Lovely motel, very clean and quiet. Highly recommend the motel and restaurant if you want real Indian food. We had a great dinner and it’s reasonably priced. The young Indian men that bought the place last year are really making an effort. Nice grounds too

We stayed here during our moving trip with two pets. The staff was very helpful and kind however you could tell that they need some time to catch themselves. The room could be a bit cleaner and drier. The septic system need some care just as the park. The dinner was amazing and they brought it into our room. I strongly hope that they will manage this pandemic and stay on their feet.

Very small bathroom with showe and toilet very close. Very Poor water pressure in bathroom, sometimes water dribbles out of shower.
Bed comfortable, tv and wifi good, easy access from highway south of WAWA. 2 restaurants very close.

This was the last hotel room available in the area, so based on the trip advisor ratings we decided to chance it. Let's just say that we would never recommend this place to anyone. When we arrived, my friend went to check in and she was told in no uncertain terms that if we caused any damage we would be asked to pay for it. Not a great way to show customer service. We were directed to the last cottage. When we entered it was obvious that the unit had not been given a thorough cleaning in a while. However, since the beds and bathroom were clean and we didn't have much choice, we stayed. The "fully equipped" kitchen consisted of a few pieces of bent cutlery, two very beat up pots and plates etc for two. We pulled our kitchen supplies out of our car and used those as they were cleaner than the ones supplied.
During the night we heard mice and when we woke up we discovered that they had been into everything. We spent about an hour disinfecting everything. Took a shower and then went to check out. When my friend mentioned the issues that we had had including the mice she was told " Oh yes, we are trying to get a handle on that, but we are new and aren't quite sure how to deal with it." No apology or anything.

We booked the cabin to allow us to eat meals in the room, during COVID for essential travel. The price we paid (186) was ridiculous for the musty smelling cabin we got. I was really happy I brought sanitizing wipes as the room was not clean. The bathroom sink had not been wiped out (globs of toothpaste), spilled coffee in the TINY kitchenette, microwave was dirty, all kitchen surfaces were sticky. The cutlery was sticky, some had food on them and there was no soap anywhere. We were travel weary, had food that was defrosted and needed to be eaten (required the tiny microwave) otherwise we would have left. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, decent linens and beds, but I had to clean every surface and everything before we used it. I complained to the front desk and was given dish soap and a 'sorry'. Not much is open early April in Wawa, I will never stay here again.

As soon as we reach there, the guy at the reception started telling us that he has given us a disount, when we just booked the rooms over website. We were paying the same price stated at the website, but were told we got a discount. Anyways, we took a cottage which was very old with basic decor and faul smell. The bed covers were worn out and was dusty. Due to the covid situation, we were really worried about the cleanliness, so notified the reception and asked them to take away the bed cover. A lady came and charged us where is the dust and why did we send the bed cover back! She claimed that she cleaned it herself and then started a very long argument with us! Another guy who took the bed covers back, came and told us that if we didn't like it we could leave. Very weird overall!
The water was not properly flowing in the shower and the hair drier was broken too! There were heaters but they didn't tell us, instead they insisted us to take blankets. Fortunately we found the heaters for the next night, so could sleep a little.
We heard that the management changed, these new owners bought this place. So all the good reviews are probably the old management and service. Really disappointed.

I am writing this for my partner who stayed here on February 28, 2022, but I paid for the room in advance as I had had a good experience there other times ( 2019 and earlier). The following occurred for him and owners have not open to discussion nor compensation. These are from my partner's notes: No toilet paper, no heat and thermostat was non-functioning, so room was very cold. No staff on site, no other clients, completely empty parking lot, no restaurant, no front desk despite that the Expedia review says "only one room left." Does that mean there is only ever one room available? If so, why is this one room so unliveable? Freezing inside but no bath because tub stopper did not work. When unscrewed, a disgusting wad of hair was preventing closure. After phone calls for help, a young man arrived with a portable heater and rubber tub stopper. Thank you, but the room did not feel vetted for function or supplies. Also, impossible not to track in wet snow as the front door mat was barely large enough to catch a drip. Very sad because years ago this was a great place to stay. Whoever owns it now is not responsible nor communicative and seems to be misleading with advertising. Cost of $ 118 for the night was also the highest paid anywhere on the trip from Toronto to Vancouver Island. For example, The Days Inn in Medicine Hat cost $ 90 for a swimming pool, sauna, free breakfast and a lovely warm room with a bath. Disappointed to have to write this review. The owner was given three phonecalls and a text with all this information documented to provide opportunity to discuss. He evaded all conversation. His customer service person is a woman who seems to do her best but is difficult to understand due to language dialect. Not her fault but just another added challenge on top of many other cold and lonely challenges.

We have stayed at this motel almost every summer for the past 25 years and enjoyed both the accommodations and the fine Polish food. We again booked a room in mid August, our first experience under the new ownership. The room had been repainted in a very amateur fashion and looked rather dark and dingy. Carpets had been replaced by vinyl flooring which was absolutely filthy and my white socks were brown after 5 minutes. The beds smelled musty. The restaurant seemed bright and clean and largely unchanged except with the addition of Indian food but the server seemed to have little or no experience. The wine choices were “red or white” and questions about the types of wine were met with a blank look. Indian food is one of my favourites and I tried the butter chicken. Truly bland and probably the worst I have ever had. My partner ordered curried chicken - equally bad. Asking for coffee completely flummoxed our server who seemed like he had never heard of it. The next day we discovered we had a coffee maker in our room but no coffee! Needless to say we will not be staying there again.

We booked in for one night as there was no where else in the area. First impression was good but quickly turned bad when we entered the room and were confronted with a terribly musty & moldy smell.

We were booked into Room #9.

We had the worst sleep of our vacation because the mattress had a terrible slope into the middle. It was impossible to sleep without rolling into the middle. The bathroom sink had a dish with dirty rags in it for cleaning your boots. The idea was good but they shouldn't be on the sink and they should have at least been clean rags.

In the morning when we went to take a shower we were shocked to see the amount of mold on the walls and ceiling where the shower was. It was so disgusting we left without showering. There was no one available in the morning to talk with and relay our concerns.

I would not recommend this hotel.

No air conditioning, not even a fan, only a small window to allow some air in. Room was grimy, walls very thin.......barely got any sleep. Will not stay here again.
So sad that I relied on other reviews. Yes the owners are very polite but unfortunately that did not add to my comfort and perhaps no one had stayed there during a heat wave.
