Le plus mauvais appartement que nous ayons réservé à Barcelone !
Le descriptif ne correspond pas : pas de lave-linge, pas de grille-pain. La cafetière ne fonctionnait pas, une chaise cassée, le four crasseux, ... Très vétuste pour un appartement qui, en plus, précise qu'il peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes (pour ceux qui veulent séjourner comme dans un poulailler). Ne vous attendez pas à cuisiner car il n'y a même pas une casserole à disposition ! Heureusement, Barcelone est la ville où il fait bon se restaurer à l'extérieur...
Maintenant, nous arrivons au pire : il s'agit d'une "agence fantôme". Prenez garde ! Vous n'avez le contact que d'une seule personne qui vous remet les clés à votre arrivée. Nous sommes malheureusement arrivés juste avant les mesures sanitaires appliquées par le gouvernement. 2 jours après nous sommes repartis en France, quelques heures avant le confinement en Espagne. Nous avons prévenu
cette personne qui nous dit qu'elle parlera au propriétaire le lundi... Le lundi, nous lui envoyons un autre message. Celle-ci nous écrit par message (elle ne décroche pas son téléphone) pour nous avertir de contacter nous-même "l'agence" et que de toute façon, le propriétaire ne remboursera pas (nous avons demandé le remboursement des 7 nuits qu'il nous restaient à effectuer dans l'appartement). Nous tentons de l'appeler, en vain. Nous lui envoyons un autre message pour demander les coordonnées du propriétaire : silence radio, puis un message demandant le contact et le nom du responsable de "l'agence" : toujours pas de réponse... Finalement, cette personne nous envoie un message disant qu'elle nous a rendu la caution. Oui mais les 7 nuits restantes ??!! Lorsque nous envoyons un message pour lui poser la question, elle bloque notre numéro...
En conclusion, en cette pandémie, quelques professionnels profitent de la situation (pour cette dame, je doute qu'elle soit une professionnelle toutefois) d'où la plus grande vigilance pour ceux qui souhaiteraient tenter l'aventure dans cet appartement lorsque la situation redeviendra à la normale...
Je lisais justement un commentaire les dénommant "escrocs". Nous n'avons pas l'habitude d'aller jusque-là, mais malheureusement le terme est bien employé : escrocs, voleurs, bref, ce ne sont pas des gens dignes de louer un appartement dans une ville si agréable. Honte à vous de vous engraisser ainsi et de ne pas prendre vos responsabilités face à une crise sans précédent.

Spent five nights here, with husband and two teenage children. Place was clean and had all we needed in it. Close to the beach and cafe's/restaurants. Large shop just around the corner to get groceries. Nice walk into Barcalona, but very manageable.

Where do I start. So I was looking for a place IN Barcelona. I mistakenly selected the wrong apartment from numerous tabs I had open. This also took some monies out of my account which I was not prepared for. I contacted booking.com to cancel this which they said they couldn't. They contacted the apartment agents to explain the mistake and if they can wave the deposit fee and return it back to me. Blue apartments declined. I Acepted the mistake but tried to ask some questions when they were so rude to me via message that I no longer wanted to stay there and give them any more money. So I asked booking.com to intervene and they once again said they can't do anything but ask them to refund me the money. Rejected 2nd time.
I then contacted Blue apartments directly and spoke to the account manager and it turns out that no only was he rude on the phone, but then it was either no him or his colleague who was being rude to me on the messenger. I raised a 3rd complain to booking.com and nothing no. Then I found out the blue apartments took out more money than what was advertised on the booking page at the time of reservation and cancellation. I was charged 155 euros instead of 132euros. I raised a disputed with booking.com about the additional money taken and blue apartments refused saying "you bring us money, how can we make money without charging". Bunch of crooks and rude catalase men. Booking.com also should be ashamed on how they have dealt with this situation and no issued any type of compensation despite seeing all of the transcripts since the beginning. Also to note - I haven't even left stepped foot on the plane and do not feel welcomed in the city let alone their apartment. I also asked them to stop referring to me me as "guest" and they still sarcásticly continued. Below you can see the messages and proof. Be careful with these crooks.

Super clean and spacious appartments. For me conveniently located at walking distance of the Barcelona Convention Center CCIB.
The bed was super good and airco worked perfectly.
For tourist with proactive attitude: the metro is nearby and you will be in the city center in a blink but you can also rent bikes and electro scooters.
Also the beach is very nearby.
It’s located in a quiet urban location with a school nearby, pharmacy, great local restaurants, supermercado, etc.
The host Cecilia is very kind and helpful.
So no it is not the sparkling center of Barcelona but a very good place to withdraw to and relax when visiting this great city. Also with children.
