Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This place has the worst elevator ever. They are a busy place and 1 elevator. It is insanely slow, and it stops on floors when Noone is even there. We couldn't take the stairs most of the time, as we were there for a hockey tournament and carrying hockey bags up 3 flights of stairs wasn't happening. Also, the bathroom is way to small for $300 a night. We were also very annoyed that guest services called us as we were leaving to see if we were headed out..I have never had this before and we felt it was very rude as we just spent $1200 here. The housekeepers were nowhere near our room, so it's not like if we were a few minutes late there we were holding them up.
This hotel is also pretty dated given how much you pay.

Very good service from front desk on check-in. The room was a suite so it was nice and spacious. Bed and pillows were good. The wifi did not play well with my chromebook for some reason - turning the chromebook off and on would solve the connection problems. My husband’s tablet worked fine. Room had fridge and microwave. The pool and hot tub were open by reservation. Parking was easy. You can feel the rumble when the trains go by but it did not bother us. We walked to downtown for dinner. Would stay again.

Overall a great stay. Room was clean. Bed was comfy. We had a fireplace, microwave, coffee maker, and room was large enough for two with lots of outdoor gear. Bonus points for a hot tub, pool, and fitness centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. On site laundry was a perk. Negatives, parking spots are tight and decor in this room was dated. Other rooms looked like they had upgrades though. Price was affordable.

We loved our stay at this adorable hotel in Canmore. All of the rooms are suites equipped with stone fireplaces, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, fridge, and two televisions. The hot tub is outside and was wonderful on our warm NYE stay. Things to be aware of is that there are no wine glasses or cutlery available for your use, no room service, and the towels in the pool are hand towel size so if you need something bigger, bring one from your room. There is a mountain view from every room. All in all, we loved our stay and would be happy to return for our next visit.

The hotel is very clean, our stay is amazing. Safety measures for pandemic are followed by employees. You can see their staff sanitizing areas, social distance and wearing mask. The service is great. The room were in also has a mountain view which is perfect. Very much recommended.

I used 50000 Choice Privilege points for 2 rooms for a family visit to the area August 2, 2020. This hotel should have required about 8000 points per night per room not 25000. Unfriendly rushed check in and rooms very dated with zero sophistication. We booked because of claim of fireplace in room with mountain view. Fireplace is off line in summer and mountain view was a joke. This hotel is one star max.

HAIR, black long & short hairs imbedded in the bed sheets. I never received clean bedding, I was offered an other room which also had even more hairs in the bedsheets. I was given a lint roller to collect hair or told 11pm to find another hotel on a weekend with a child which is ridiculous. Requested a refund, was told I have to wait to talk to manager…3 weeks later finally one staff was kind enough to help communicate with manager who refund me $26. when I paid $300 for the room. I am not satisfied with the room quality or the refund.

Please be informed that the full refund was offered to you on the day you checked in as you were not satisfied with the overall room condition and your check in time was 5 PM. Our front desk agent offered to change the bedsheets and offered clean bedding however, the same was denied as well. We understand there is a delay in processing the refund and we apologise for the same however, as per our records a 10% refund was promised to you by our front desk agent and the same has been refunded to you on your credit card. Your nightly room rate was $133 plus taxes and the refund was initiated based on the same room rates. We once again apologise for all the inconvinience. Thank you. Stayed here for couple of nights. We had some issues with the Air Conditioning the first night, which was resolved my the Manager who moved us to another room the next morning. There was a Indian Guy in the reception who had checked us in he made sure our requests were met in a prompt manner. The GM of the Hotel compensated us for the trouble we had. Overall we had a great stay. During Checking Out a Philipina Lady at the reception made sure that we were satisfied with our stay and we will definitely come back again. The location of the hotel is incredible , beautiful mountain views from Our rooms, comfortable beds and very close to town centre just 10 minutes walk. Staff is really friendly and helpful and always smiling and greeting us during our entire stay. We'll definitely come back!

I called to book a room for our 25th Anniversary and Gemma was amazing. I asked her if there was any way she could have flowers ,wine and chocolates in our room before we got there so I could surprise my husband. We do not have anything planned for Christmas Day. We do have a pool, hot tub, gym and sauna. Which the kids seem to like. Or at least the pool and hot tub. I will check the restaurant for there holiday hours and if you send me an email me. I will reply as soon as I find out.

Hi, I don't work there, but most motels have the same policy, card and person must be present. I would suggest that you bring a lot of cash as a backup payment and damage deposit.
