Authors, as you're prepping for your book to come out, even a year out from when it will, you should also be prepping people for it. That means, make sure you're creating content and work that speaks to the vibes/topics/thought leadership in the book. Use the year leading up to it to get folks familiar w/ the fact that this is your lane. It's time for deep branding so when the book drops, folks go "ah yes. This makes sense." What I see a lot of people do is put their heads down to write the book without also getting their audience ready for the type of book they're about to drop. Double down on your thought leadership publicly as you're working on your memoir/essay collection/prescriptive nonfiction book. Let people know you know what you're talking about BEFORE you ever announce the book is available for preorder. Word to The Book Academy. #Branding #BookWriting #ThoughtLeadership
