Ann Summers Moregasm+ Bullet review

Ann Summers’ Moregasm range is recommended time and time again over on our dedicated sex Talk board. The original range is loved by Mumsnet users already. But since Ann Summers have released new and improved Moregasm toys that are designed to deliver even more intense sensations, we thought it best to try one out to help you decide before you buy.

The all new Moregasm toys have been given an upgrade with market leading Climax Technology that includes a boost function, new charging abilities, and a new storage bag… All for the same price as the OG range. So, since the original Moregasm+ Bullet was already voted as one of the best vibrators that Mumsnet users recommend, MNHQ editor Rebecca put the new one to the test.

Read on to find out exactly what she thought about the Moregasm+ Bullet.

Oh and to answer some of your other questions - the Moregasm set is very couple friendly in that the shape of the vibrator is perfect to put in your hand and use either on yourself or someone else…

Our verdict

Throughout my journey to find the best of the best when it comes to sex essentials, there’s only been a few times I’ve been thoroughly impressed. The Womanizer OG is a worthy lead for dual stimulation - but for the clit only? IMHO, the Moregasm+ Bullet is a must.

When it comes to sex, Ann Summers is a brand that always springs to mind. So, it’s no surprise then, that the brand’s exclusive Moregasm range is a popular go-to for Mumsnet users. And, as if they weren’t giving people enough orgasms already, the company has re-released six Moregasm sex toys, all with new and improved designs and technology. The Moregasm+ Bullet is one of these toys, which has been expertly created with Ann Summers’ exclusive Climax Technology - more on this later.

With a non-intimidating design, the Moregasm+ Bullet is made of dual-density, body-safe silicone that’s super-soft. The toy has a ridged texture for added sensation, which is hard (but not too hard) enough to offer extra stimulation without overpowering your 15,000(!) nerve endings. There are 10 settings in total: five different speeds, and five different vibration patterns. The low-frequency vibrations have been specifically designed to travel deeper through your body. So, there’s plenty of settings to try to help you reach Mt. O. A word of warning, though: start off slow, build up the intensity and use a water-based lube, particularly if you’re new to sex toys (or risk your clit flying off).

I particularly appreciate its size and how easy it is to use. It’s not tiny, but it’s not too large to overpower or be tricky to hold during solo or partner play. Despite its size, it does pack a punch thanks to the bullet’s powerful motor. It’s easy to navigate the settings with a simple click of the on/off button, too. Moreover, you needn’t restrict its use to just clitoral stimulation. The Moregasm+ Bullet is safe to use on other external pleasure points on both you and your partner.

Final thoughts: Great as a first toy, but still powerful enough to add to an experienced collection, Ann Summer’s new and improved Moregasm+ Bullet is a perfect choice for those people seeking external stimulation without the fuss.

Moregasm+ Bullet: how we tested

  • Tested over six weeks

  • At home and while travelling

  • Used solo and with partner

To ensure I thoroughly tested the Moregasm+ Bullet, it was used over a number of weeks and tested in bed, in the shower, and also with DH. It even came on holiday with us!

Since the bullet is designed for external, clitoral stimulation only, it was used primarily during foreplay but was a fun addition to intercourse, too. It’s not suitable for internal use, but it is waterproof - hence some added fun in the shower!

Moregasm+ Bullet: what’s in the box?

  • Moregasm+ Bullet vibrator

  • Magnetic USB charging cable

  • Storage bag

  • Instruction guide

The packaging is equally as luxe as the bullet vibrator itself. A sturdy, sleek and black cardboard box houses a plastic insert, which holds the ready to buzz bullet. Beneath the plastic insert, you’ll find an instruction leaflet and the magnetic USB charging cable.

What is Climax Technology?

Ann Summers have developed their own exclusive vibrator motor, which uses the science of sound waves to deliver strong vibrations that travel further through your body and offer a much more intense sensation than a regular vibrator.

Other vibrators target the nerves on the surface of the body’s major erogenous zones - the clit, penis, G-spot and P-spot. Whereas, Ann Summers’ Climax Technology targets the nerve endings in these places that are tucked away, deep beneath the surface. Think of your clit like the tip of an iceberg, for example.

Moregasm+ Bullet: how easy is it to set-up?

The bullet itself came with some charge already, so it’s ready to go after unboxing. But, for full power and a long-lasting experience, I’d advise charging it for at least a couple of hours ahead of using it.

Charging is easy, thanks to the magnetic USB charging cable that is included. You’ll need a USB plug head of your own, and once connected, it’s a pretty strong magnet. Of course, if you find yourself without a plug head - like while travelling - access to a USB port on a device or plug socket will do the trick.

For me, I left it charging for two hours before taking it off to bed. The light flashes when the vibrator is charging, and will remain a solid light when the device is fully charged. To turn on and off, you need only press and hold the one button for a few seconds.

To navigate the vibration speeds and patterns, simply press the on/off button to cycle through the available ones until you find one you enjoy.

Moregasm+ Bullet: how does it look?

Previous versions of the Moregasm+ Bullet have been in a turquoise blue design. For the new version, Ann Summers have chosen a deep pink that’s almost purple in colour. The rose coloured bottom has remained, though, which is where the magnetic charging point is.

While the four inch length and circumference are pretty standard for bullets on the market, the Moregasm+ Bullet’s textured ridges and squishy tip make this vibrator stand-out for the best reasons. Made of body-safe silicone, the bullet is soft to touch and the squidgy tip caresses your clit rather than jamming against it. It might be small, but it’s certainly mighty.

Moregasm+ Bullet: what’s it like to use?

For solo fun, this bullet vibrator is rather addictive, I’ll be honest. It’s my first bullet and the smallest sex toy I’ve tried in comparison to the Womanizer OG and Ann Summer’s Self Love Wand. Compared to those two larger toys, it’s not intimidating in design or size.

While it’s the smallest toy I’ve tried, it gives great coverage of key areas thanks to the toy’s Climax Technology. The vibrator doesn’t just touch the surface - it targets deeper nerves and stimulates an entire area, giving deeper, more intense orgasms. While using it alone, I started off with the lowest speed and navigated my way through the vibration patterns.

For couples wanting to introduce sex toys to intercourse, it’s a great choice to start with thanks to its non-intimidating design and varied settings. That’s not to say it should be ignored by even the most experienced sex toy users.

Moregasm+ Bullet: how easy is it to clean?

Cleaning is straightforward and easy. It’s recommended you use Ann Summers’ own Buzz Fresh Wipes to clean your bullet, or a gentle wash with warm water and soap will suffice. It’s also recommended you clean before and after every use, and avoid cleaning it while it’s charging.

The Moregasm+ Bullet comes with its own drawstring storage bag, which is handy. If you choose to bypass the storage bag, the toy should be stored in a clean, dry environment as moisture can damage batteries - avoid storing it in a bathroom, for example.
