pool surrounded by a patio shaded by lemon trees. There is also a great rooftop bar! Guests enjoy a hearty breakfast (included in your stay) and the jaw-dropping views of the Bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The front desk staff is friendly, professional, and can arrange car transports and provide helpful info regarding restaurants, shopping, and ferry service to nearby Capri, Amalfi, Positano, and Naples. This was our second stay at Hotel Regnia and we will definitely return.

We had 2 rooms for 4 nights for our family of 4 teens and myself and we loved our stay at Hotel Regina. The staff (front desk, cleaning and breakfast room) were so helpful and warm, made phone calls for me to help arrange transport and offered to bring pasta to my son who felt bad and stayed in one day. The rooms were cleaned beautifully, towels big and fluffy, and somewhat firm beds and sometimes noisy street did not disturb or bother us - our sea views were spectacular. This is a cute and quaint hotel that feels elegant and crisp and I would definitely return.

Visited beautiful Sorrento with a tour group in July. The first disappointment came when we were told that we would have rooms facing the gorgeous Bay of Naples and then was given a room facing the wall of another building. When brought to the hotel front desk reservation manager Antonino Staiano's attention, he told his first lie and said that there were no rooms but would notify us if one became available. We never heard anything else about it!! The hotel was nice, especially the roof top desk, however, they overcharged for everything, especially the restaurant which was not air conditioned and served stale bread. What made my stay even worse was that when I checked out Mr. Staiano asked if I wanted to be charged in dollars or euros for the charges that I incurred during my stay. The first charge supposedly did not go through and then was asked by Staiano to swipe again, I was skeptical but complied. Needless to say when I received my bill I was charged twice. I contacted the hotel and it took many emails and several weeks to get my money back on my card, which was less than the original charge which was attributed to the exchange rate at that time. It's a shame because it is a lovely hotel but I would choose another hotel when I return.

My wife and I recently spent 5 nights in a sea view room which is certainly worth the extra money watching the fishermen on a morning and Mount Vesuvius in the distance. Breakfast with amazing sea and mountain views is a great start to the day. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily and beds comfortable. Breakfast was enough to start the day with amazing views. The pool is a good extra albeit very small and only a few beds get the sun. Staff were on hand for any issues or questions and were very pleasant. We would definitely return or recommend. This hotel offers good value for money.

The hotel was very welcoming and the staff helpful. The room was beautiful, with excellent views from two balconies. The room was very light but also had external shutters and heavy curtains. Bathroom was a little small but functional. The hotel is quite small so never too busy. The restaurant is on the top floor and partly outside so very pleasant to eat there, especially breakfast. Food was good and breakfast had selections to please most people. There is also a rooftop bar which was also lovely after dinner. There is a small swimming pool in the garden, not big enough for real swimming but welcome all the same, with sun beds around which never seemed too busy. The only complaint we had is that there is a neighbouring hotel which has its wedding venue, which is not enclosed, in front of Regina Hotel. There were weddings on three nights while we were there and the music was very loud and continued until 23:30 or later.

This hotel is situation in an ideal location close to the city centre and a short walk to a small harbour/beach with a number of restaurants. Ideal base to explore the region including Amalfi coast and all of the surrounding sites. We had a standard double room (202) which was sufficient for us. Room cleaned daily and towels changed. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful. Good choice and hot food (limited to bacon, scrambled eggs etc). Served on 4th floor which has great views of the bay and Vesuvius. Roof top terrace is nice for pre drinks or for relaxing after dinner. Pool is small but good enough to cool off in. Pool towels provided. We didn't eat in at the hotel so can't comment on lunch or dinner. Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay and would return.

Came back last night from our first visit to Sorrento.
We stayed at Hotel Regina, the hotel was beautiful and every member of staff we came into contact from our housekeeper, to reception, dining staff, pool staff were all very friendly at helpful.
We were on a bed and breakfast basis, breakfast had a lot of choice, meats, cheeses, fruit, breads/rolls, cake, cereal and hot food, tea, coffee and fresh juices available. We only had dinner once at hotel and it was lovely.
We were fortunate when we there, that there was a firework display, we watched it from the rooftop terrace it was truly amazing, never seen a firework display at sea. We spent a few nights up on the roof top terrace the views are amazing and the same at breakfast and dinner 360 degree views
The pool area is small and peaceful to relax in, there is also a nice sitting area away from pool where you can have lunch and drinks
We went in a trip to positano, amalfi, capri and pompei we booked these all through Acompara Travel which is in Via del Mare, Roberto was very helpful.
We booked the capri VIP trip, the gold cruise to positano and amalfi and the pompei half day skip the line, go to pompei in morning when its a bit less hot, there is nowhere to shade from the sun and we were baking!
We ate in a few different restaurants:
Aurora which is up at the square with the flags, food was lovely.
Piennol ate here twice food also lovely thats in via dell’ accademia
Bar Veneruso which is in the big wide street off square, forgotten name, if you go to square you will see road, you almost need to walk to end of it and you will find it

You don't need to pack towels, they are free from the reception. x
We went to Bosco de medici, we added it to our trip to pompeii, We caught the train to pompeii, then a taxi to the wine tasting 20 euro each way, and train back. But reception were fantastic at helping.
The pool is out the side of the hotel whereas the sea is at the front of the hotel. you may have a side view of the sea and a pool view depending on where your room is
There are more places to choose from in the Sorrento area.
