Good beer, food & service

Enjoyed a stop here - good beer choices and suggestions from our server were spot on based on our expressed preferences. Food menu not large but gave enough variety that both of us found something of interest and were pleased with the choices. Veggie quesedilla for one was well prepared and presented and the chicken / bacon club was nicely different from fast food type bar fare. overall a good find and I would go back on another visit to Campbell River

great stop over

Looking for a break in our trip to Brown's Bay we stumbled across this brewery on line as it was conveniently located not far from the Island highway. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they offered some Vegan options to boot. I would highly recommend the Coastal Estate Hand Crafted Apple Cider. For someone who doesn't ordinarily order anything but wine I found it an enjoyable alternative on a hot day & reminiscent of 'Scrumpy' English cider. Food was good too ordering the Avocado Nut Salad, only disappointed that I was hard pressed to find many nuts. My partner ordered Fish Tacos which were also tasty. Really liked the lay out and rustic décor. Would definitely go back.

Great lunch and brew pub in Campbell river

We stopped in for lunch and sat in the back patio area. The rotating menu had lots of great choices including salads, quesadillas, burritos, soups etc. We had the big salad with chicken and the quesadillas were excellent. Service was good and we would definitely go back. Ginger lemonade on tap was yummy.

No food at dinner time!

Just don’t go there at 5:30 PM expecting to have dinner… We called ahead and they said they were open till 8 PM. However, once we arrived at 5:30 PM, we were told immediately on entering that the kitchen was closed. So this review is not a reflection of the food quality because we have no idea! But the way they operate is extremely poor. Our advice call ahead and don’t just check if they’re open… Check to see if they’re still serving food at dinner time. !

Definitely Be Back

Stopped in for lunch while on a quick visit to Campbell River. Highly recommend stopping in for great food and beer. We tried the stout and red amber ale. Both excellent. We had the spicy chicken quesadillas (best I've had in quite a while) and the Mac and Cheese (very rich and flavorful). Service was excellent. A really nice space with interesting art. Indoor and patio options.

I had a wonderful time with my friends and had the Nitro stout. I had the chicken club. After viewing the online photos it looked amazing. Sadly, mine was disappointing. The chicken might have been a quarter breast, and one strip of bacon. The rest of the groups meals looked as in photos. The nitro stout was quite good and if you enjoy stout I would recommend highly. The 3 star because of the burger shown vs received. Service was good, ambiance was good and overall good experience. We will be back but won’t order the chicken club.

Great selection of beer

One of our friends knows the owner and told us how great the beers were. The staff were great and the service was superb! I had a taster tray to start, 4 mini glasses and all were great tasting each with its own distinct taste. They served food as well but I only partook of the chips and salsa which were good. Had the Red and the stout to end off the afternoon visit. I will be back!

Really cool decor, laid back experience with simple food menu that overloads you with choices. Big outdoor area in the back and nice smaller patio in the front. Nice staff and friendly service. They have a decent beer selection.

Around the corner from my Mom's place!

It's great having a craft brewery within walking distance when I visit Campbell River. In the summer I enjoy the Summer Saison and in colder weather, the Stout. I haven't had the food but the salsa was a big hit at a family party. My sister keeps my growlers handy as an enticement to visit from Ontario more often.

Great Spot

We don’t live in Campbell River, but make a point to come here as often as we can. The food is amazing!!! Always something different on their menu board and we have enjoyed everything we have tried. It’s a good thing having a rotating menu, but sometimes it doesn’t work in our favor��only because when we find something we love, love, love, we may not see it on the menu again for awhile. This place is decorated beautifully and probably has the nicest bathroom I have ever seen. Beer is always cold and delicious and they have small batches weekly, but seem to sell out before the weekend arrives. We would definitely recommend checking Beach Fire out, you won’t be disappointed!!

This place is AMAZING!

What a great spot we happened into on our trip! If I were a local, I’d spend WAY too much time and money here! Our waitress was fabulous and so kind. The food was delicious in every way. Each one of our meals was spot on and the Tuesday night small batch was just perfect! What a great way to end our trip to Campbell River! I just wished I could get the beer back home. Hopefully they will consider packaging it soon!

Must stop in Campell River

Local brewery with good variety of both food and local craft beers. Bartender and wait staff very attentative & very friendly. Creative menu with several good choices- all homemade! Kitchen small so be prepared to wait but well worth it!

End of the Road Drinks

This is a fun place where the locals go. It's a great place to go, hang out and people watch. The beer selection is OK and the pizzas were good. When you walk in you order your drinks and food then find a seat. The staff at the till were efficient and effective but not exactly the most outgoing.

Brilliant service

Great atmosphere, tasty beer, friendly customers, very helpful bar staff. Menu looked good but we didn’t try it. When our taxi failed to arrive one of the servers sorted out a ride home for us - with the owner of the brewery and pub, saving us a longish wet walk . Exceptional service!! Definitely recommend

Unpleasant service

Our waiter was aggressive and rude. He brought the wrong beer, disputed what we had originally ordered, reluctantly brought the correct order, and acted like a petulant child for the rest of the evening. The beer was good, the burritos were average, and the rest of the staff were pleasant and and helpful.
