We thoroughly enjoyed this property! Reservation ladies where helpful and very kind. We where welcomed by Dana, and she was excellent!
The breakfast and evening Bistro staff where very friendly, and made our dining experience very nice. The complimentary breakfast was a good start to the day.
The bistro was transformed into a cozy evening restaurant after 4:30pm, our meals where very yummy.
We stayed in a deluxe king suite with lake view. We where more than pleased with our room, it was very clean and nicely layed out.
I added the romance package, the wine was good and we loved the keepsake glasses, my husband loves Purdys:) the late checkout at 1pm was a nice treat! We had our breaky than enjoyed the hot tub one last time!
The hot tub was perfect temp and very clean, who ever does chemical balance knows what they are doing!
The house keeping staff where friendly as well.
We asked if we could possibly see a penthouse suite, the gal at reservations in the morning was very sweet and showed us one. It was beautiful.
The only recommendation I can give is a bar in bathroom just under clothing hook, something to hold onto when getting out of tub:)
Cheers to all of you ! Excellent job and wonderful place. We will return

I’m currently sitting by the pool before leaving this hotel tomorrow morning after a 3 night stay. We have had a fabulous time. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was super clean and had everything we needed. The front desk even called about 1/2 hour after check in to make sure we had everything we needed. We have been staying in room 213 which is in a great location (facing the pool so no highway noise). This suite is dog friendly and has been fabulous. The other people staying at the hotel have all been easy going and friendly. It is very kid (and dog) friendly here and I would highly recommend for families. We are not travelling with kids but I have seen a lot of kids with smiles on their faces while swimming etc. Having a fully functioning kitchen has also been great!!!! They also have a BBQ area right next to the pool with tables for families to sit at. This place has met all of our needs and is clean and comfortable without being pretentious. I have recommended it to my friends who often visit the area and I know I will be back again in the future!
As other guests have mentioned, the buildings are starting to show their age on the outside but this did not impact my stay at all.

This accommodation is beyond expectations. The cleanliness of rooms is amazing, they supply coffee and other goods daily, and if you're away they will leave it on your door in a secured bag. They allow pets and have a little area to run your pups!
They even give you little doggy bags for your pup along with treats.
The rooms were very clean, and had clean dishes in the dishwasher for your use. They provide everything in the room to dish soap, clean dish towels, very clean linens and bathroom towels.
Front desk is very accommodating and kind! During COVID the lobby was very clean, and seem to practice COVID Protocol, etc. Would definitely recommend!
Very glad we stayed here!

The place is great. I think it was built as a resort hotel so the rooms are quite large, nice kitchen, nicely appointed rooms. My only complaint was having the outside security light shining in through the bedroom blinds. Finally gave up sleeping at 4am and wrote this review. This won’t bother everyone, my husband happily slept through to morning.

The pool looks wonderful, the people looked to really be enjoying it.

The bed and sheets are comfy (why can’t I find sheets like this to purchase for home?

The coffee supplied in the room in One Coffee brand Keurigs which is good coffee for a keurig. You have to bring your own cream if you are so inclined. The front desk calls you everyday to make sure everything is well with the room since they don’t provide housekeeping during your stay (thanks covid).

The rooms are nicely decorated, the one oddity is the vessel sink in the bathroom is awkwardly high and I imagine too high for children.

I did research on this place and the reviews were good so we booked. This hotel is off the highway and its facade, with "tower" to make it look like a castle was a bit tacky. The entrance lobby/ front desk could use some new decor but that's where it ended. You park your car around the back and find your way to your room past well tended flower beds. Every room in this hotel is a suite. We had a king suite with of course, a king bed, large bedroom area, good sized living area that consisted of sofa, chair, small dining table and a full kitchen. Full French doors led to a balcony that overlooked wonderfully landscaped areas and a swimming pool. The restaurant is open to guests only on Friday and Saturday nights but they do takeout so we ordered our meals and picked them up. Tasty food and good prices. Would definitely recommend this place.

This spot is outside of Vernon so you're away from the hub bub of the town. The suites are nicely done and there's everything you could need or want to make you comfortable.
We travel with our dog as she's a good family member. Unfortunately the hotel booked a family with young children above is. The noise of pitter patter thundering children went until 10 pm and started at 7 am. It was very distracting and had the dog barking which she never does. I recommended to the hotel they not put children above a room with adults and a dog and was told it couldn't be helped. Disappointed in that final. Two days is enough of this noise

This is not a place for peace and quiet but keep the doors closed you can enjoy a beautiful view of Swan Lake just beyond the busy highway below. We were on the west side on the second floor. The room itself was well appointed but very little privacy as the bedrooms have no doors and the upstair shower/tub is in the open. Plus the shower was designed with very short people in mind. The hotel is at the North end of Vernon but driving anywhere was easy. The hotel serves as a good spot for those looking to visit vineyards or play some great golf tracks. Finally, the food we ordered in from the hotel restaurant was very good. Overall, it wasn’t the experience we were expecting but the place served its purpose.

We called to request early check in since we were ahead of schedule and front desk said we could check in at 130. Upon arrival she stated it still wasn’t done but she’d switch it around and give us the “emergency room” instead as ours wasn’t ready, which was so appreciated. We entered the room and there was finger prints and sticky mess on the microwave and fridge door, the bottom drawer of the oven was hanging and there was left over garbage in the garbage bag in the kitchen. The coffee table opens and my daughter found someone’s travel neck pillow and a Gatorade label left behind. I called and asked someone to come and reclean the room and they said housekeeping was gone for the day but they’d be by in the morning. The next day she dropped a toy behind the couch so I pulled it out and the amount of dust, dirt, a loonie and someone’s ear plugs confirmed no one had cleaned under there in many of stays. We checked out shortly after that as I was quite grossed out, the lady at the front was unfriendly and didn’t smile once and I decided it wasn’t worth my while to even complain. I did laugh at the sign at the front desk which speaks to their “top to bottom sanitization with the same products used in health care facilities” to prevent spread of the virus. This room was hardly even cleaned, let alone sanitized.

The hot tub was broken, there was only one pool towel for the 10 people that were out there. The freezer wasn’t cold. We were provided 2 towels for a family staying in a suite. The only highlight was that it was Vernon rib fest and we got a delicious rib dinner lol. Wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed here because we wanted a room with a view. The room was nice and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable, but there was constant road noise from the highway and the view was obstructed by heavy electrical wires outside the front of the building. If you have any sort of mobility issue, be aware that the rooms are built into a hill and most are not accessible by an elevator. Although there are ramps, they are steep and can be difficult to push luggage up to the car park. The furnishings are nice, but there are also odd things, like the plates being in a cupboard above the fridge, that create inconveniences or problems. We stayed in a room that had two bathrooms, but only one had a hair drier. The food at the restaurant was fantastic, as was the service, but some of silverware was dirty and my husband's water was full of pollen. The attentive waitress immediately corrected both problems when we pointed these things out.

Nice property and large rooms with excellent beds.Very nice kitchen stocked with everything you need. The location is quiet and away from the city. The people were friendly each day we stayed.
We were disappointed that the hotel did not provide the included breakfast at all! Regardless of using the excuse about Covid 19 and regulations prohibiting it , we found it strange as every hotel and bed and breakfast that we stayed at in British Columbia had no problem serving breakfast ? The other brand name hotels we stayed at served a full buffet breakfast daily and the B & B's just made some alterations on achieving the same. We checked with the BC Government on the issue, breakfast could have been served.....so you may draw your own conclusions? Maybe check with them before booking?

Dear VancouverWomble, As a small, non chain property, we made the choice to not run a buffet breakfast in an effort to keep our guests and staff safe. There is no way to run a buffet breakfast and change every spoon every single time someone touches one or to stop coughing that may contaminate buffet servings. We have fully stocked kitchens at our property and a grocery store right across the road and this seems to be working fine for most guests. Absolutely, if breakfast is important you should always call and verify with the property if they are running one, Take care and be safe, Jacqueline
