Our experience in Unit 204 at Villa Renaissance was an outstanding experience and beyond our expectations!! The unit is perfectly appointed with everything for your needs. The owners have spared no attention to the detail of the unit. The kitchen has everything you may need, bedrooms are beautiful and extremely comfortable each with their own bathroom with shower. Beautiful deck with ocean view to sip your coffee in the morning or your cocktail in the evening. Gorgeous beach with water so blue you can't stop enjoying the view! It was difficult to pack our belongings to come home, we wanted to stay forever.

With this being our first trop to TCI, my wife and I were very thoughtful about where we would stay. We decided not to stay at an all inclusive because we wanted to see the island and try the local restaurants. We spent days reading reviews and comparing prices before we decided on Villa Renaissance. We stayed 6 nights, and we truly feel Villa Renaissance was the perfect choice for us.
The resort is walking distance(less than 10 min) from many restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. We used the resort's free bike rentals to hit a few spots that were outside of our comfortable walking distance. Most importantly, our room(601) was only 30 seconds away from Grace Bay Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. You can't beat that for the price that we paid.
The resort had everything that we needed. The beach always had available beach chairs, the kitchen had every appliance and accessory, the bedroom had closet space, and the housekeeping stopped by every day. The staff and management are very accommodating. Big shout outs to Dijah and Novie at the concierge desk who happily answered all of our questions and hooked us up with towels, bike locks, reservations, and whatever else we needed. A special thank you goes out to the property's general manager, Sandeep, who went above and beyond to help make our stay more memorable. Because of our experience Villa Renaissance will be at the top of our list if we return to Turks & Caicos.

This property is amazing and is well staff, the staff is always there to assist in anything needed. The rooms had great views (with fully retractable wall to wall glass door) and all the items you would need while away from home (games, tennis rackets et cetra). The great thing is they will load the dish washer with dishes from the day before and start it, when you come back to your room later in the day its all clean, nice touch of service. The property connects directly to the beach, where there are chairs and umbrellas for your use. This property is very walkable to different ristorante and shops.

We arrived to find that they had booked our room for the wrong year! All of my documentation had the correct year on it, but they had put our reservation in their system for a whole year later! So...... instead of us getting the 3 bedroom unit we booked, they had to scramble to find us a 2 bedroom unit and my daughter's 6'2" boyfriend had to sleep on the small rollaway bed for 2 nights that was way too small. After 2 nights in this unit (it was dirty and needed repairs), they then moved us to another 2 bedroom unit which had a pull-out couch that was a little better, but still not as comfortable as having your own bedroom. On our second to last day, I went to the front desk to ask for a late checkout and the lady said it was no problem and that they did not have anyone checking into our room until the next day. The next day, I stopped by to ask a question and the guy at the front desk said we needed to vacate the room immediately because they had to clean it for someone else checking in. The lack of communication between the staff at this hotel is not doing them any favors and is going to cause more negative reviews if they don't get it together. The location is great and the facilities should be updated and it could be really nice, but of the two units we stayed in, the decor is a little dated. I would say if you want a prime location and investigate and triple confirm that the unit you booked is the same one you are going to get, then it would be ok to stay at, but if they screw up your reservation, then you could end up in an older unit that needs updating.

I can’t say enough nice things about this great condo. It was impeccably clean and had very nice furnishings. The condo itself was beautiful and felt huge for two people. The condo complex was equally clean and well maintained. The pool was just downstairs from the condo and had lots of chairs available. There is a convenient food and drink bar at the pool that we were able to take advantage of. Everyone working at the complex was super friendly and helpful. Thanks, Brikell, for helping us have a great stay!
The location could not have been better – right on the beach and was a short walk to several nearby restaurants, shopping areas – and ice cream shops! There is a small convenience store across Grace Bay Road in the Salt Mills shopping center. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the Graceway Gourmet grocery store. A short walk down the beach takes you to Hemingways, The Deck, and other restaurants.
A friendly attendant at the beach helped with setting up beach loungers and umbrellas. We didn’t have any trouble getting a beach chair/lounger. Speaking of the beach, the sand is probably the softest/finest sand I’ve seen...really powdery. And the water was just as gorgeous as the pictures! There was even some shared ‘floaties’ available at the beach for adults and kids. If you like long beaches, you’ll love Grace Bay - it goes on forever.
The condo has a few amenities that weren’t necessarily in the description: Two small coolers for the beach A roller cart to take to the grocery store Coffee was provided for the coffee maker There was a selection of spices, salt, pepper, spray oil in the cabinet. Bath towels were replaced daily and beach/pool towels were readily available poolside.

I’ve stayed in this unit three times for a ladies getaway and was delighted to see that there is a Peloton bike in it now!! Kitchen has everything you need, balcony with chairs and table for outdoor dining, comfy bed, beautiful bathroom, and a stunning view of perfectly manicured grounds framed by palm trees. The pool is perfect for dipping in or swimming laps, and the beach is honestly the best beach I’ve been to in my entire life! The water is crystal blue and the sand is as soft as powder.
The best perk of Villa Renaissance is that it’s a smaller, more personal accommodation. You’ll never be fighting for an open lounge chair at the pool or in the beach because it’s never crowded. The staff are nothing but helpful and courteous.
Can’t wait to book my trip again next year on unit 504!

This is the perfect combination of staying in a beautiful condo right on Grace Bay with amenities such as bar, great food, pool, beach with chairs and umbrellas and beach help. This part of the beach will never be crowded due to the relative small size of Vila Renaissance vs a large resort hotel. If you are looking to relax on an beach, rated as #1 in the world, this is the place. The condo we stayed in 504 is decorated beautifully and has a living room with pull out couch, dining room, veranda, master bedroom, full bath and fully equipped kitchen. In addition to large screen tv, the unit also has a Peleton bike- just in case you feel the need to work out. Wifi included in the unit and on the beach. The final great feature is that it is within walking distance of so many of the great restaurants on the island. PS- if you are into water sports- boats stop by all day to pick up customers.

This is my 4th trip to Villa Renaissance and I cannot wait to return. Perfect location to shopping and great restaurants. The resort is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly. When I was in the workout room someone came in to sanitize the equipment. My friends and I enjoyed bike rides as well as playing pickle ball. Cocktails in the hot tub was a great way to close out each beach day.

Just came back from a long weekend girls trip to Villa Renaissance and once again it was heaven on earth. The resort is just so perfect in every way, not too crowded, excellent central location for shopping and dining, with a super wide beach area and pristine water just steps away from the rooms. We stayed in unit 504 and our host Anna could not have been more helpful and resourceful when it came to finding places to eat and things to do. The 1-bedroom unit easily fits several adults with a King bed, a pull-out couch and daybed. Finally, the pool has always been beautiful but I was so happy to use the hot tub which is now heated, well done VR! The new bikes were really nice as well! Overall just another great stay which always leaves me longing to come back as soon as possible.

Disclaimer: we are a vaccinated family that wore masks in public.
Thanks to TA for all the great advice. Took the risk of travelling to TCI to return to Grace Bay. Villa Renaissance(VR) has it all. Seclusion, location on Grace bay, and access to food services. VR is located behind a shopping plaza with plenty of food options. It is a small resort, so the crowds were low and plenty of social distancing. The management and staff are wonderful. All the guests were from USA, happy to have some sort of "normalcy" on vacation.
Grace Bay was beautiful but windy. We went to Taylor bay and it was so calm that the kids asked to return to the waves at Grace Bay. The only decision every day was beach or pool. Nearby are two large hotels, seven stars and ritz carlton. RC will open in the future but is the size of a Las Vegas hotel.
Da Conch Shack was packed on Wednesday night, but everyone had masks and the outdoor dining was spaced at least 6 feet apart and was outside. The music was fabulous.
We love the popular restaurants and we ate at Coco Bistro, but we tried the locals restaurants too: Turks Kebab and The pork shack. Please try the small restaurants; here in America some of the best food can be found at the smaller restaurants.
All hotels and restaurants have 22 percent tax which includes a mandatory service charge. We went to seven stars for our testing to return to USA. Lastly, we rented a car to drive around, but driving is a little crazy and follows UK rules. If you do not drive when overseas, please be careful!
