- Harry4 contributionsWe had a great day out on the water with Bex. We enjoyed sitting up the front of the boat chatting and learning about the area.
Managed to see humpback whales, orca, sealions, opportunistic seals and bird life.
The covered boat was the perfect choice for the raining day, and the lunch was tasty.

The naturalist was knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about her whales. Cap’n John regaled us with history including his experiences having grown up in the area. We saw so much wildlife.....humpback whales, orcas, eagles, seals, and of course grizzly bears......5 of them.....and the important thing was that they were in their own habitat. Although the bears were really close at times we felt totally safe with our guide Stewert. Captain John and Zoe were great on the boat too. We had a delicious lunch and snacks too. The tour totally fulfilled all our dreams and expectations....I can't recommend it enough. We saw humpback whales doing the bubble net method, so dpecisl!! additionally we saw seals, sealions, knocked out hake and numerous eagles feeding off them. Spectacular! She was friendly, knowledgeable of the area and wildlife and expertly manoeuvred the zodiac so we could see orcas, humpbacks, dolphins, sea lions and seals. We covered a huge area with the zodiac and it was such a fun ride.
Top marks to the caterer - best packed vegetarian lunch I’ve ever had on a tourist experience. It included a wrap, two kinds of cookies, granola bar, (all homemade) and dried fruit.

- Adventure717551 contributionThis was a truly amazing tour. We have never done anything quite like this before, having always organised our own travel arrangements in the past, and were a little anxious about how it may go. It absolutely exceeded our expectations.
Everything went to plan. By and large great accommodation, comfortable bus and fun side trips. There was only a small group on the tour and all were fun travelling companions.
The standout for us was out tour guide and driver - Meghan. She absolutely made it special. Her energy, professionalism, good nature, general knowledge and tolerance did not go unnoticed. Every morning she greeted us with a big smile and happy demeanour and that is not easy with so many different personalities in a group tour.
We felt safe and secure at all times too, as her driving ability and skills were spot on.
She really made sure we were all looked after and that individual requests were honoured where possible.
In fact, it was so good we have decided to do another group tour next year in Europe. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They get you up close and personal, but in a safe manner. - Jiroj C.15 contributionsThe Vancouver Island Premium is amazing! The scenery was better than we imagined. The accommodations were comfortable as well, and it was an incredible experience! Tour guide, Kara, was absolutely amazing. Her extensive knowledge and genuine local expertise added immense value to the trip. We had time to go to the hot spring. It was amazing with the amazing view, and during our ride back to Tofino, we had a chance to see the Humpback Whale. The distillery tour and museum visit were fantastic additions. The Big Tree Trail on Meares Island was a unique and enjoyable experience, showcasing the island's natural beauty. We especially enjoyed the guest size on their boat with the option to sit inside or outside at most any time. We saw gorgeous scenery, sea birds, Stellar Sea Lions, Seals, Humpback Whales and Orcas.
