Spend a wonderful week during Easter, taking an incredible group of young carers for a rewarding respite break full of fun!

Nursery

Feel free to visit the nursery whenever they are open to play with the babies and children and help with mealtimes. There's also chances to get involved with one-off events. You are sure to be welcomed by smiley faces!

Robogals

Introduce and encourage girls into the world STEM through all sorts of sessions and day events. Go to Scouts and let their creativity soar whilst programming robots. Take part in Space Day and launch a rocket. Explore the range of STEM and where it can take you!
Community Outreach

Special Events

Get involved in a series of one-off events throughout the year, engaging all aspects of the community. From creating a traditional cinema experience for the elderly at ‘Flix Down Memory Lane’ to organising a Tea Dance, evoking memories of days gone by. Hosting Kids’ Parties are another firm favourite. Everyone leaves this project smiling and laughing!

Kids Trips

Take local primary school children on an epic school trip! Have fun playing laser tag, challenging yourself to do wall climbing, making pizzas and watching a film, or maybe you have another idea for an activity for the kids to enjoy. Give them a school trip to remember!
Community Outreach

Soup Kitchen

Join in on making and serving meals at the weekly Soup Kitchen. Cook up delicious food for users to enjoy. Have lots of fun making people say yum!

Contact the Elderly

Chat over a cup of tea, sandwiches and scones, as you help combat social isolation for elderly residents!

Football For All

Run sessions and play football with refugees in the local area. There's no better way to bond than over the beautiful game!
Inclusivity

Ashmount

Ashmount is a local school that provides education for pupils with special educational needs. Help provide invaluable support and energy to the school by volunteering weekly. Build strong relationships with the students and gain incredible skills from this very rewarding project!

Intergenerational

Interact with people of all ages when you take children from the nursery on campus to a local care home. Bounce balloons, blow bubbles, chat and colour in with everyone!
Overseas

Romania

Take part in a range of activities as you take in the culture of Romania. Sort out clothes in a refugee centre, play with children at Casa Maria, help with arts and crafts sessions. There’s no other experience like it!

University Experience

Encourage primary school children to aspire to go to university through fun activities and campus tours! No matter your background or what you’ve done at university so far, everyone’s experience is different, and you may just show a child that they can go to university too.
