minutes walk to Las Ramblas and metro/buses..bright clean hotel and bedrooms..luggage storage was great as we arrived early and departed late..nice restaurant next door...our only negative was that we were given 2 single beds which kept moving apart, instead of a double

My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights. The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by restaurants and little supermarkets as well as a lot of attractions. We checked in easily. Our room was quite small but very modern and the bathroom was lovely, also very modern with a very powerful shower.
The downside is that we only had one window and it was tiny, it looked out onto other windows in a small block so now street view or anything. These windows were other people's rooms and bathrooms with the water pipe at the bottom. This meant we could hear when anyone went to the loo or had a shower which was quite annoying. The walls are thin and so it is quite noisy if the people around your room talk you can hear it. We had to keep the window closed to keep noise to a minimum.
We didn't use the restaurant part and so can't comment on that. We would stay here again , it was very convenient for what we wanted and so close to the metro. Nice modern hotel and for the a,punt of time you spend in the room it doesn't really matter that the window was small. Just the noise that was annoying at times. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is a 3 star surprise. Very busy hotel. Centrally located. Beside the metro and funicular to Monjuic. The hotel has large lockers for luggage storage. You pay €2. We checked out and left our luggage in the locker all day until we had to go for flight that evening.
Hotel has a taxi rank just outside. Taxi to Airport €30approx. Bus from place de España to El Prat is €6
Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. We were upgraded to a superior room. The room was very clean, spacious with balcony overlooking the avenue parallel with the Olympic stadium in the distance. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was 4star quality. There was a beautiful restaurant connected to the hotel which offered some lovely meals.

there was some building work being done in the area when we were there during december 2014. close to the tube station, quite central location, rooms are nice and clean, breakfast was OK however the lift and hallways were slightly dark. reception friendly and professional. the next door restaurant do OK food as well. Theres an amazing sushi restaurant a few mins from the hotel as well

In the street side rooms sound proof windows are needed. It was impossible to sleep because people were yelling and screaming under the window the whole night. People party at restaurants near by weekends and they end yelling 8 am in the morning. I had to stay awake all night long. Workers are Ok but they couldn't help with this problem because window had no sound proof as it should have. I had to listen party people yelling whole night outside. People yelling outside near the hotels windows were local catalans and not tourists as you may think first. It was not nice to stay awake whole night and then travel away tired. Party people don't care about others sleeping this is a party city. I thought restaurant in the hotel to be open only in the day and evening but I think it was open whole night and also restaurants near by open all night long. Party people don't care if others want to sleep. It was a mistake to come here and think if could sleep well. If you are a party person you will love this hotel and this zone Parallel party zone.
