Covid has effectively canceled any amenities at the Redmond Marriott. No restaurant, no club lounge, no swimming pool or gym. And surprisingly no room upgrade for Titanium members. Fortunately the AAA room rate of $65 helped alleviate the lack of benefits, although expect to be asked for membership verification at check in. Skip the ridiculous parking fee between 5 PM and 9 AM weekdays and all day on weekends and holidays by finding a spot on a nearby public street. Redmond does not prohibit overnight parking and three hours from 9 AM to 5 PM are free.

No cups or plastic drinking glasses, amenities or Kleenex in the room. All presumably in the name of Covid but what it means to the customer is all you get is a small barren room. Oh yes, I forgot, no breaksfast either. But they do manage to charge for parking. If you are not a Marriott member you also would get charged for WiFi. Who does that anymore? Although the hotel seems quiet this week must be something special as they raised the parking fee from $10 to $15. The nearby Hampton Inn, where we stayed ten days earlier is a far better value.

When traveling I stay at Marriott Hotels most of the time and usually have a good experience. This time was not one of those good experiences. Upon arrival I had to wait to check into my room as it still had not been cleaned by 3:30pm. They switched me to another room 30 minutes later as my room was still not cleaned. Upon getting settled in my room I noticed that there were places that had not been dusted in a while and even in the corner of the bathroom countertop there was blonde hair that had accumulated and not been cleaned. The room looked old and tired and I also saw areas that looked like they had rust. The design of the room did not leave any place to unpack my suitcase and put items away. I had to either leave items in my suitcase or put them on counter tops to access my belongings. Also, there was only one place to store a suitcase. So if you’re traveling with more than one suitcase or if more than one person is staying in a room you’ll be fighting for places to store your suitcase and unpack.
After the first night of my stay I had to request toilet paper and Kleenex TWICE in order to get some brought to the room. Also, housekeeping removed the used bath towels and wash clothes without replacing the ones they removed with fresh towels and washcloths. I had to request that towels and washcloths be sent to the room. The normal amenities that one might rely on in the bathroom were non-existent. They only provided a small tube of body lotion that was never replaced after I had used it up. They did provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower get in dispensers in the shower, however, the shower gel was completely empty and never refilled during my entire stay. The two glasses that were provided next to the water bottles (they charge $2/bottle for water) were never replaced at any time during my whole stay even though I repeatedly requested fresh glasses both at the front desk and even with the person who was cleaning the room. Staff was pleasant to talk to, but seemed ineffective at getting much done when requests were made.
Usually I order Room Service for breakfast so that I can eat while I’m getting ready. But the hotel doesn’t offer Room Service! So I went downstairs for breakfast at Brown’s on two of the mornings that I was there. The first morning the food was good, the second morning it was not cooked as ordered and came out cold. I sent it back to be prepared again so that I could heat a hot breakfast instead of cold food. This time the food was not cooked thoroughly as I had also requested. The waitress didn’t check back until she brought the bill, at which time I told her that the food had not been cooked all the way. Her ‘excuse’ was that the chef didn’t speak English very well so must not have understood that I wanted the food to be cooked more thoroughly. No offer to refund the breakfast or anything. Just the excuse.
This is one of the worst Marriott stays that I’ve had in many years and I will not stay at this location again.

We stayed there for a few days. Left the room in good condition. We had a few concerns right away They don’t provide any services, you have to call the front desk to get clean towels. No services were provided, we understand the covid restrictions but they literally made you have to ask for everything and when we had a question about our bill. All we got was empty “sorry sorry” but didn’t get a results except for a unexpected 245$ Payment that got taken out today (9/15/20) We tried asking about the first bill we got that was a 280$ deposit and they said we’d get it back, but instead we got refunded a little over 200$ and then dinged again with a 280$ payment. This hotel is discriminatory against us odviously. They never attempted or have attempted to help us in any way or even contact us. Don’t go to this hotel. Especially if your LGBTQ community. They’ll go out of Thier way to rip you off.

We just returned from a 3-day stay at the Seattle Marriott (Redmond Town Center). When booking, we have always known that breakfast is not included in the price; we didn't realize, however, that housekeeping is also "upon request" and not for Sundays. The price for three nights was over $500--and we serviced our own room! It would have been more honest to include this information on the website/booking information so that customers can decide for themselves whether this new arrangement suits them.

This hotel needs a major deep clean! My room was nasty gross! The toilet didn’t flush then the shower was drain was clogged. The room had huge dust bunnies, the desk was never wiped down with junk all over it. The cups in the room were not washed. There was mold in the shower. The sheet are dingy abs old thin need replacement. The towels as well are old and in need of some bleach. The gym had not been cleaned forever. No wipes for the equipment and people are in there sweating all over the equipment. No towels either. I called for both and they bring bath towels and wipes for remote controls. I told the front desk and he said he would go do it himself. I went back to the gym the next day and it was exactly the same. Never works stay there again!

I decided to stay here for two nights, because it was actually one of the cheaper Marriott brand options that particular weekend. I stayed here once before over 4 years ago, and wasn’t very impressed with the design of the room because you couldn’t fully close the bathroom when you wanted to use the entrance door. But I gave it another try, and it was a bit better.
I checked in my my mobile app, so once I arrived I quickly showed by ID and credit card and that was it. She welcomed me as a platinum member, but noted the MClub was completely closed over the weekend so would be given breakfast vouchers for the restaurant. This is within policy, but the first time I’ve encountered a completely closed club lounge. In my experience, even if a lounge was not completely operational, it would be open for free coffee, water, soda and snacks. That’s not the case here.
Our room is similar to what I remember, which the current decor/design of most Marriott hotels. This time, I didn’t encounter the problem with the entrance door bumping up against the bathroom door. Otherwise, room was a decent size with comfortable beds. I thought the HVAC was a bit loud, as it switched on and off during the night to maintain the heat on a cold weekend. I thought the WiFi was a bit spotty as I constantly lost connection on my device and had to reconnect.
I did use the fitness room which wasn’t bad. Had an elliptical machine, a few treadmills and two Peloton bikes, but one of the bikes wasn’t fully functional as it was not recording any activity. Room had a cable tower with plate stacks, and some free weights going up to 50lbs.
We had breakfast at Brown’s Stockyard Exchange twice. Both mornings it was only staffed by one full-time server and a 2nd employee who would help bring out orders. When it got busy, it was hard for them to keep up. Our server was certainly nice, but a bit unconventional. The first morning, we asked for whipped cream and would normally expect a small bowl to be brought out, but instead she brought the canister and sprayed it directly on our waffle. On the second morning, it was busy, and she decided us to give us our bill before we received our food. Not terrible, but a bit unusual. Food itself was not bad, but way overpriced for the quality. I’m glad I had the breakfast vouchers because I would have scoffed at the prices otherwise.
It’s very convenient to be located next to the Redmond Town Center and near downtown. It’s probably one the strengths of this hotel.
Similar to last time, I skipped the valet and parked on NE 76th because there are no time restrictions on the weekend (and free).
Overall, it was not a bad stay. It was one of the cheaper Marriott hotel options over the weekend, so it wins solely for that and a nice location.

This property should be rebadged as a Fairfield Inn. But even that would be generous since Fairfield properties at least offer breakfast. I stayed here in September 2020 and understood the excuse for stripped down service but in September 2021 this Marriott is laughable. Not only did I not receive any room upgrade or complimentary item as a Titanium Elite Bonvoy member but they also tried to place me in a room next to the elevator. Had to return to the front desk to be reassigned. Thankfully I used Redmond’s generous street parking rules to avoid the garage fees.
Contrast this with my experience the previous evening at the Courtyard Pioneer Square where I received a complimentary upgrade to a corner room with fabulous Sound views and a complimentary food or beverage item from the canteen.

I stayed here to escape the heat for a few days. Booked using a remote-work deal that came with a few perks that made it super easy to work from my room. Great WiFi (I upgraded because of Zoom meetings), large desk with plenty of outlets to keep devices charged, peace & quiet, and great A/C. Shower and bed rounded out the experience for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep.
Location is really good, part of the Redmond Town Center, so food and shops are right across the street. I highly recommend Kitanda for breakfast…get the Brazilian latte, so good. Great independent bookstore across the street.
Parking was in a garage with easy in and out using room key. Pool looked inviting, but I didn’t get to check it out.
Appreciated the extra COVID precautions, including a freshly cleaned remote.
