Brand new hotel - World class Architecture and design. They have taking care of every detail at the hotel.
The rooms are almost perfect.

Santiago was extremely friendly and very helpful at all times. He went out of his way to help us.
I would suggest a more “set”recommendation for restaurants ie less options for those unfamiliar with Barcelona, 2-3 options opposed to 20… can be very overwhelming.
Hotel restaurant was very good. Room was lovely! The little touches across the hotel from the gin bar to the bike options to the map were very considered.
Overall we would highly recommend this hotel.

We would highly recommend this hotel. From being greeted with a friendly chat at reception to checking out, we found staff very friendly and helpful. The room decor was of a very high standard and was immaculately clean and surprisingly quiet given that we looked out on a busy square.
We had drinks in the bar when we returned each night and the bar staff were lovely. We love smaller but high quality hotels and Antigua Casa Buenavistas definitely hit the mark!

From walking through the door we were made very welcome - even tho we were early. The staff could not have done more to help and we were given a comprehensive list of restaurant and bar recommendations for our stay - of the five places on the list that we tried all were excellent. They also recommended some sight seeing that wasn't on our list and it was well worth the visit.
The hotel itself is super-clean, quiet and the room was excellent. We really enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool after a long day of exploring the City. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a wide range of food on offer and we also ate in the restaurant one evening, which again was great with excellent service.
The location was excellent with some great bars and restaurants nearby and only a short walk to the Metro and also the busy centre.
We couldn't fault it.

Antiga Casa Buenavsta hotel is brand new so don't be put off by limited reviews - this is why!
We are a couple in our 30's and recently stayed for 4 nights for a weekend city break. The hotel was incredible, literally couldn't fault it. High end decor, designed to keep with the building's history but with an expensive, modern finish. Rooms are stunning, well equipped and quiet from the busy streets outside. The beds are comfy and the use of space is spot on.
The staff are extremely attentive and made us feel well looked after during our stay.
The pool is small but it's a perfect oasis after being out in the city. there are about 8 beds, but the hotel is not massive, so there is usually always space - at least there was for us.
The breakfast is continental so your usual croissants, pastries fruit etc and ypur choice of eggs.
Location is central - 5 mins from La Rambla, just a little further to the gothic quarter where we spend most of our trip.
We couldn't fault the place, we highly recommend it.
Feedback to the hotel (which may come over time) is to have a small drinks bar by the pool our service to provide drinks as this is the only TINY detail that we could think of if we were being critical.
Overall 10/10, if in doubt BOOK IT!
