We’ve just returned from #Singapore, where we attended the 16th ICIS Asian Base Oils and Lubricants Conference, the largest gathering of #baseoils and #lubricants professionals in the region.      Our very own Laura Pottorf, Basestocks & Waxes Global Marketing Manager, and Peng Ann Yap, Market Planning Manager for ExxonMobil Asia Pacific, delivered a keynote speech highlighting our Singapore Resid Upgrade Project as an example of how ExxonMobil is meeting evolving market demand for higher-performance lubricants.     On top of that, our team members Leo Li, Asia Pacific Basestocks Customer Technical Service, and Raymond Wong, Asia Pacific Basestocks & Waxes Sales Director, discussed our EHC 340 MAX™ product at the ExxonMobil Product Breakfast Symposium. Our EHC™ 65 #basestock is a favorite among automotive #lubricant manufacturers — and for good reason. 🚚  Many #heavyduty engine oils, like those used in long-haul #trucks, require some Group III base stocks to meet #viscosity and performance requirements. EHC 65, however, maintains low volatility while minimizing the need for such “corrector” stocks, which are often less cost effective.  When used with our EHC 45 base stock, which is designed for blending 5W and passenger car motor oils, the EHC 65 product can enable important emerging heavy-duty engine oils grades like 10W-30. The EHC 65 base stock is part of our Group II slate, offering increased #flexibility, broad blend coverage and simplified qualification testing for automotive lubricants.
