Still buzzing with energy from Asians In Advertising’s 3rd Annual Breaking Barriers Summit (the first in person!). It was more than an event; it was a transformative experience. I've never felt such a profound sense of belonging and inclusion at a professional event. Surrounded by passionate leaders and future leaders, the day was the perfect mix of inspiration, insightful discussions, and meaningful connections—all dedicated to empowering and amplifying the voices of Asian Americans in the advertising industry. Representing Razorfish as a speaker was a true honor. Heartfelt thanks to Bernice Chao ✨ and the entire AIA team for organizing such an exceptional event. I admire your dedication to fostering the professional growth of the AANHPI community in advertising. Excited to share that I'll be returning to the University of Pennsylvania to speak at the Pan-Asian American Community House (PAACH) at UPenn's "Explore. Reflect. Become. Lunch Series" on Thursday, April 11th at 12pm. What drew me to this lunch series was the word at the heart of its title: REFLECT. As I approach a milestone birthday this summer, I find myself naturally inclined to pause and ponder, to look back on my journey so far and contemplate the road ahead. Super excited and honored to announce that I am partnering with my colleagues across Publicis Groupe and Publicis Health to speak on a panel at the 2023 Inclusive Leadership Conference hosted by Temple University in collaboration with Campus Philly. The ILC is a series of talks and workshops for college students in the Philadelphia area dedicated to leadership, diversity and inclusion. We will be discussing the importance of employee & business resource groups and how they foster a culture of inclusivity and belonging at work. I’m proud of the investment that Publicis Groupe makes in our BRGs as my involvement in them over the past 8+ years has certainly helped me make connections across our network, celebrate the different facets of my identity, and raise awareness of the challenges my different communities face.
