We wanted to find a Vancouver Island Indigenous gift store. We found more than we expected. They have clothing, carvings, art, jewelry, home decor and more.
We were very impressed with the amount of things they had on display. This is a large building with lots of room to move around and check things out. And, the employees were very friendly and helpful.

The Wei Wai Kum House of Treasures is located in the Discovery Harbour Shopping Center and it's an amazingly beautiful West-Coast, First-Nation building housing an excellent collection of art, clothing, cards, masks, and many souvenirs to bring home!
The service is personable and there's something for everyone. Well worth the visit.

I stopped in and didn't end up buying anything. They had some beautiful wood art on the walls. One thing I was disappointed in was some stuff was made in USA , would prefer to see just local instead. Staff was friendly.

We stopped in on our way out of Campbell River after breakfast and they open at 10:am. They have a beautiful selection of high end clothing and art work and also very affordable scarves, books and hundreds of items. Quality and quantity.

We found this place as we headed towards the river. It is nestled next to boats and amongst other business places.
The place has good, free parking . It is a large shop with good lighting. The variety of goods available is impressive, with some terrific works of art. There were also more affordable items for tourists to buy which are native designed or made.
The store Manager helped us and added to our stop with her information and demeanor.
We loved the place. We encourage others to stop and check it out.

Anyone looking for First Nation's art by local Vancouver Island artists should stop here. You first see the totem poles out in front of the gallery and the lovely building is reminiscent of a long house. Staff is very informed about the artists who have their masks, paddles, prints and other works of art for sale. There is also a large selection of souvenirs from clothing to coffee mugs.
