My wife, daughter, and I spent three days this summer at Wendy's larger cottage (The one with a loft). One couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. This cottage had a million dollar view, right on the beach. The cottage was impeccably clean and stocked with all the necessities one would want including.a dish washer, Weber barbeque, and washer and dryer. The beach in front of the cottage had lots of drift wood for evening campfires on the beach. Being on the west coast, the sunsets from your living room or deck were spectacular.
The neighbors in the area are local people that come to their cottages on the weekend. Most are very friendly and easy to meet. On the weekdays it is very quiet in the area. The cottage itself is at the end of Church road. There is no real village, although there are two small convenience stores about 3 to 4 miles either way on the highway above the cottage.
We stayed at about 5 places on our two week trip to Newfoundland. This place by far was the best. Great value. Nice friendly owner. Good neighbors and a nice place to kick back and relax by the ocean.I would highly recommend this to families or couples.

Extremely clean and everything provided if you wish to prepare meals. Location has nice walking opportunities with remarkable views of the water and sky. One bedroom, a loft and another pullout bed was ideal for our small gathering.

This was a beautiful spot. We stayed in the smaller of two cottages and found it clean bright and comfortable. Great view of the ocean sunsets. Perfect for a couple or small family. Wendy worked very hard to make sure we were comfortable. Thanks Wendy.
