🌟 Meet Gino, Our Exceptional Intern at ExxonMobil 🌟
From skilled craft worker to future engineer, Gino’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. A non-traditional student at LSU, Gino’s path to success began in the rugged terrain of the petrochemical industry, where he honed his skills as a rigger. His thirst for knowledge and desire to make a greater impact led him back to academia, where he is now pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at the LSU College of Engineering.
Gino’s dedication and hard work caught our attention through his involvement with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), leading to a transformative Fall Co-Op last year at our Baton Rouge Refinery. His outstanding performance earned him a return offer, and he is currently making waves as an intern at our Chemical Plant.
These experiences have been more than just professional milestones; they’ve allowed Gino to cherish more moments with his beloved family and daughter. He takes great pride in being part of the ExxonMobil family, who he says, “continues to cultivate my growth and adaptability as an engineering professional while supporting the notable freedom of a healthy work/life balance.”
As Gino accelerates toward graduation in May 2026, we’re proud to have him on our team and excited to see all the incredible things he will accomplish. Please join us in celebrating Gino’s achievements and his bright future ahead! #Engineering #STEM #FutureOfEngineering #LSU #GeauxEngineering #SHPE #ExxonMobilCareers
