Out of the wand massagers and vibrators I’ve tested, the LELO Smart Wand 2 is the most luxurious of them all so far. It’s high-quality and is great for intimate and relaxation purposes during sex, play and massage. With a sleek design, the Smart Wand 2 is a great improvement of the original favourite from LELO, and is made with smooth silicone for a stylish finish. Personally, I love the black and gold colouring.
The LELO Smart Wand 2 comes in two sizes: medium and large. I tested the large, and honestly, it is very large. Understandably so, however, when you consider that it can be used for body massages as well as for masturbation.
Its standout feature though, is the Smart Silence technology, which means the vibrator only starts when in contact with the skin - meaning it’s discreet and won’t start until it’s already in place! It’s very quiet during use and it’s fully submersible and waterproof, making it versatile for use in different environments like the shower or in a hot tub. Although, I did find it meant the vibrations were slightly delayed a couple of times - but this didn’t make it any less effective overall.

To fully evaluate its features and performance, I followed the below testing process with the LELO Smart Wand 2.
Firstly, I considered its physical design and build. It’s a stylish, modern, and sleek wand vibrator that is constructed well and the material is high quality. Despite being large in size, it’s not heavy and is very easy to handle. There are 10 vibration settings in total, and to ensure the Smart Silence technology works properly, it was tested both in and out of the duvet covers. Finally, not only did I test it during masturbation, but DH was open to trying it out with a full body massage.

How easy is it to set-up the LELO Smart Wand 2?
To unbox, you simply need to remove the wand from its packaging and ensure all components are present - including the charging cable. As with most toys, it’s advised that you fully charge the LELO Smart Wand 2 before first use to ensure the battery lasts as long as possible - and the intensities remain as powerful as you need them to.
Weirdly enough, the USB rechargeable cable needs to be plugged into the vibrator - however, the LELO Smart Wand 2 is indeed waterproof and submersible for bathtime fun. So, don’t worry! You’ll need a USB plug head of your own for charging. Plus, you will need access to a USB port, device or plug socket.

To turn on your LELO Smart Wand 2, you just need to press and hold the power button for a few seconds until vibrations begin and the indicator light turns on. To switch off, press and hold the same button to power down. The control buttons are used to adjust the settings, which help you to navigate through the ten vibration modes available.
Since this wand massager from LELO includes Smart Silence technology, all you need to do is simply place the wand against your skin to activate the vibrations - it should start vibrating upon contact. Although, I find that sometimes there can be a few seconds delay so bear this in mind.

Boasting a sleek design, I have to say that the LELO Smart Wand 2 is one of the more elegant wand massagers I’ve tested. Its design is sophisticated and modern, and features smooth lines and a minimalist aesthetic.
The wand is made of high-quality, body-safe silicone, and has a soft and luxurious feel to it. The device itself is curved for ergonomic handling - which I found useful - and the rounded head is designed to deliver targeted vibrations wherever placed. What is the LELO Smart Wand 2 like to use?
