Stayed here for 5 night for a conference in Barcelona. Decent size rooms, bathroom was a bit tired and the ac blows out hot air in January-which even with off, made it a bit warm for this UK punter! Nice staff, breakfast is excellent and you are a 1 min walk from one of the main Metro lines. You need 2 trains to get to the airport, total time about 45 mins-but it’s cheap (38 Euros for a 5 day pass). Bed was comfy enough and it’s quiet, even though the road outside is a bit manic at peak times. Would I go back? Not sure but if I was stuck,probably-it’s a safe bet.

We arrived in June 2024. The hotel check in was relatively easy, and straight forward. We had booked via booking.com and they tried to charge us a bit more than what was stated but we were able to speak to a manager and sort it out. We had two rooms for 5 nights. One room was comparatively bigger than the other room. The bigger room was quite spacious and comfortable but the smaller room felt small for two people. The beds were nice and the ac worked well. However, the service at the hotel was average and not worth the price we paid. We requested a kettle for one of the rooms and they were charging 10 euros per night (!!!!!) for this. This would’ve been 50 euros for us so we ended up buying a new kettle as it was cheaper. This felt like daylight robbery and should’ve been a free service as most decent hotels offer a hot water kettle. The location of the hotel was amazing, which was the saving grace. The area was safe, and so was the hotel. However for the price, I believe there are better options in the same locality. It was good but not worth visiting again

We have just returned from a 4 night trip and I cannot fault this hotel at all. The staff are so helpful and friendly the hotel is spotless and very modern. The pool is excellent for a cool down after a hot day sightseeing, and the location is perfect for all tourist attractions. I would 100% recommend this hotel and we will certainly stay here again.

staff are not that friendly no kettle in the room, we we ask for hot water they want to charge us for 10 euros which i think all hotel should have a kettle in the room. since this is a four star hotel it a necessity to have a kettle in the room. on a lighter side location of hotel is good near in the city center.

So I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend for one week but I have a really bad taste of this trip. At the first day I arrived at the hotel alone and my boyfriend would depart after midnight. They wouldn’t let me go to my room unless I paid the total amount for the whole week. I was telling them that I didn’t have the money because my and my boyfriend were going to split the rent, but still they had problem with this, even if I had give them as guarantee my ID card and my credit card as well… after 30min they agreed to keep the half amount from me and around 2.00am that my boyfriend would come, they would keep the rest of the money. They didn’t even wanna wait until next morning …. After I asked about the total price just to confirm that is the same price as we had agreed when I did the reservation in person and it wasn’t the same.. it was like 100€ more because “taxes were not included”. I told them, but you sent me a confirmation email and it doesn’t say anything about extra taxes , we’re not in America, in Europe taxes are included to the final price.. still they made me pay these extra money even though they did the mistake not to refer them at the receipt they sent me via email. After all these I finally go to my room and it doesn’t have a double bed, but two single beds. I go down and tell them that I booked a double bed and they tell me “sorry there is nothing available now, we’ll check next morning”… I was so pissed of.. And the “cherry on top of the cake” was that i forgot my watch in the room when we left but after they didn’t find anything … what can I say, so unprofessionals!!!

Front desk staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The hotel is spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It almost felt like home from home. The restaurant was quiet but the waiter Miguel was excellent and I didn’t feel awkward being on my own.

I highly recommend this hotel. This was one of the finest hotels in which we have ever stayed. Cleanliness, professional and helpful staff, great location to access restaurants, shops, and transportation, all created an excellent springboard for safe and efficient city exploration. We have friends traveling to Barcelona soon and we are recommending that they stay in this lovely hotel.

After renovations the hotel has lost some charm. No closed wardrobes for hanging clothes. Bathroom door opens right on to the toilet in such a manner that if someone is sitting there then their knees are smashed. No drawers for putting away other items of clothing in a bedroom which could have easily accommodated the additional furniture. I have grown to expect more from the Catalonia Hotel chain.

Just returned from a 3 night stay and I cannot fault this hotel in any way, or room was spacious with a double bed and bunk beds for our children. The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly. So close to the metro station, we could hear the metro at times from our room but this was barely noticeable, it really wasn’t that loud. When we arrived back from exploring there was a lovely fruit platter and sweets for the children in our room, this was a very nice touch. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again

After spending 25 hours traveling, 2 flights and a horrible experience at customs, we were hoping there would be some respite from waiting any further. However, Adrian felt it was more important to train the new receptionist in how to check us in than actually ask us how we were feeling. After the ordeal we were then told we had to wait a further two hours. That’s not really the issue as we had a great time exploring the beautiful city, but we just felt it would have been nice to ask how we are.

Hi. I’m not sure really. There’s a tube station 100 meters away and it’s easy to use. A few stops from Nou Camp and Las Rambla. Hotel is small but good.

The hotel is located in an internal street so I think all the balconies give on an internal street not on a proper view. Our room had a small balcony that gave on the street where the main entrance of the hotel was located.
There are more places to choose from in the Barcelona area.
