Detailed Reviews
Absolutely no customer service from so called Manager. Never heard of 3pm checkin in winter months as Manager lives onsite. I didn’t need to hear repeatedly how underpaid the Manager is that he only works between 3pm to 7pm. Terrible attitude. Nice campground but Manager is not gaining any points for future stays.

Room Tip: Make sure you call before pulling into the campground in case the manager won’t let you checkin....

We just stayed overnight and didn't explore much but the sites are larger than many campgrounds like this, and the spots are clean and flat. Not too expensive, and surprisingly quiet considering it is right next to Westerner Park.
Reasonably priced though not cheap, it's a good spot to stay if you want to be right in Red Deer.

Conference center was huge and well suited for large conference. The chairs were a bit noisy in one hall due to the leather like materials it’s made of. Lots of bathrooms and all well maintained as well.

Terrible landlords
Their rules flip back and forth like a schizophrenic!
Even though they say they’re pet friendly, don’t bring a pet because if your dog dares to pee on the grass they will keep your $300 deposit!
Even though we’re in the middle of a pandemic and people are out of work, they will still raise your rent to seasonal rate even though parks are supposed to be closed!
This is a “last resort” campground!

We stayed one night on our way through Red Deer. It is a very cramped campground with not much going for it. Backed on to a busy road so pretty noisy. Didn't use the bathrooms or laundry but everything required payment. Water and power were OK. Lots and lots of rules.

Have stayed here several times passing through on holidays. This is a great campground that is open all year round. Paved throughout, large sites, some pull throughs and a few year round residents. Very quiet, treed and exceptionally clean. Right next to the rodeo grounds and close to several RV dealership.

Some of the negative reviews here are a bit unfair. Let’s be clear up front: This is not a “destination campground” like Crimson Lake or Wilderness Village or anything like that. You’re not coming here to camp just for the fun of it. That said, it’s a great place to stay if you are working in the area long term but temporary, if you’re visiting family, are here for an event, or are in between homes because your possession dates didn’t line up, and/or you’re doing a major home renovation (like us). We just finished up a month long stay while we waited for our new house to be ready - the park is kept very clean, there’s a reasonable number of trees (although they don’t provide privacy), the managers are friendly and as helpful as they can be within the rules, and the laundry and bathroom facilities are also kept super clean. The location is convenient to everything on the south side as well as gasoline alley, and the monthly rate is pretty reasonable. Drawbacks are noise from 595/19th street (ask for a site that doesn’t bavk into the road and then it’s not so bad) and the sites are pretty narrow without a lot of room to “spread out” lots of chairs in a circle to visit. But overall we were happy with our stay and found it convenient and comfortable and would recommend it to others.

This campground has easy access from QE2 highway and is located beside an exhibition grounds. Only about 1/3 of the sites are actually pull-through so reserve ahead if that's what you need. All the sites have full services and are well treed with enough green space to enjoy a BBQ or campfire. The wifi is free but has a 1 gigabyte cap. The washroom and laundry facilities are well maintained and clean. A shower will cost you though?!? The evenings were quite and peaceful, however I would imagine this could change if an event at the exhibition park were being held. The campground is located very close to shopping, some great restaurants and a multitude of RV dealers. There is also a huge off-leash dog park with nice walking paths just to the east of the property. Good exercise for you and your mutt!

This campsite is cramped and in need of some work. We were here for 4 nights, in the rain, and the sites were muddy when they could have been gravelled or paved. You pay for everything at this site. Wifi costs, showers cost, etc. Plenty of full time residents (oil workers) so it appears a busy place.
