Best place to stay in Creemore - ON.

After conducting a ton of research, my wife and I had an opportunity to stay at the Sequel Inn and Event Farm and we have to say that everything including the hosts were fantastic.

The property has a ton of relaxing activities and things to keep you occupied, including a massive pool, hotub and plenty of indoor space for reading and relaxing with family or friends.

Food - the farm to table breakfast was delicious and most items came straight from the garden.

Accommodation - the room had all your typical modern amenities and was well appointed with farm style decor and furniture.

Looking forward to our next visit.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lovely and laid back owners Lisa and Eric. They quickly gave us a tour of the immaculate home and well-appointed outdoor space.
Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Lots of common areas to sit and unwind, and outdoor space galore for scenic walks and fresh air. As I walked out to my car to grab some luggage I was given another impromptu greeting by their son Cameron. He gave me a personal tour of his flourishing veg garden, much of which is used for the food served on site. Speaking of food, breakfast was a definite highlight. Fresh baked goods, beautiful fruit salad, and delicious quiche made by Eric. Walls of the dining area are adorned by reviews of their previous lives as successful Toronto restauranteurs, so you know you are in good hands there.

This family has truly created a warm and inviting place to unwind. A postcard of a property, with clean & modern amenities, where you are truly treated like family.

Our only complaint was that we only booked one night. Looking forward to visiting again next summer!

Incredible hosts in a stunning, very luxurious setting with all the amenities you need and more! The rooms are beautifully appointed with breathtaking unobstructed views of the trees and landscape. Modern bathrooms, impeccably clean with comfortable beds and fabulous bedding. Very quiet and serene setting. We slept with the windows open and could hear the trees and a bit of the river - it was so relaxing and exactly what we needed. The breakfast was delicious and more than anyone could ever need and set us up for a wonderful day, including a great walk with the Host Eric around the property before we left. We can't wait to return and highly recommend!

Lisa and Eric were absolute gems. Lisa, helped us out with planning lifts and rides to and from a fundraiser in the area. Eric had a delicious spread of fresh baked and homemade scones and banana bread which were out of this world! The accommodations were simply perfect and we just loved it. Excited to go back!

Sequel Inn was a great experience for our group who was in town for a concert. Lisa and Eric where very welcoming and went out of their way to help us make arrangements for accomodation and also to get to and from our concert venue. The Sequel Inn property is beautiful, and the rooms were lovely and exactly what we needed. Lisa and Eric also provided late night snacks and a delicious breakfast, Eric is quite a baker! They have a background in events and catering so the full experience from arrival to departure is well thought out and they consider your needs at each step (late night cookies and water is a great example of that). Our experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend this spot for groups, girls weekend, etc.

We stayed at this Sequel Inn Creemore during a very busy weekend. Our options were limited but came across this place online and decided to give it a try.

The location is good – not a bad distance to the mountains 40 min and is easy to find. The owner is somewhat friendly but doesn’t really make one feel all that comfortable.

The B&B itself is quite nice as long as you are staying in the upper rooms. – there are 3. I am not sure of the amenities in the rooms. The eating area and sitting/lounge areas are quite nice as well. As this place is relatively new, there are some things still under construction including the exercise/fitness room.

Having said that, our room was quite the opposite to the above.

The room in the basement we were given had no blinds on the windows, was extremely cold, had no working TV, no alarm clock, no bathrobes nor a place to even hang clothing. It was basically like being in an unfinished basement.

At the time of booking the reservation we were re-assured that the room would be beautiful, and that although there was not a full bathroom – en-suite, there was a shower – full bathroom down the hall . We were also told we would be the only ones occupying the entire lower level as the people who they had renting the place were away for the weekend.

When we arrived, the other room (there are 3 in the basement – 2 without en-suite) had some luggage in it…

Later on, we then were informed that they had to let some people rent the other room for the night as they had nowhere else to stay. What we realized is that they had indeed rented out that room (as it was their luggage we saw earlier the room) then made up a story stating that it was some kind of emergency. The next morning both the people who stayed in the other room and their luggage was gone.

Misleading/Dishonest or desperate to make money - to say the least. We were not even offered a key to lock our room, we had to ask for one once we realized someone else would be staying in the basement as well.

At the price we paid, and the accommodations we received, it was extremely disappointing. Perhaps it would be ok for backpackers or those who are looking for an inexpensive alternative but at $240 for an unfinished cold room with a shared shower, not at all worth it.

Unfortunate, as we travel to the area often, stay in a lot of very nice hotels and resorts both there and all over the world and tend to frequent the ones we enjoy often.

I just wanted to respond to your negative review. Unfortunately I was not there the night of your stay and cannot attest to your experience. If I had personally known that you were so terribly unhappy, then make a phone call, let me know so that I can remedy the situation. I too am a world traveler, I regret renting to you last minute for the family day weekend. It seemed like you did not have another option when the reservation came in, as I know the area was fully booked. That is why I accepted your reservation. Please accept my sincerest apologies and let me know how I can make it up to you. I would appreciate you contacting us to discuss, and removing this review. Thank you!

Eric and Lisa gave us the run of the property and the master suite while we were in the area for a wedding. Both were more then happy to discuss their backgrounds and what had led a gourmet chef and marketing executive to delve into the premier hospitality scene while we enjoyed several tasty breakfast choices.
Even though Booking.com had cancelled our reservation, my wife confirmed our stay with Lisa and our weekend stay was one to remember at Sequel Inn.

We spent a night at Sequel Inn and vow to return with friends. The Inn is located down a bumpy, dirt road which doesn't live up to its billing as the Garden of Eden! The setting is glorious. The Inn has been very tastefully renovated with no art on the walls - who needs art when you have masses of windows with natural art to see! We had a king bed room upstairs which was very well furnished and a soft bed with a duvet (perhaps, a bit on the heavy side for October). Great en suite bathroom, too. Our host was charming and informative and we vowed to return with friends to take advantage of the area around Creemore. My only reservation is the price per room. Perhaps a bit steep given that it was `off season`..

From the moment we were greeted at the door, we felt so welcome by the warm hospitality of Lisa, Eric & Cameron. They made our stay so enjoyable. Their beautiful home was modern country chic. (no sign of Holly Hobby)
The bedrooms were well appointed and our every whim taken care of ...a walk in the woods, a soak in the hot tub, a gourmet dinner, a fireside chat & a delicious breakfast...one night just wasn't enough!
Thank you for an amazing experience and great birthday celebration with "the girls"

Hello Jessie, yes we are still in business. We apologize for our office not getting in touch with you. All inquiries are via email . The Inn has been fully rented out over the past 18 months to a family. We have been working hard to fine tuning the grounds and we now offer produce to our guests from our 1 acre True Food Farm Gardens. Please try us again and hope to have you stay with us at our special Inn.
