I ended up in three separate room for reasons below. Each was okay re size and amenities etc. one had a terrace, one a balcony and the third neither. If you have a room on the 6th floor the elevator goes to the fifth and you have to use stairs for the final floor. Other than the ants, all rooms were clean with kettle, safe, fridge. There was a tv, but no idea if good or not as I didn’t use it. Internet was free and pretty fast for a hotel.

My fist night was good, however when I returned to my room the second evening there were hundreds of flying ants all over the bed, floor and in the bathroom. They were everywhere and I went to reception to complain. The lady on reception came to my room to see and immediately told me to pack my bags and she would give me a new room. However in this room the electricity would not work. The card slots into a gadget that activates the electricity and it would not work. Again I contacted the receptionist and she could not get it to work. She tried to contact maintenance but it was very late and they simply said they would fix it the next day. I had to leave that room and was told no others were available. As it was 11 pm I asked her to find me another hotel, but she could not fine one. I was getting very stressed and upset by now as it was so late I was exhausted. Eventually, after about half an hour I was given a third room which was allocated to another guest who hadn’t turned up yet. No idea what they did with them if they arrived.

Although i got another room, I was so tired and so stressed it completely ruined my stay. I was offered no compensation for the hassle and feel the hotel should have offered me a discount for all the issues I faced. I have no issues with the receptionist as she tried to fix the problem.

If my review was based on my first night I would give it a 5/5. But the second gets 1/5.

Stayed here for three nights in august as part of British Airways package. Ideally placed as short walk to Sagrada Familia with metro and bus stops meters away. Reception staff very friendly and provide lot of very helpful local and touristic info when checking in. Can not fault the service. Hotel is very clean, modern and rooms ideal for visiting city as spend most of the time exploring or eating!

The room is exactly as advertised, stylish and modern, though very small. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The manager really knows his way around the city. He gave us a map and showed us how to use public transit to get around so we were able to travel like locals for our entire trip. He also has expert opinions for shopping and eating. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included many options. The neighborhood is excellent. You are a 3 minute walk from San Pau Dos de Maig and a 10 minute walk from La Sagrada Familia. The neighborhood has several shops and restaurants to go to without the tourist trap prices that you get in other parts of town.

My only criticism is that a small child could easily fall from the balconies and the sliding doors leading to the balconies don't lock so beware if you have small children. We just stacked all of our luggage in front of the door to keep the baby away.

The hotel had a very clean nice little room. Awesome breakfast included in the price. The desk staff was very helpful suggesting places to eat and how to get to the Sagrada De Familia. It was about a mile walk that went very fast.

Located within easy walking distance of the Sant Pau metro station and La Sagrada Familia, this was the perfect small hotel for our short break in Barcelona. There are several good bars and restaurants nearby mainly catering for local people as well as a very convenient bus stop around the corner with services to all parts of the city. Rooms are quite tight but clean and nicely decorated - ours had a small balcony too. The staff are exceptionally helpful and we will would choose this hotel again when we return to the city.

Rooms are basic but with mini bar air-con kettle hairdryer and good shower.

Rooms are unexpectedly quiet in both nights of our stay (stayed in first and last nights of our trip) did not hear much traffic, only occasionally noise from hotel guests.

Location - few minutes walk to the nearest metro and abt 20 mins to get to town by metro.

If come from Barcelona Sant train station no need to change line on metro.

Few restaurants in the immediately, ok only for drinks, if fancy a nice dinner, should go somewhere else.

Walk from hotel to The famous Cathedral takes about 15 mins.

Couldn't have picked a better hotel, myself & my husband loved it, close to everything we needed. We were on our honeymoon, 5 years late. Hotel was close Cathedral, wow, amazing. If you're looking for a hotel that is easy access via walking or public transport, this is the one.

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and the bed was comfy. Great location, bus stop on the corner taking you into the centre in 15 minutes or a metro station a 5 minute walk away. Nice little cafe outside serving breakfast and tapas. Would recommend for a short stay in Barcelona!

We booked through lastminute.com with added flights. The room was small but clean and adequate for our needs. All the reception staff were helpful and informative. Dining area was clean and bright considering it is the basement. Food area was spotlessly clean and a good selection of freshly prepared fruit, breads and cold meats. The location is great with the a Metro station just a 5 min walk away and it is also at the beginning of Avenue Gaudi which leads you directly to the Sagrada Familia. Here you can get the Metro or one of the Bus Tours. Would definitely book this hotel again for its location, cleanliness and staff.
