Looked at numerous hotels in Barcelona before settling on this one for a friends reunion and we were not disappointed!!
Absolutely spotless, friendly and helpful staff giving advice on best and reasonably priced restaurants away from tourist areas.
Complimentary water and juices in fridge.
Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice to suit everyone including gluten free choices. Lovely outdoor terrace area to enjoy a cocktail or Sangria.
Metro station within a few yards from the hotel front door. Easy walking distance to La Ramblas & port. Purchased 3 day pass for €31 which was well worth it for us gave us easy access to all the different areas we wanted to visit.

It’s our last day tomorrow and we have enjoyed our stay in the main. The hotel is modern but busy and noisy. We had requested a quiet room and the receptionist said he would move us to higher floor. We had to leave our luggage and return one hour later for check in which took about 30 mins. We were on floor 6 but front of hotel with quite a bit of road noice and singing football fans quite late into the night on one occasion.
It was a special occasion (20 years since Honeymoon in Barcelona) for us and despite emailing the hotel there was no ‘little something ‘ which would have been nice!
The breakfast is excellent. It’s a real shame you are not allowed to have a drink on the terrace pre dinner. I asked but was turned away as it did not officially open until 7pm. I didn’t want service just my own drink in the outside environment.
The room was clean and beds comfortable. But when we arrived had only been set up for two not three. This is a bit of a bug bear as you pay for three and I feel it should be accommodated on arrival not on request. Also one day we returned and the room hadn’t been serviced. We had to find a cleaner at 4:45pm and wait in the bar when we just wanted to have a little rest in the room.
We explored many areas as the hotel is conveniently located next to tube station. The area is full of graffiti and does look a bit scruffy. But you can soon walk to the nicer Port area… 10 mins away.
Top tips. Book your tickets for the attractions before you leave at least 7days in advance. They get very busy and we could not get tickets for some attractions. Taxi from airport to hotel cost 30 euros. The travel ticket is good value for hopping on the tube and bus.

Marcos greeted us at the check in and was very attentative. He quickly helped us get settled in and we were given an upgrade. The rooms were clean, beautiful, and we had a great view. The hotel was very secure and the breakfast was phenomenal with all inclusive buffet. For breakfast we sat outdoors in the terrace highly recommend if you can do the view was aesthetically pleasing. Ryan helped us many times with answering questions and recommending wonderful restaurants in the city. The service that was given was beyond helpful . Ryan even made sure we were given a care package as we departed the following morning and made sure our taxi arrived on time to take us to the airport. One of the restaurants we were recommended by Ryan was a 10 minute walk from the hotel at night called Can Lampazas
where we had the most authentic local Spanish food and we were helped by Araceli. Check it out if you have the chance! Definitely worth it. Finally, we left at 4 am to the airport and my husband left his wallet at the front desk where the two receptionists called us and were kind enough to hold on to it for us while we went back on 6/29/23. Service was truly the best. Will come back as soon as possible!

It is an elegant welcoming hotel, with a stylish modern lobby and spacious slick rooms, with a nicely fit retro touch. I stayed three days on a business trip, through my company's booking, for an event at Fira de Barcelona. The location was convenient, as it is close to the venue, but also a short walking distance to the touristic part of the city -and Paral-lel metro is just outside the hotel. Mind though, given the proximity to Apollo Centre, street noise in the night might be annoying -especially if one stays in a front side low floor room.
Other than that, everything was smooth, and the service was attentive and effective in all aspects; lastly the breakfast was above average, comprising both the standard options, but also a local touch.
It is an option I would reconsider, when back in the city, maybe opting for a backside room this time.

Me and my friends just returned last week after an amazing stay. There were 4 of us and we had connecting rooms so we could go in between both rooms which was nice. The hotel looks like it’s been renovated recently and everything is very modern and clean. We loved that the fridge was restocked every day (free of charge) with waters and juices.
The check in process was very easy and the staff were very friendly. We arrived early and our room was ready so we were able to check in early. The check out time is 12pm which is very good! We stored our bags in the hotel luggage room on the last day until we went to the airport. This is very secure with no one being able to go in there apart from the staff.
The location is amazing and you’re in walking distance to everything. There’s a taxi rank out the front if you didn’t want to walk and also the metro is right outside the hotel. We used this once to get back to the hotel quickly as we had dinner plans. One journey was only €2. Although the hotel is on a busy road we had no issues with sleeping at all.
We all loved our stay and would 100% return!

I had a very simple query about this hotel when booking, so I sent an email but no response that day. So I rang the UK number which seems automated and did not understand my query. I rang the Spanish number and was told the Loft in this hotel does not have a separate living area, so I had to book the more expensive townhouse. Then I get an email today to my original query to contradict that saying the Loft does in fact have two rooms. Beware the customer service at this hotel appears to be non-existent. I had booked non refundable given the more expensive townhouse booking, so I just hope the hotel customer service is better when we arrive. Very disappointing.

Great hotel; great location. Close to a hop on hop off stop, restaurants, Marina and much more! Friendly, helpful, and professional staff. HUGE shout to Ryan at the reception. He spent close to 45 mins to help us pick and book the attractions we wanted to see. It made a huge difference to have him help us because it can get very tricky booking a few things back to back since you have to pick the time when you buy the ticket for most of the popular spots. Ryan also booked an awesome restaurant for us for the first night (within a walking distance; an authentic Spanish place reasonably priced) and that got our trip started on the right foot.

Brilliant experience for a short 4 night trip - excellent service and the rooms were absolutely perfect. absolutely would recommend to anyone going to Barcelona as it is situated between all the places you would want to visit as a tourist. Check in and our process was so easy and staff were very welcoming and helpful. They spoke perfect English and were very friendly.
Less than 10 min walk to the Beach and to La Rambla and main Bus tour also the metro. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

We had an excellent time at the hotel . The room was comfortable and the food was delicious with a breakfast that was varied and plentiful . We arrived in the free shuttle from the airport very easily and our return to the airport via reserved shuttle the next morning worked flawlessly as well. . Our room was a bit stark but comfortable and very well insulated sound wise. The shower was the best we have encountered in a hotel. The reception was very good and English was automatic. The food and drink were a bit higher than expected cost wise. The only real flaw was the hot food on the expansive and elaborate breakfast buffet was stone cold because although it was in chafing dishes, there was no heat under the chafers so the scrambled and fried eggs were stone cold and the bacon and sausage were not hot enough to be served. Given that we were among the first to try the buffet at 7 AM, I can't imagine what later diners would encounter. I mentioned this flaw to the reception desk upon leaving and can only hope they rectified this problem.

We got the bus from the airport… then walked about 20 minutes to the hotel.
"Front rooms of hotel could be noisy if not used to it. Double glazing and air con so couldn't hear much! Walk as much as you can. Toliets everywhere we went really clean. "Read full review
