Felt so lucky to have found this lovely little boutique hotel in the middle of Barcelona. Me and my partner had a room with a balcony which was lovely, it overlooked a busy street with a good atmosphere, yet we didn’t find it to be too loud at night and we had black out curtains. I’d highly recommend this place for young couples, it is situated just down the street from a busy university square and is a short walk from lots of great bars and restaurants, and I found the room to be great value.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, after receiving check in instructions I was expecting to have to self check in and out but this was not the case, there was almost always someone at the desk, even late in the evening. We were also able to store our bags after check out as we had some time left to explore the city before our flight.

The hotel decor was lovely, very elegant and clean with a romantic feel. We loved the little nods to Gaudi’s architecture, such as the floor tiles and bed headboards. Our room was cleaned everyday and restocked with coffee, water bottles and even little cookies. The shower was also really nice.

Couldn’t fault this place on anything, would love to stay again and will be recommending for sure.

Very lovely boutique hotel, clean and in the most central location you can think of. My husband and I did not take the metro once and just walked everywhere. Bianca is very kind and explained everything to us. Big bathroom, comfy mattress and pillows. Very useful also the coffee machine they have. Everyday they provide you with coffee pods, tea and little biscuits. Nothing really negative to report. Probably the room could get advantage from bedside tables with drawers and a more functional closet since there is no place to store your clothes/stuff. And it gets a bit messy when you have a shower, but these are things you can easily get over with. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

The check in and check our process was quick and easy. The hotel was clean and comfortable with new towels and cleaning everyday. The hotel is very close to metro stations and within walking distance to loads of places.
Thanks for a great stay!

We booked for 4 nights, mainly to sleep and fresh ourselves up, so we could easily walk everywhere. The location is perfect.

We arrived during check-in time, but the room wasn't ready yet, so we had to wait for 40 minutes. The room was clean but smelled a lot like bleach. On the third day, we had no running water, so we couldn't take a shower or use the toilet. When I spoke to (I suppose it was) the manager, she told me that it wasn't her problem and that the problem would be fixed within 2 hours. We didn't wait for it, since wanted to explore the city in 4 days.

The next morning, there was still no running water. So I talked to the lady at the desk, who also said it wasn't her problem and that's it. When I complained even more about the price we pay for a room with a bed, a shower and a toilet, and we cannot use 2 out of 3 of them, she asked me to write down my phone number so the manager could give me a call. But that didn't happen during the day.

When we got back in the afternoon, I asked the lady (another one) why I didn't received a call from the manager which was promised, she easily said that the manager had more important things to do... Wait... What? Your fully booked hotel has people complaining about the fact there is no water, and you have more important things to do? Then she said that if we still want a reclamation or so, we should call booking.com.

Barcelona is a beautiful city, where we would definitely go back in the future, but never again at this hotel, run by people who don't care about their guests.

Location: great. opposite of university. very central.
Interior: high ceilings, simple but very well picked furniture and tiles. large bathroom. Seems authentic ant stylish.
Maintenance: very clean.
Bed: perfect sleeping ground.
Staff: friendly.
Silence: walls and doors are poorly sound-proofed. And sitting a small child while working at the reception on sunday early morning might prevent derp sleep of guests. But no noise from outside.

To be very honest i was a bit worried while booking because it was a small hotel but had mixed reviews. The pictures looked nice and the hotel looked decent. But i was a bit worried because it was a boutique hotel.
I was so pleasantly surprised! There should be more hotels like this one.
Its a small hotel in an old spanish building. The hotel is renovated but still has the vibes of a Spanish house with the high ceilings and authentic floors. Simple design but feels homey
Its an 8-10 mns walk from La Ramblas very centrally located
I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Barcelona that wants to stay in a clean renovated boutique hotel less than 10 mns away from the downtown

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for three nights during our trip to Spain. The photos of this hotel looked great on the website and from the map, the location looked ideal for first time travelers to Spain. My honest opinion of this place is that it's a nice hotel still in the making. Some people have made the comment that this hotel is not worth the price you pay but one must keep in mind that hotels in Barcelona are not cheap to begin with and this hotel for it's location and amenities is probably quite reasonably priced.

First the good things. The location is a must talk about. Metro station around the corner, plenty of buses and Plaza Catalunya just a short 10 minute walk away. The room was new and clean just like in the photos but admittedly a bit simple and plain. There were still more rooms being renovated during the day and I expect this hotel will be receiving more business in the near future. We got a room facing the main road on the third floor and so didn't have the problem of noisy people walking down the hallway like other people did. The noise insulation from the three sets of windows/doors was more than adequate to block out traffic noise at night. Amenities include free water and coffee pods/tea bags restocked every day.

Next come the problems. The entrance hall smelt a bit musty and looked just like the entrance to an apartment building. The rooms don't have an internal phone so you have to use your own mobile phone to contact the number they provide if there are any problems. We had no hot water the second night when we came back to the hotel and the girl who picked up the phone said she would "come up and take a look". I suspect the builders must have turned off the water to do their job during the day and never turned it back on. We never heard back from her but did hear someone turning on taps next door. Half an hour later I called back and she said "Oh, I have already turned on the hot water and checked that the other rooms have hot water so yours should be OK." Surely in such a case, you would expect a knock on the door instead of letting your guests just wait? Next was the free wifi. Whilst it did work, it was incredibly slow and occasionally disconnected or had no connectivity, In the end, we resorted to using our phones as hotspots instead. Lastly, we were only provided with one access key card. The outside door was also locked and access required this same key card. So one of us couldn't leave the room to go downstairs (for example to the convenience stores) without turning off the power in the room.

Ultimately, if you are looking for a place to sleep and a convenient location to explore Barcelona, this is a great hotel for you to stay. Perhaps things will be better when they have finally finished renovating the remaining rooms. With a few changes, this hotel could be much better.

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a centrally located hotel close to major attractions and transportation. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very friendly and professional. Our room was very spacious and was equipped with a Nespresso machine, coffee capsules, water bottles and a safe. The bathroom had a nice rain shower and included all kinds of toiletries. I highly recommend this hotel.

Central location which is really what you are paying for with this hotel. It’s more like apartments than a hotel; just a room and a bathroom, no hotel amenities.

Our bed wasn’t made over night and the water wasn’t replaced in the fridge. Our room was right behind the reception desk so it didn’t feel particularly private; we could hear any conversation taking place at reception.

We were out and about a lot so the cons didn’t impact our holiday too much but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend.
